Bought this to have my personal laptop and work laptop to switch between with the kvm and then 4k 120hz gaming with my xbox series s. No regrets so far it’s done very well at everything I’ve thrown at it
Make a tier list of all the monitors you have reviewed and keep adding new monitors to that list everytime you review another monitor. Love the vids

Wow, unbelievably detailed as usual. I've been so torn looking for a good 4K gaming monitor that I can edit my TH-cam videos on, play 4K PC games on, and toss a console to for occasional console play. I just picked one up using your link - but one small question about the KVM. Does it switch only between the two PC/Mac inputs, or does it switch between the xbox as well (like a single button input switcher?)... oops, one other question since I couldn't find it - can you hotkey the KVM to a keyboard sequence? Thanks so much!

Ah of course top of my buying criteria is how crisp the text for the folder icons on my desktop look. I'm sold .
Just recently received my M32U and it's a fantastic gaming monitor. Easy to set up and fantastic graphics. My gaming PC uses a AMD 6800XT, and I can easily game in 4K with high frame rate via DP, and it syncs perfect with FreeSync. I"ve currently got a a PS4 that I plan on hooking up to it also, and I love the KVM for hooking up two PC's. Highly recommend.
theres the 28u version it seems similar compare the two are they same only diffrent is size i am right or wrong ?
When I got this monitor the HDR was pretty sub par but I swear it’s gotten better after multiple firmware updates. I might be crazy

Hey nice video, what would you recommend getting for a gaming monitor mainly going to be played in a dark room with led strips around the top? Not necessarily a bright room but not dark at all. Would you recommend the lg 950 or this? Thanks.

Great review and I've just received same monitor today and I really like how yours looks but do you have HDR enabled on xbox series x settings as I've just watched another review on the M32U and the guy opened up alot more settings like fps mode by turning off HDR on the console.
Also is there a reason why you have freesync premium pro off.

Good review, yeah it just seems like the most well rounded 32 in monitors on the market. For someone who specifically wants a 32 in monitor at 4K 144hz, it's honestly hard to really find anything much better than this monitor without a ton of compromises or with a much greater price hike. Like I wouldn't mind going for that Samsung G7 monitor, but I just can't really do VA panel ghosting and flickering at lower FPS. Hope we can eventually get more 32 in 4K monitors with the feature set/specs of the Alienware 34 ultra wide monitor at that same price point one of these days lol.

I got one of these and returned it because the white point in sRGB mode is really green. (Replaced with a Cooler Master GP27U which was a huge step up) How did you check the color accuracy?
It looks like the best option on the market. i looked specifically for curved and 4K option, around 27"-32"
If a monitor has freesync premium pro and is g sync compatible, like this particular monitor, does that mean it can run both g sync and HDR at the same time?

@@Anthony-wn8gn bigger screen size, about 50 nits brighter, can display more colors, can swivel and portrait mode, and has 10bit instead of 8 for the M28U.

So I’m confused…new to pc gaming and currently in the process of upgrading to 4090 coming from an amd build equivalent to 3060. I’m Use to Tvs being more straightforward so I apologize for the rest of my question if it seems stupid or wateva, so with that being said, I’ve looked at the link to this monitor and there’s a lot of conflicting answers as to if this monitor is in fact 4k, let alone 120 fps on both ps5 and XBSX at 4K. I was interested in this monitor after the video but after reading the comments on Amazon I’m left scratching my head. I originally planned on getting the Sony Inzone monitor. Should I just go with the inzone?
I’ve been on the LG 34gp83a for the last 18 months. Just received the M32U yesterday and I LOVE it! Huge difference in picture quality and very smooth. I went with the M32U until more flat qd-oled or mini led 32” with more than 1000 dimming zones are available. But for now this is awesome!
Yes it can't come soon enough! Tried the 42" LG C2 but imo it is just too big for desktop use.

Just sent in an order for 3 of these for my sim racing rig they have a massive 300$ rebate in Canada. So under 3K for 3 after tx for 4k 32" is hard to pass up.

Hmm, funny, on my monitor, the "AMD Freesync Premium PRO" setting is OFF no matter if I set it to enable or disable. Firmware F10, nvidia videocard though. Still , I recall that I saw it ON at a point in time ...

Are you able to adjust the position of the crosshair? In another review they stated that it cannot be moved up\down\L\R.
No, but you can make your own crosshairs, so you can just make one that is moved slightly to either side or up

When I start my Playstation, there is sporadically no picture. .Even if I select HDMI1, nothing happens at first. It only helps when I switch to HDMI2 and back to HDMI1. Is anyone having the same problem?

im mostly single player guy right now rarely i play a competitive multiplayer game like cod halo and fornite as right now i only play story mode of game and i dont know if this monitor for me im mostly looking monitor produce amazing color accuracy and 4k run smootlhy and look amazing when im passing a story in game and you know looking around while passing story to impress me while doing it !

Is the screen matte or glossy finish?
Someone said there’s a problem with the HDMI making it not 4k on console, can someone confirm if that’s true and tell me why?
I originally bought the 42" LG C2 but imo it is too big for desktop. Unless you are 40" away from your screen it is overkill. I cannot wait until a 32" OLED is inevitably released. I know Alienware has a 34" but not a fan of ultrawide. I switched to this m32u in the meantime.
What is your experience with it?
Hey Nicholas just bought a c2 same 42 and I am in the same boat I want to pick up this one tomorrow to compare. I was impressed by the c2 but I literally have a 65inch c1 on the wall right next to my set up. So just wondering if you have enjoyed your experience with this monitor.

would you say your LG is much better is worth the money and getting it even with no warranty?
@@3meir yes my friend definitely wait for the C2 if you care about clarity and picture quality. Blows it out of the water. I paid $1400 for mine when it first launched. I have seen it as low as $799 at micro center as well as Best Buy. Just keep checking and the warranty is normally an additional $150.
Also remember this is considered top tier as most would be fine with 1080, or 1440 but if you want 4k this is the way to go. Your eyes adjust to the bigger screen in no time.

Hi!How does it look if you downscale resolution to 1440 or 1080?
I am going to use it with PS5 (4k and 1440) and laptop (1080)
On PS5, just set it to 4k and don't change it, there's no reason to use 1440p on a 4k monitor on PS5 - there's no performance gain in games (on PS5, it doesn't work like it does on PC where lowering resolution improves your performance) and you're only making your image less sharp than it could be.
How's this compared to the LG GP950?

Hey man, I am looking at getting this monitor or the Acer Predator XB283K (28in) you reviewed. I am coming from a 1080 screen, so either will be a big change. I game and do work on my PC. This larger screen of the Gigabyte M32U is only 70 dollars more today for cyber monday. What is your choice between the two? Thanks!
Definitely going to be a huge upgrade! Personally between the two, taking into account the current pricing, I’d take the larger M32U, but I absolutely love 32 inch 4K monitors, both are great. Hope this helps!

I just got the gigabyte m32uc version of this monitor only difference is mine is curved! Sadly there’s only like 2 reviews on TH-cam which is crazy to me! If possible can you do a review for the curved version of this monitor?
Actually they are very different. This one is ips the cu is VA which had much higher contrast and deeper blacks but it has some drawbacks too
I got the M32UC aswell and ive also been looking for reviews.. i like it but i would like more experts to take a look at it.
Being that this monitor is labeled 4k but has a limited 24Gbps bandwidth, is it enough to display good 4k quality? I know it uses some sort of compression but will it be the same as using a full 48Gbps bandwidth monitor?
24gbps on 2.1 ports display port is full bandwidth

if your using t for console. its capped at 32 anyway for ps5chroma sub sample to 4:2:0 and 4:2:2, but for xbox its 48

I am trying to choose between M32U, M32UC and M28U. Mostly, I would like to try a curved monitor, but I didn't see many videos about that monitor. In my country the M28U is 500 euros, the M32UC is 640 euros and the M32U is around 700 euros. What do you say?
I mostly play games with story: RDR 2, GTA V, The Last of Us etc.
And I often play PUBG.
For FPS games, I think a smaller screen is better because you don't have to move your eyes so much. But for story games, I think the 32 inch would be better.
My GPU is 4070ti. In future when the GPU will get old, I will need to put the resolution at 2K.
I don't think that 4K on 28 inch is so good, but also 2K on 32 inch isn't as good as 2K on 28 inch.
What would be your advice?

@@TheWeirdo1991 hello. It really just comes down to design and style, the only difference I can tell is the LED lights behind the monitor although the LG is a nicer looking monitor, the picture and quality is the same on both monitors. I went with the Gigabyte because It’s cheaper and its AWESOME.

Depending on what you prefer I personally am OK with 144-165 hz I play COD and I still play for my 2.40 kd on warzone i feel no difference pass 150fps, if you wanna have the solid wuality of 4k (have in mint most games are made for either 1080 or 4k, 1440 is basically an upscale 1080p, I would go with 4k 144 any day, I used to play on a G7 now I have this same monitor and an LG TV and have no regrets.
I can't decide between this and Samsung Odyssey G7 LC32G75TQSRXXU.
A lot of people have complained about black screens and coil whine from the monitor. Have you had any of these issues?
