Hi Jayson! Thanks for the very informative video! Brother Jayson Good day. Would just like to ask if the affidavit of support needs to be notarized in the country wherein our sponsor resides? Because in our case, our sponsor is currently and temporarily residing in the middle east although they are also pure Filipinos. In addition, all of the supporting documents on their proof of funds will be coming primarily from the middle east (COE, ITR, Bank savings, etc.). Just asking because notarization in the middle east is very costly compared here in the Philippines. This is just what we need to clarify as of the moment before we proceed in our GCKEY application. Thanks and God bless you more!
Hi Jayson thank you for the video, kailangan ba close relative lang pwede mag sponsor sa student visa? or any one can sponsor as long they will give you a support letter? thank you
Hello Jayson! Just a couple of questions. The amount of money (PHP 700,000 (CAD 18,400)) your agent asked you to provide, was the amount of money you already paid for the 1st semester tuition fee included in that amount or was it excluded? And which letter did you explain to the immigration officer that your already paid the first semester tuition fee? I didn't see it in the two letters you showed. Thank you. :)
Thanks for watching and for the comment. In my case, I did my application thru Regular Stream and paid for my 1 semester. In my POF, as per IRCC, you must comply the minimum of $10K CAD + your remaining TF for 1st year. I didn’t indicate it in my letter as I provided receipts that I already paid my 1st semester. You can also check the video about “LETTER OF EXPLANATION” for more details.
Hey there, hope you're okay. I wanted to know if I submit a letter of support for the study permit, is it mandatory to pay the tuition fee and show that as well?
At last, i found a video that answers some of my questions.. Hi Jason, thank you. One more question, thus a friend is qualified to sponsor my study in Canada?
A friend cannot be qualified to sponsor you except he/she is a family member based in Canada. Family member are your parents or your spouse. Your brother, sister, cousin, friend, uncle, aunt cannot sponsor you to canada.
Hi Jayson. Thank you so much for this video. Just wanna ask, I'm planning to take a 2-year program in Toronto and indeed it says in the IRCC website that the minimum amount of money I'll need to support myself there per year is 10,000 CAD. I only have the 10,000 CAD for the first year of my stay there, is it required to show in my proof of funds the minimum 10,000 CAD for the second year?
Aziz Mustapha aside from the required POF, include the TF of your 1st yr in your POF as well. In my case, I only provided for the 1st year of my program and I was approved. But I suggest to provide higher POF for better and higher chance of approval.
@@JaysonJim Thank you. Do you think they'll require me to explain to them how I'll support my second year stay there in my letter of affidavit? I don't have anybody who will support me. It's all through self-fund and I already have the college fees including tuitions for both years and only the minimum 10k for year 1. I hope they won't ask how I'll get money for my second year stay there even though I'll obviously work part-time job and full-time during breaks.
Hello! thanks for this video! I have a question, how many files can I upload (applying online) regards to my passport, can I upload my past passports also for travel history?
jehan gloria thanks for watching and for your comment. Yes, my parents money was the one that I used for my POF. No need to transfer it in my account or in my name.
jehan gloria since I didn’t have much money in my account, no need for me to provide that. I just used my money for the airfare, buying clothes, laptop and etc. My family just provided 1 bank account.
Hey Jayson, if my uncle will sponsor me and my family for the living expense, should my uncle provide bank account statement also? And for me provide for 1 year tuition fee in my bank account?
Hi Jayson! This is for the sponsor part, is it required to transfer the required amount to your own account or okay lg po ba if sa account lg ng nagssponsor? Since my uncle will sponsor my study in Canada and nasa US cya. Thank you po in advance 🤍
Hi Jayson. Question po. Based sa experience mo. Dun sa Application form question na "Funds Available for my stay" un ba ung living expense mo lang or need un living expense plus tuition? What if bayad ka na 1 year tuition example $18k tas may GIC/Bank Money ka na $15k So ilalagay ko ba dun $15k lang or $33k (18k plus 15k)?
Hello! A family friend will be supporting me but they are not comfortable with providing me their Bank statements and bank certificate. They will however give me an Employment Certificate and they will pay for my 1 year worth of tuition and give funds for the GIC. Is that enough?
Sir can i request to have a sample copy of affidavit of financial support from my friend and also a copy of a letter which is Nursing or healthcare worker.thank you pls!!!!!!
Jayson Jim Thanks also for your very informative videos! Btw, what if your sponsor is from other countries? Lets say from Canada also, do they have to send the original documents for you to submit online? Or scanned copy of those will be acceptable?
Hi Jayson and thank you for your efforts I appreciate it alot. I have a question like if I was planning to have a two year program do I have to prove that I have the money for the whole period like the tuition fee plus the 10k dollars or just for one year cuz I'm confused
Thanks for watching and for the comment. As per IRCC, you POF should be $10K plus 1 yr TF. I remembered my agency before told me to provide at least Php 700K for my 2 yr program. But note that the bigger the better.

My wife will be applying for student permit under SDS and I am currently overseas. She will be the SP holder, I will be applying for OWP and our 2 kids for TRV. Thanks in advance.
Hi Jayson, i just want to ask what if the fund you are going to use is from a property sold here in the Philippines, do I need to wait atleast 3 months to mature it on the bank? And can I deposit money in bulk ? Thank you
Jayvee Carampot thank you for watching and for your comment. 1. You can use the money from the sold property. As I have mentioned in my video, you can indicate in your letter where the money came from and you can also attach the receipt as a proof. 2. What I suggest is to have the money matured for at least 4-6 months. 3. Yes you can deposit a bulk amount but as you provide bank statement, you need to provide the receipt or reason of having a bulk money. Hope I answered your questions well.

Hi Sir Jayson, Is it okay too if the Mom of my Fiancé' will be the one to sponsor? thing is we haven't met yet as she is working out of the country. Do we also need to submit pictures or anything that can proved our relationship for the Affidavit of support?

Hi Jayson, I just wanna ask about the $10,000 POF, cause my parents are gonna support me, do we need to show that they have that amount in their bank acct? If we don’t have that yet, what else can we do? Thank you!
Thanks for watching and for the comment. If your parents will support your studies, your parents must have the POF plus the 1 year program TF. If it's not possible to attain the amount, better collate it first before applying for Canada Study Permit.

Hi Sir Jayson Good day! Paano if nag plano mag student sa canada, let say tuition is 12500 cad a year then plus 10,000 cad for student plus 4,000 cad para sa partner (common law partner) for cost of living. Sabihin na natin 1.5M pesos lahat po yung peso equivalent ng required proof of fund. Let say nabayaran ko na yung 1st sem or 1 year tuition fee so magkakaroon ako ng resibo for the payment I made, yung resibo na bana iyon is pwedeng maging proof of fund as part ng 1.5 m na required? Oh yung 1.5 m is dapat cash in bank lang talaga? Hindi po ba pwedeng yung 1.5 M is in the form of the following: 1.share of stock investment for showmoney(readily convertible into cash naman agad) worth 500k (nakapanganlan sa common law partner) 2.affidavit of support na may 2 sponsor na may 3M in total ( both sponsor is kapatid ng common law partner ko na nasa USA) 3. Land or Condo tittle worth 3 M (nakapangalan sa common law partner) and this is the condo na tinitirahan namin. 4.Life insurance with investment. Thanks
Thanks for watching and for the long comment. Lol. POF is separated from the TF that was paid or will be paying. With regard to the items you provided, All of those can be included in your application as POF but make sure you have letters and documents from your sponsors. Same thing with your common-law partner. And the minimum required POF is $10K CAD but the higher the better.

Thanks for watching and for the comment. Anyone can sponsor you. But make sure to give the reason of sponsorship and letter of support.
Hello po, great content. Question lang po, Yung 700k po ba dapat under your name na bank acct talaga or pwede na sa sponsor/parents mo po?
Thanks for watching and for the comment. In my case, it was under my parents's names as they supported my application and studies.
@@JaysonJim The more I get closer on getting a study permit, the I get nervous and go crazy. Thanks again Jayson.

I wanted to know if I submit a letter of support for the study permit, is it mandatory to pay the tuition fee and show that as well?
Hey Jasson do I have to show money in my account if my parents are sponsoring?
Pano po ba kino-collate yung mga sets ng documents?

Aziz Mustapha if you already have the TF for 2 yrs, I think that would be fine.
@@JaysonJimI hope so. Thank you Jayson!

Hi jayson jim, does that mean the money from your parents bank acct were not transferred to your own bank? And it was already considered as your pof?
jehan gloria thanks for watching and for your comment. Yes, my parents money was the one that I used for my POF. No need to transfer it in my account or in my name.
Hi jayson jim follow up question lang hehehe. Pro may pinakita pa rin po kayo na acct na under sa name nyo po? Mga ilang % ng needed pof po kaya?
jehan gloria since I didn’t have much money in my account, no need for me to provide that. I just used my money for the airfare, buying clothes, laptop and etc. My family just provided 1 bank account.
Ah ok. Thank u jayson jim. 😊

Sir very helpful video and sir GIC account before study permit or after study permit ?
Hey Jayson, if my uncle will sponsor me and my family for the living expense, should my uncle provide bank account statement also? And for me provide for 1 year tuition fee in my bank account?
Hi Jayson! This is for the sponsor part, is it required to transfer the required amount to your own account or okay lg po ba if sa account lg ng nagssponsor? Since my uncle will sponsor my study in Canada and nasa US cya.
Thank you po in advance 🤍
Hello sir! My daughter is turning 18 yrs old on october 18,2022. Pwede po ba siyang isama sa appication ko for student visa?
Hi Jayson. Question po. Based sa experience mo. Dun sa Application form question na "Funds Available for my stay" un ba ung living expense mo lang or need un living expense plus tuition?
What if bayad ka na 1 year tuition example $18k tas may GIC/Bank Money ka na $15k
So ilalagay ko ba dun $15k lang or $33k (18k plus 15k)?
Kapag spouse ang sponsor need ba ng affidavit of support?

Hi, about the bank statements do you provide them in the original language or get a certified traslation?
Thanks for watching and for the comment. Good thing in my country, it was already in English but if not, better have it translated.
Hi Kuya Jayson!. May I ask po if I can include this letter in my SOP instead of having it separated? Thank you!
Thanks for watching and for the comment. You can do so.
Hi Jayson! Can you have multiple sponsors?
Gellyn Casiano thanks for watching. Yes, you can have morr sponsors.
Jayson Jim Thanks also for your very informative videos! Btw, what if your sponsor is from other countries? Lets say from Canada also, do they have to send the original documents for you to submit online? Or scanned copy of those will be acceptable?
Gellyn Casiano better if it is the origina copy but if not, have it notoatized since tight now, IRCC accepts online application only.

Hi, for student direct stream is it really required to submit a bank statement of at least four months if you are bringing your family?
Jayson Jim thank you ! Such a big help as always 😊
Jayvee Carampot no prob. Thanks again.
jayson may i ask, regarding RNIP video of yours.. sorry i have to cross message here. what if the NLC but the campus is in St. John and not Nelson? will that be eligible for the RNIP?
Aris Andrey thanks for your comment. It should be in the participating community which is in Nelson.
Just a question, is it possible that I will process my wife and daughter's visa after I arrived and a bit settled already in canada as international student? Meaning they will just follow me after few months, FYI. We are not originating from Philippines, we are based in Qatar. Thanks for your response.
Thanks for watching and for the comment. You can do that too and it is possible as you will be able to adopt the country and know the system.

Is the affidavit of support and sponsorship letter the same? Please differentiate :D

Hi Sir Jayson, Is it okay too if the Mom of my Fiancé' will be the one to sponsor? thing is we haven't met yet as she is working out of the country. Do we also need to submit pictures or anything that can proved our relationship for the Affidavit of support?
Thanks for watching and for the comment. What I suggest is to provide letter of support then just provide your BF and his mom's birth certificate and some identifications of them too.

Hindi po ba pwedeng yung 1.5 M is in the form of the following:
1.share of stock investment for showmoney(readily convertible into cash naman agad) worth 500k (nakapanganlan sa common law partner)
2.affidavit of support na may 2 sponsor na may 3M in total ( both sponsor is kapatid ng common law partner ko na nasa USA)
I have a question that will benefit most of the students who want to extend their education in Canada.
Will IRCC will still require us to show our proof of fundings if our relatives that reside in Canada will provide a bank statement, affidavit of support, letter of support that they will cover the tuition, housing, etc during the whole study period? I hope to hear from you soon.
