Yup. This is a step in the right direction. I have a friend with Q8 (all screens) who is coming from a previous gen A7. He hates the all-touch controls.
Personally I love my etron's screens. Haven't seen many complaints on the forums either. The GT seems a little less luxurious than the etron SUVs as TeslaBjorn mentioned.

always, great test. You are the best in terms of the EV range test and gathering proper data. One thing to point out though, It's the tire width that matters for the efficiency than the rim size. (often, larger rims comes with wider tires, so it's still ok to reference the rim size) You have the width in the data, so it's fine. Please keep up the good work. I really appreciate your works. Did you find a place to put a phone on the central console? Any Qi charging? I couldn’t find any. The interior looks very cheap - lots of plastic and cheap artificial leather on the dash board.
Maybe it's just that I don't see the car in 3D in the video, but I was not impressed with the side view of this car. The first thing I noticed was the vent in the front that at first I thought was a bad dent. The car reminded me of some Detroit cars from the 70's and 80's. I mean, it's nothing compared to a Model S. I agree 100% about button overload.

Sadly you didn't make a range test on a german autobahn. This car has a gearbox so it would be really interesting to see how it affects the range while driving 200km/h.
Why would anyone throw away money on buying an electric vehicle today. We are still in the early stages and this is technology is changing so rapidly. In 3 to 6 years the range will probably double or triple.
I don’t understand why manufacturers put gloss black on the interior in modern cars. No one wants it. It’s just poinless and imo just looks cheap. Cheap to produce? Or whats the point? Lazy design perhaps.
If you've still got it, does the E-tron GT have an actual 'Range Mode'? I've got an E-tron 50 and have the same efficiency, dynamic, comfort etc shown in your video but if you go into the MMI, 'Car' and then 'Vehicle Information' there is an actual 'Range Mode' button. Not sure what effect it has 'other than limiting acceleration and top speed to 55mph (88.5kmph). Be interested to know if the GT has a range mode and what effect it has on the test you've done in this video!
I think the interior of the e-tron GT looks terrible, it looks like somebody has taped the screens to the dashboard, and also the fingerprints are so visible, why won't they make a solution for that? They should've make it smarter for that price.
I was really impressed with the charging speed, it's so much higher than Tesla! Charging from 10% to 80% in this one just leaves Tesla far behind, while I was thinking Tesla has most experience in this, so they would stay number 1, but seems like they lost it already.... Maybe the new model S/X will be able to charge faster?

Ouhhh... Gran Turismo is my favourite type of car (aka a sporty sedan type for travelling); if possible I'll also take it as a big coupé. Unfortunately, the world (and dog) only builds SUVs this times. 😭😭 Well, Audi GT is not my budget but if Audi ever builds an electric Audi A5 Coupé than I'll know what to get. Oh - and forget Be Em Wee i4: Kidney cancer.
E-tron GT vs Taycan: -Steering feel is better in the Taycan. The Audi’s steering is too light. -Suspension is more refined and more planted in the Taycan. The Audi is too soft for my liking. -The interior is more intuitive in the Taycan, especially the drive mode select wheel is way better in the Porsche located on the steering wheel, than down on the console as in the Audi. -Cooler Sport sound in the Taycan and less noisy cabin in general. Looks: I find the Audi’s styling a bit fuzzy, more suited young people’s tastes. The Porsche is more understated and will age better.
I personnaly do not like the break in the design from the front of the car (the line with the air opening and the front doors). This car is around 115000€ in that version with a few options. This will directly compete with the Model S Plaid and it will be detroyed by the Model S Plaid in every technical aspects. Overall a nice car but way overpriced in my opinion, I love Audi, I've been a Audi owner for 20 years before switching to Tesla Model S but I will never put that amount of money for that car.
Glossy materials and lots of buttons an gaps in between. attracts dust particles, fingerprints and microscratches. Smart design and marketing to make your car look old and used in one year. so you want to buy a new one.

M3p faster, both straight forward and around the track. Almost 600km of range. Alot lighter and fun to drive. Sorry, but every silly person who byes the Audi must be crazy! 500000+++ NOK more than a M3p…. 🙈😂
For me it’s about bang for the buck also. I spent alot on my 2020 Volvo, but as a second car? No way😂 Bought a M3sr+. Can’t wait. When considering an electric vehicle I want it to be reasonable. I spend my money on regular cars that takes me where I want exactly when i want😉

Some people like piano black. A lot of manufacturers use it. I don’t care for it even when it’s clean. Audi offers other options. Simple.

Even though the i3 tires are half the width, the e-tron uses less energy on autobahn than i3. That box of a car is so bad at efficiency.
