  • Welcome to my new series I'm calling "Midday Movement" ! Quick sessions you can do in the middle of your day to help get the blood flowing, increase motivation, help posture, etc! Today's video is a quick stretch you can do AT YOUR DESK using an office chair. We're working on relieving tension, and reversing that hunch back!

    I’m in love with this idea!!!!!! I sit all day at work, feeling like I’m tied to my chair seeing emails flying in that need quick responses. This is going to make my hips shoulders and neck so much happier. I’m here for this series lol!

    I keep my dumbbells near my chair and do siting arm shoulder stuff throughout the day. I learned recently how static holds and slow release builds better than contraction. Maybe that’s a topic to explore?

    Thank you for this! As someone with ADHD who needs a boost of motivation about halfway through my day, but often times gets completely sidetracked if I get up and do a full workout, this is exactly what I need to stretch things out and get my mind focused again without getting up, going to my mat to workout, and then possibly going on a million side quests before I get back to my work lol

    Would love to see more of these midday movement videos especially for us desk bound office workers. Would love to see more of this series incorporate ways to stretch out our hip flexors and hamstrings :)

    This is so much needed as every single person sitting in office needs it. So happy to see people still stick to basics when it comes to less time and healthy life . We are also working on the motive to stick to our basic traditional mudgar practice @mudgar club and we also want to reintroduce this practice to today’s generation so that they will be holding our tradition ,please visit once and and give your views about our traditional practice 🙏🏼

    Saw this after a day of yard work that left me too tired to do a(nother) work out. Was great to do while catching up on the news. I very much needed this stretch and to rehydrate after my day. Love all the MadFit vids that I've seen so far.

    I very much love this idea! And I personally think a great stretch that you can put in this series is one where you're sitting with your back against the chair and you grab your hands together at the back of the chair, it helps open up the chest and get rid of any anxiety that can live in the chest and shoulders.😊

    Very specific request but I would love a glute workout that is slow and focuses on activating the glutes for those of us who have a hard time with quad dominance/anterior pelvic tilts! Love you Maddie! 💕

      That's a good idea for this series! Sitting stretches out your glutes and causes them to deactivate, which is one of the things that can affect a pelvic tilt. A glute activation routine would fit right in with this series, and also double as a good warm-up before leg day!

    LOVE IT! I play games a lot and would love some more desk workouts/stretches so I can keep moving while gaming cause sometimes the 30-40 min workouts don't feel like enough.

    So each workout cycle I pick a 5 to 10 mins stretch or quick yoga session to do before bed each night. It's been months I could be bothered to actually do them at all, but this one I've done three times this week which I feel is not too bad. Thank you!
