jehan gloria I can’t say if there will be a sem break. You need to ask the DLI and make sure that is a scheduled break. It will be based on the program you’ll be choosing.

Is it okay to take a program different to the degree you got in Ph? I wanted to take a 2 year program on graphic design but I graduated from an engineering course here in Ph.
Most of the immigration consultancies ang agencies, they recommend to take a program/s that are related either to your education or work experience because is has a higher chance of approval. But you can still take different program but you need to defend it strongly with your Letter of Explanation.

As you mentioned these colleges doesn't require ielts. Maybe study permit visa authorities may ask for ielts. What you would say in this case ?
Thanks for watching and for the comment. These colleges don’t need English test but English as a Medium of Instruction instead. I suggest to contact the institution’s coordinator to guide you accordingly. But if you are applying SDS, you must have English Test either IELTS or CELPIP.

U mentioned here 2 year total cost bla bla but when I go visit that college side there showing more amount why ?
Jawhar das the amounts are for only 1 yr program. And as I have mentioned, it is for TF alone, no other miscellaneous fees.
If ielts is not required in some schools , what about in applying for a pr , i think ielts is included in the point syatem.

Hello Sir Jayson, regarding Seneca NO IELTS po ba? Upon checking on the Application Checklist on their website need po ng proof of English Proficiency.

Also, you need to check with the school because, it also depend on the program. Example is the medical programs that really require IELTS with specific minimum band score.

Regarding English as a Medium of Instruction, just request it to your school in the Phils and they know how to create one.

Hi po I'm an aspiring International student who would like to try seneca college but it's quite far from the house that I'm about to stay in and so I decided to pick Humber college instead because it's near. If I take hospitality management or practical nursing will I be needing IELTS? If yes will you recommend courses related to those two which doesn't require IELTS in Humber. I recommend Practical Nursing rather than Hospitality.

All these colleges require IELTS. IF u don't provide them IELTS then they will give u a conditional offer letter and then you have to complete an English course there right before your actual studies and that will be at an extra cost. So stop misguiding people
Thanks for watching and for the comment. Sorry to hear that you feel that I am misguiding people, but these DLIs don’t require English Test instead, you need to provide certificate of English as a Medium of Instruction from your previous school in your home country.
I suggest to check directly with your chosen DLI and ask them regarding this matter. Remember, at the end of the day, the DLI will be the one who approves your credentials. If your admission credentials are not enough according to their requirements, that’s the time that you need to comply with it.

Hello, good to see your reply dear. But i want to let you know that i took admission in the seneca college in Business diploma program and the very first thing they demanded was IELTS. They are not accepting English proficiency certificates from all the universities. Maybe there are some well reputed universities whose certificates are applicable but as you are saying they accept those certificates from every university is completely wrong. Maybe now you got my point. Thanks

3. Coordinate and verify with the school if they can waive English test and provide certification of English as a Medium of Instruction instead.

Thanks for watching and for the comment. If you are applying in the Phils, better related to your univ program or work experience. It is easier to defend in your related field. But if you want to pursue different program, apply for the 2nd program when you’re here na. It is easier and more lenient.

USMAN SHAFIQ PAKISTANI thanks for watching and for the comment. First, your PR application depends on pathway you will pursue like Express Entry, PNPs or immigration pilot. You just need to know more about these pathways as they have different eligibilities and requirements. Secondly, IELTS is only valid for 2 years. So whether you take IELTS or not, during your Study Permit application, you can take one on your PR application as this is one of the important requirements in Canada.

Once you decided for the college, apply to their website and make sure that your country doesn’tbneed IELTS too to verify.

May I know why you did not include Niagara College Canada since it is also based in Ontario? because as far as I know they are also considered as a DLI and no ielts required.
