    I would love to buy this specific LUT you're using on this video.

    • @itmeremy
      @itmeremy  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@audioarkitekts that's probably something I could organise, but I've never really considered selling LUTs since I don't do anything special with my grading. You could quite easily make your own to be very similar by using the same steps I did in this video.
      But I might consider making and selling LUTs if people are genuinely interested

    This is insanely useful. Thanks man! Keep these coming.
    Edit: You should be able to clone an edit by being in your unedited footage and middle clicking the edited footage under Clips.
    Also I think almost everything you said applies for the FX3 and the A7RIII

    • @itmeremy
      @itmeremy  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, there are a few different easy to copy grades. And yeah, I think all the SLOG stuff should apply to any camera that shoots SLOG3, and all the cine EI stuff should work for at least the FX3, maybe the higher end ones too but I've heard that works a little different, but mostly the same

    • @itmeremy
      @itmeremy  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For the main shot I think I used the Rode NTG1 straight into the XLR handle from my FX30 but on the a7IV. Maybe I used the Rode Wireless Go II but I'm pretty sure it was the NTG1. For the other shot where you can see the mic, that's a Rode XCM50 plugged straight into my computer since it's a USB mic

    I have the fx3 bought a year ago and it was a pain to understand Cine EI and honestly i still cant do it without a monitor or my false color monitoring lut 😅

    • @itmeremy
      @itmeremy  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Fair enough, it's not the easiest thing to use

  • @RandyRocha

    Is there a lut that I could use for the Cine EI. I used a regular slog 3 lut but some how the footage was so dark... Also when filming cine EI in general my image is not as flat as my Sony's a7IV slog 3. Is that normal. Could you maybe help?

    • @itmeremy
      @itmeremy  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Cine EI is still Slog3, it's just a way of exposing, rather than using ISO like normal. There shouldn't be any differences between the 2 if they are exposed the same.
      When it comes to exposing with cine EI, you can change between the 2 bases yo change exposure, but changing the ISO outside of that won't change the actual exposure, it'll just shift the dynamic range up or down to prioritise highlights or shadows more.
      It sounds like you're just underexposing with cine EI, but not with your a7IV

      @@itmeremy thanks for replying man. Appreciate it. Yes, that’s what I thought, but I really don’t get why it’s not as flat as my other camera though. Somehow it looks like it’s already colored.

    • @itmeremy
      @itmeremy  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @RandyRocha do you have the lut turned on in camera? Because that would make it look already coloured on the screen, but the footage itself should still be in log.
      Turning on cine EI on the FX30 and probably the FX3 as well, turns on log shooting which by default is Slog3/SGamut3.cine

    Can I ask a question to some awesome knowledgeable commenter here? I’m super confused about something….
    I have an FX30. To shoot in log, I understand I how to change it in “log settings,” yada yada yada.
    But what’s the deal with Picture Profile via Exposure menu? Can’t I also shoot in log going this route? When I change to log shooting in log settings, picture profile is greyed out. Is picture profile just so you can plug in an additional monitor? Can someone explain this to me? Sorry for being a dingbat. 🙏🙏

    • @itmeremy
      @itmeremy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @gardengraffiti so on the FX30, log shooting is a setting like you mentioned. In other cameras, SLOG3 is a picture profile. So if you want to shoot in log, you're shooting in log so you don't want/need a picture profile.
      If you wanted to shoot in S-cinetone or something, you'd have to turn off log and then select it as a picture profile.
      With log shooting, picture profile is useless, which is why it's greyed out.
      I hope that explains it

      @Onyxentertainment7539 yeah, I leave it on 5600K no matter what unless I'm going for something specific, and I also have my key light set to 5600K. Basically if you want your key light to look white, set WB to whatever temp the light is

    Is filming in slog 3 and s gamuet3 cini considered recording in log for Sony cameras? If those settings are what I need to be recording in log than that is what I need to know to start recording. Thanks!

    • @itmeremy
      @itmeremy  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, how to do it varies by camera. On a lot of them it's picture profile 8, on the FX cameras, log shooting is just a setting you can turn on
