Kinda funny how Maul’s single bladed lightsaber looks like the same one that Obi wan uses
Kinda wanted to see that side of maul's skill and the way he could've intertwined his single saber skills with his aggressive style, whilst only using the double blade for 2v1's / multiple opponents.

@@nonsuspiciouscolour a force enhanced weapon can withstand lightsaber strikes, some Jedi used regular wooden staffs that they eventually enhanced through the force and they could still beat their enemies with lightsabers with ease (depending on the Jedi)

Because of that knowledge, he stunned Maul by whacking him with the stick and used that split second timing to disarm and defeat him.
A true jedi doesn't rely on their saber.

@@Atlas-x2rMaul is a genius. Hes absolutley brilliant in long term and short term battle tactics. Very creative when facing a problem with either the force or his own mind. Maul only really had one flaw, it was his ego in combat. He knew he was the man so over aggressive due to thinking no one except sidious could best him.
