Memorial is extremely expensive now. I will advice anyone to apply for vocational education. You can easily get your admission they do not complicate on your documents and most of them don’t even need IELTs . Toulon vocational college is the best

For Memorial University of Newfoundland, they have become costly. I saw they charge special fees, which make some courses like Business Administration more costly.
If a 2years college Study Visa applicant does NOT have basic science subjects like physics, chemistry at all but has Mathematics and other social sciences like government, economics, geography in her O'Level, but she opting for IT course like Programming, Cybersecuries etc and she is 50years old at the point of entry, does she stand the possibility of being denied at entry point by virtue of her age, and /or by O'Level subjects obtained and the course she is opting for.

If there are more bad reviews online as there are good reviews, them there is an issue. Do more research to see if what people are saying is true or not. I personally don't know much about the college.

The visa officers have already reviewed your credentials before issuing visas.
The entry border is not where they will review your credentials

Do they admit matured students?
Person who graduated so many years back and there is a gap in last year's of studies
Some colleges need proof to show relevant experience during those study gap. They may consider if the experience matches what you are applying for
