Does this have Auto Switch Plus? Does it skip the tizen os and go straight into the PS5 menu after it power on? Please answer this question for me it's very important.
"This is not just G-Sync compatibility, this is G-Sync." This is, in fact, just G-Sync compatibility, as the monitor doesn't have an actual physical G-Sync module, which is the requirement for real G-Sync. Also, it's not a Samsung panel, it's an Innolux panel.
Hi. I'm struggling with auto sleep mode on this monitor. After a bunch of seconds of no activity the monitor turns off and when I turn it back on a lot of times it can't recognize anymore my PC (NVIDIA 4070 ti - Original Display port cable of the monitor)... so the only solution is to shut my PC down and restart everytime. Any solutions or tips about how to disable it or solve the issue? I tried disabling every energy saving setting (also monitor auto shut down set as never) but didn't find any option for auto sleep mode. Just hate it! Anyone with same issue? Any advice?

@@BREAKINGNECKS23 I am planning on buying a 32" 144hz monitor this summer. Could you please inform me if there is a firmware fix to the screen blackout issue (reports indicate it occurs when VRR is enabled) for the G70B ? If there is no firmware fix I'm going to choose the M32U instead.
@@naturesown4489 Hey, I’ve been having the same issue I just bought one and it’s been frustrating. Just wondering when you say disable VRR is that through the ps5 or the actual monitor. Also does it have anything to do with the actual adaptive sync aswell?
@@Ali-sf2xu Hey, so I have one now too, and I haven't used PS5 on it, but you would want to disable VRR through the monitor itself, because then it won't even be available on the playstation menu. It seems to be an issue with HDR and VRR enabled at the same time, as it happens on PC also. However, it only it short interludes every now and then, and for me, it's worth it to keep the VRR on. I think the colours on this monitor are beautiful and love the features, and VRR is a must for me, as is HDR. But you can disable VRR if you'd like to get rid of it. In the meantime, we should hound Samsung for a firmware update.
@@pontageek Neither...I would have bought M32U , but I got good price for Gigabyte Aorus FI32U for 50 € more than M32U. I am very happy with it, screen is perfect for everything.
I have this monitor for about a week and I'm having issues with it. First off at 60hz or 144hz there is insane pixel walking on certain test images, it just isn't a stable image. On 120hz setting, this issue doesn't occur, but the color settings change at that refresh rate unless I manually set it to RGB 10 bit full in nvidia control panel. Then recently it has started going black and coming back on randomly throughout my gaming session or general usage of it. So far my only fix is to turn it off, unplug it for 10 seconds, then turn it back on and it doesn't do it again until it goes into sleep mode. When it wakes back up, if i don't fully power cycle it, i have that issue again.
Nvidia's G-sync compatibility table has this monitor listed as G-Sync compatible, which is not "full G-sync" as stated in the review. It also lists the min VRR refresh as 80Hz which is terrible.
It means there's no native VRR below this refresh rate. Instead (in software) the driver will repeat frames to get above 80 and then do gsync on that sequence. It's definitely not the same as native gsync support down to 1 Hz and will result in some temporal strobing.
Hello Los, I am looking forward to get a monitor and I stopped on this model, Samsung Odyssey G7 (which in my country is called LS32BG700EUXEN, I hope is the same) and the Corsair XENEON 32UHD144, what do you think I should choose? I really hope this message gets to you cause I want to order soon. Thank you in advance! Peace.

Other then this confusion the monitor it self is crystal clear and very smooth, i'm confused about the settings menu though, this is the first YT vid I see with the same settings menu as mine, everybody else got a different mini menu, samsung is so weird not gonna lie.
It says G70B but it's 28 inch i'm so confused, also mine says G Sync compatible in the nvidia control panel, not real G Sync Sooooo weird, anybody got an explanation?
The G70B is the newer version of the monitor. They probably just had it listed wrong. I just bought a G70B for around the same price and it was listed as G70B. How do you like it? Do you have any issues with it?
Hi, Quick question, i am thinking of getting one but my question is will the monitor detect my xbox series x when i turn on my console or ill have to configure the input from the monitor?
Just found out this is the same screen i found at the same price as the M32U - which one would you choose between those? The LG is double the price here unfortunately.
Reviews of this panel indicate a lot of screen black out issues when VRR is enabled, for me that would be a deal breaker. Regular (non smart) Samsung monitors don't have this issue so it appears their Smart TV OS is to blame here. On Amazon I saw a lot of people complaining about issues with dual monitor setups as well. These are all software related problems so they may be fixed with a firmware update but I wouldn't bet on it. The M32U is a safer bet as long as you are not using it with a PS5. The most glaring issue with the M32U is that the HDMI ports do not support full 48Gbps bandwidth. It only affects PS5 use cause PS5 doesn't support DSC (older gfx cards don't either but you wouldn't be hooking up an old gfx card to a 144hz 4k monitor anyway). I'm not exactly sure if the Samsung is using the same Innolux panel as the M32U ? The G70B has better DCI-P3 coverage so it may be a newer version of that Innolux panel which is 2 years old by now... Not many pro reviews out for the G70B yet.
@@gencoserpen1260 Really appreciate this reply a lot - Think i'll simply go with the M32U then as i have no PS5 anyways hehe. I have the Asus Geforce RTX 3060 12GB TUF - shouldnt that be fine? This monitor drops down to $799 at Amazon a lot (it is today as well) but I would still not even buy it at this price point. Also, you really got to watch pricing at Amazon because they play with pricing a LOT and sometimes will only leave it on sell for less then 12 hours. A tip: I put things I am interested in into my cart and then move them to "save for later" and I can simply watch their pricing in that save for later portion of the cart.
I bought this for my ps5 and i dont know how to get it above 60hz and put on vrr, there is no option for it and the gaming barr always shows both as ive said.

Hey! Is this monitor suitable for working more than 8 hours a day? CAD and coding.
Any advice?
How does this model, in 28inch variant compare to the Xiaomi G PRO 27i?
When price is not the think which should I take lg gp950 or the Samsung g70a or 70b idk
but LG GQ950 isn't a true HDR panel, it's only edge backlight enabled panel , but samsung g7 is a full array enabled HDR display.

Anyone fancy sharing their settings?

@@BREAKINGNECKS23 I am planning on buying a 32" 144hz monitor this summer. Could you please inform me if there is a firmware fix to the screen blackout issue (reports indicate it occurs when VRR is enabled) for the G70B ? If there is no firmware fix I'm going to choose the M32U instead.
@@gencoserpen1260 Apparently it's an issue with VRR. You can disable it or there may be a firmware update now.
Bought this on a black friday deal for $250 I'm very happy with it
Looking at one right now same deal think I’m gonna buy it
The 28 inch model has also the Matte Hybrid Glossy panel?
I got this monitor, I noticed it caps at 120hz if you turn adaptive sync off... weird
How do you do that on the G70B?
Hello. This one or Gigabyte M32U ? Primarily regarding picture quality, casual gaming and office work. Some picture editing. Thank you.
I'm debating the same thing. Which one do you get in the end?
@@pontageek Neither...I would have bought M32U , but I got good price for Gigabyte Aorus FI32U for 50 € more than M32U. I am very happy with it, screen is perfect for everything.
@@libertalian_8415 ah i see. Maybe i should wait for a better at least more option...
What is your 110% pick? Like you would pick no matter what?
You got any best settings? For it? Or do you think standard stock from samsung is well optimized?
Nvidia's G-sync compatibility table has this monitor listed as G-Sync compatible, which is not "full G-sync" as stated in the review. It also lists the min VRR refresh as 80Hz which is terrible.
Can you explain what the 80Hz min VRR means pls
It means there's no native VRR below this refresh rate. Instead (in software) the driver will repeat frames to get above 80 and then do gsync on that sequence. It's definitely not the same as native gsync support down to 1 Hz and will result in some temporal strobing.
i only see the LS28AG700N version on the g-sync site with a VRR from 44 to 144. where did you find the monitor in the video?
The review is wrong in many aspects, not just that. Worst review ever.
is it not full G-SYNC? where can I find a full G-SYNC monitor?
can you please inform how is this for Coding/programming? how to keep staring for hours over the texts ?
in my region i got it for 460$ brand new, I wish i can get the lg but its almost double its price do you think I did the right choice ?
Hello Los, I am looking forward to get a monitor and I stopped on this model, Samsung Odyssey G7 (which in my country is called LS32BG700EUXEN, I hope is the same) and the Corsair XENEON 32UHD144, what do you think I should choose? I really hope this message gets to you cause I want to order soon. Thank you in advance! Peace.

Did you experience any significant monitor recognition delays on boot up or random flicking black during games? I've heard many people have these problems
have you found a fix for the flickering durring game mode?
@@happytown5 I didn't have the monitor then (when I asked the question) but do now. Honestly have not noticed any flickering when playing games at all.

I have a question I bought this monitor, but as soon as I turn it on, it turns on all of the consuls in the house. How do I fix that?
Can you use the g70b with a nvidia gpu? My adrenaline says only „adaptive sync“ where it should say free sync premium pro
Samsung is so weird, i ordered a G70A 28 inch for 420eu from the official samsung website, but when I look at the model number on the back it says G70B, and on PC connected with a VESA Certified DisplayPort Cable it also says G70B, i'm so confused by all of this, i'm going to contact Samsung about this to be sure I have all the features i researched for.
Other then this confusion the monitor it self is crystal clear and very smooth, i'm confused about the settings menu though, this is the first YT vid I see with the same settings menu as mine, everybody else got a different mini menu, samsung is so weird not gonna lie.
It says G70B but it's 28 inch i'm so confused, also mine says G Sync compatible in the nvidia control panel, not real G Sync
Sooooo weird, anybody got an explanation?
The G70B is the newer version of the monitor. They probably just had it listed wrong. I just bought a G70B for around the same price and it was listed as G70B.
How do you like it? Do you have any issues with it?
Hi, Quick question, i am thinking of getting one but my question is will the monitor detect my xbox series x when i turn on my console or ill have to configure the input from the monitor?
how are you with this monitor on xbox series x?
i am thinking of buying it
I would like to use this for productivity as well, can I improve the text performance?
Its not really for gaming in 4K it is mostly for movies, youtube and daily work but want everything to run it smooth anyways ofc
I love media consumption just as much as gaming on my Xbox series x. I also don’t have any pc speakers only aux or Bluetooth speakers. So today in 2024 should I go with the neo g8? Or the g70b with the os and Bluetooth?
I've just got this 32" monitor on sale in Thailand for 504 USD. Is that bang for the bugs?
I just bought it around 480usd converted from MYR. Samsung shop had massive discount now plus i got additional 10% for first time buyer which is worth it then getting LG 950 ( $800-900). I wish i had more budget to get mini led like GN70C but that thing also is too big 43". Overall I'm very satisfied using it for my laptop and xbox series x. Now only i appreciate the 4k games. It looks gorgeous details compare to my previous monitor 29" Ultrawide FHD 😂
Hello very late but how did you Calibrate the colors what are your settings on?
This monitor does not have the Samsung Gaming Hub like the G6 that is shown in the vídeo, right?
gaming hub in only the European countries and USA
This monitor drops down to $799 at Amazon a lot (it is today as well) but I would still not even buy it at this price point. Also, you really got to watch pricing at Amazon because they play with pricing a LOT and sometimes will only leave it on sell for less then 12 hours. A tip: I put things I am interested in into my cart and then move them to "save for later" and I can simply watch their pricing in that save for later portion of the cart.

In my specific circumstance the LG one is $900 more than the Samsung one, and the Samsung one is only $800, so it's an obvious choice for me. I do really wish I could have that HDR but $1700 is far too much for me
This was a really thourough review, detailed and down to the point. Now, the price for the LG in Norway is at around $1500. I did think of getting the LG but after seeing a $600 price difference I went for the G7.

@@DeFacto1991 I unpacked the G7 last night, and was quite satisfied with it overall. You got to tweak some settings to optimalise it. How is the monitor with Xbox series x? I own odessy g50a and i want a good 4k monitor for my Xbox series x, but it seems this monitor (g70b) is somehow dark and the colours not strong, any recommendations?
I have this monitor in 28 and the more I use it the more I like it. The colors are really good. As long as you have the remote to the monitor it's a breeze to use the menu settings.
I'm not a monitor expert by any means, but the fact that I can get 120hz on my series x is a plus for me.
The things I hate about my monitor is the support stand and you have to break your neck to hook cables into the back of the monitor, but I just tilt the monitor. The cable connector layout could be better.
