@@k55g Aside from an OLED you really wont get much better. I had a 27" LG Ultrafine 4K that had worse black levels. And a 32" LG ultragear VA panel that had horrible color, White was yellow tinted... If you are worried about black levels, I would go with an OLED, If you cant spend $800 on one then get a VA panel but then you will get black smearing and lose the vibrant colors. Im very happy with the monitor and the blacks are perfectly fine for what I do with it.

You mention at 9:23 that this limits the number of monitor I can have on one graphics card down to three. What do you mean by "it uses two internal heads"? Do you mean that I have to connect two cables from the monitor to the graphics card for 144hz?

Hi, but the DSR function cannot be used with it, because the Display port is not available in game mode. so it is not fully recognized by Nvidia and not all functions can be used. This is a design flaw that Samsung could fix in software if they wanted to...

The LG32GQ950 has better image quality. Keep in mind that the LG is $300 more so it’s to be expected. A similar comparison would be the Samsung Neo G7, but then again that one has a curved screen. I’ll eventually review that one as well. But I still think the Samsung G70B is better value, but if you want better, than the LG 32GQ950 is better but pricier.

That's a little tough to choose, since I prefer the quality of OLED technology over IPS despite the cons. But at the same time, the 4K resolution of the G7 makes it a better experience all around. If I only could have 1 monitor on my setup, than I would choose the G7, simply because of the higher resolution and larger display. I can't wait to start seeing 4K OLED monitors
Do you know what version of the SAMSUNG Odyssey GLS32BG702EIXUA is exactly? I can't find reviews for the version with the same name 702EIXUA, not even on Samsung's website or Rtings. On the site of the city shop writes specifications: 4K 144 hertz, Qled, but I have not seen anywhere except two shops model with the name 702EIXUA and that there was QLED, I saw QLED only on the Odyssey 2K 240 hertz and it confuses me, maybe the shop something mixed up
I think that model may be for a different region. I tried searching up : LS32BG702EIXUA and I've found results that match that model, but in a different language and region.
He said the speakers aren't that great and I can say that is not true. The speakers sounds wonderful, yes it doesn't have much base but for a monitor speaker they sound wonderful.

As long as you're using an HDMI 2.1 Cable, it will say under "Video Output Info" 4K @ 60Hz with VRR supported from 48-120Hz. It usually shows 60Hz because the PS5 menu runs at the rate. But in game you'll be fine

Damn, I remember one of those plastic covers was hard to remove on another odyssey monitor. Try moving it around and use more strength to try to separate it. Hope you get it out !

This is more expensive than the Asus 27" OLED (PG27AQDM) Looking it up the Asus has better colors, contrast, refresh rate, HDR, viewing angles, build quality, Quality control, response time, warranty and pretty much everything else except for it being slightly bigger and higher resolution. I just dont understand what makes this the same price as the OLED?
Its tough to answer since I didn't have them side-by-side. I just know they both had great black color details and it could also depend on your personal preference
I just bought g7 LS32BG700EE, is it same? What your hdr setting? When i set hdr mapping on, it’s washed out and to bright for me. I’m looking for ps5 set up
Don't forget to calibrate HDR on your ps5 too. That said. Generally if you don't have at least 800/1000 nits brightness HDR is not worth it. sdr is better at that point.

In my case, I wouldn't spend 900 bucks in an oled non 4K right now, when I can wait and get a 4K Oled top of the class in a few months. I'm building a PC for 4kish aprox, that will make sense to have such a monitor later on.

The LG 27 OLED is 11.1 lbs without the stand, to me that’s lightweight. And I wouldn’t title “sponsored overview/unboxing” because they are not sponsored, if they were I’d mention the monitor/product being sent to me. It depends what you're connecting. The PS5 would show 4K 60Hz but with support for VRR and 120Hz. If its a PC or Mac, I would check the cable you're using
Seems like the Dell G3223Q 4K monitor looks better than this. Specs are almost identical except for Dell's HDR600 vs G70Bs HDR400. But the purpose of this monitor is if you need a gaming monitor and a smart TV all in one package. However if you update into Dell's latest firmware, it will allow the HDR white point override which improves the HDR600 brightness even more.

The LG32GQ950 has better image quality. Keep in mind that the LG is $300 more so it’s to be expected. A similar comparison would be the Samsung Neo G7, but then again that one has a curved screen. No I haven’t. You could always try to update the firmware if it’s available, or change the cable you use. Sometimes that fixes the issue

If you’re looking at the video output info, it’ll show 60Hz since the menu is outputting that frequency. 120 would be enabled depending on the game

Yes they have the same specs. The benefit of going with smaller 28-inch is higher PPI which would look sharper 🔥
Id rather wait a bit to see what 2024 has in store. 4K oled on the horizon and maybe, even with glossy or semi glossy screens.
