@@ThisisYulia Hey Yulia♥️ I've one question in my mind what are job scenario after PG DIPLOMA vs MASTER DEGREE ? Can you survive with salary after DIPLOMA COURSE. Please do reply... thank you 💜
You know this should be the perfect youtube channel for whoever willing to study in canada as a international student . Keep it up mate. Well presented !. Really appreciate your content ! ❤️🔥 from srilanka
Thank you so much!!! This information is worth more than gold! I appreciate you taking the time to do this video since doing the research is not as simple as one might think. Thanks again Yulia!
Canadian here! Great comprehensive video overall! Just a minor correction to one of your points, there are co op programs available at the undergraduate level in Canadian universities. A well known example is the program at the University of Waterloo.
I have a bachelor in literature and linguistics as well felt relevant so had to immediately subscribe hehe! I was concerned though cause I only have one reference letter from my former University, and I thought this is not enough- my aim is to apply for graduate certificate or master's in college somewhere in Canada-. But thinks to you I won't be running an email marathon with my doctors to get a second reference letter! Yay
The best comparison video between College and University I found on TH-cam. Everything has been explained in straight and forward way. Would you please make a video about the one year post graduate degrees and the colleges for the students of English language or Linguistics major? Thank you Yulia, best wishes.
ow my God!!! you really know how to clear up a confusion 😍😍...You are so inspiring and helpful. I am so thankful for your effort doing this videos please keep up !
I'm a new subscriber. I really learnt a lot . Though I have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting in my home country, but am going for a 2 years Accounting diploma program in Georgian College. Thanks for this video again.
Someone probably said this already but in Quebec college can have a different meaning because college used to just mean a catholic school in french, therefor even though it's called a college, it is most likely a secondary school or a cégep. Also even if it's called a "collège", it doesn't mean it is a catholique school, it means that it used to be. One last thing, if you're participating in an exchange programme from let's say France and your in your first years of university, you will most likely be put in a cégep which is equivalent to 12th and 13th grade (if you have that) and the first years of university.
It's a good presentation. I would like to have heard the words 'trade school' used in describing Canadian Colleges and polytechnical institutes. You are correct in mentioning Tourism and Hospitality but mention of trades would be helpful. In Canada automotive mechanics, apprentice and journeyman electricians, bookkeepers, Web Designers, certified General Accountants, licenced practical nurses, analytical chemists, lab technicians and other technicians in the sciences as well as commercial bakers, surveyors and Red Seal Chefs are trained at Colleges. Lawyers, Registered Nurses, M.B.A.'s Professional Engineers, Electrical Engineers and Scientists are trained at Universities. Someone else already posted that Universities have co-ops. Most that I've heard of were Computer Science related but there are probably Bachelor of Commerce co-ops as well. I really get confused listening to Americans on TH-cam use the word college when they are talking about University in the U.S.A. It has to be quite confusing for international students. Just between us, should I ever mention that Canadian Universities are actually composed of colleges like the College of Dentistry and the Agricultural College etc?!?!?!? Recently, there have been a few colleges in the province of Alberta that added Universiry degrees to their course offerings and changed their names to include the word University. e.g. Mount Royal College is now Mount Royal University. So there are courses at Mount Royal University that would be missed if one assumed it only taught University degree courses If you ever want to REALLY confuse a student, when I was attending the University of Manitoba in the mid-1980's, The philosophy course I took was in a building on campus that was part of a group of buildings connected to "University College" which was also the name of the residence I stayed in. If I had taken the philosophy course and some other courses that were offered in that building or area such as Astronomy, I could have gotten my B.Sc. with mention that I was a member or fellow of University College. It was changed decades ago maybe because of the existence of University College in the U.K.
Colleges can also be smaller schools associated with a University. McGill U has MacDonald College for Agriculture, for example. Cambridge U has the famous Kings College
Is it the best TH-cam channel? Yes it definitely is!!!!!
thank you 🙏🏼
