Comma 3X with SunnyPilot - Highway Drive Demo 🛣️

I demonstrate how the Comma 3X driver assistance system running SunnyPilot works on the highway. I also compare and contrast it with the stock lane follow assist system in my 2023 Kia EV6.
Overall the system is far superior to the stock Hyundai-Kia lane following system, which would cut out without warning. The Comma 3X shows a large screen border around the device which changes colors to let you know when it has control and if it needs you to take over.
SunnyPilot has the key feature of M.A.D.S. - Modified Assistive Driving Safety - which lets you control the speed (acceleration/deceleration) independently of the Comma 3X which will handle only the steering. Stock OpenPilot does not allow this. This makes the Comma 3X with SunnyPilot perfect for driving even on urban highways with lots of traffic or city streets, since you can react smoother than if you used smart cruise control.

Apologies for the delayed response. The Comma 3X works with the following vehicles shown at comma.ai/vehicles
There may be unofficial support for vehicles not on that list as well.

I'm on SunnyPilot dev-c3 branch and have been for several months. It runs stable enough for the most part. I've been using the Certified Reherbalist driving model and that's working great too

Hi, I prefer using the metric system and I also have the units set to metric in my EV6.
