Dude, use your turn signals when changing lanes. That's why the car kept beeping at you. It was the lane keep assist trying to get you to stay in your lane. If you turn the turn signal on before changing lanes it won't beep at you.

This video is so ignorant. You’re not supposed to “check in” by touching the wheel every so often. You’re always supposed to keep hands on the wheel and it’s just constantly screaming at you that it’s going to disengage if you don’t. Jfc. Also turn signals bro wtf.

The only reason it pulls the wheel is because ya'll Don't use any blinkers when getting over. Ya'll the reason folks be in accident! Junp from lane to lane with no common sense.

what about stop and go situation on highway? do you need to subscribe a drive connect service in order to operate the traffic jam situation? or tss 3.0 can stop and go itself 0 to 70 mph without drive connect service?

I feel more relaxed just turning off the radar cruise (hold cruise button 1.5 seconds) and turning off the lane centering and just driving the thing. It's been forty years of driving so far and still no accidents (knock on wood)

It says “HOLD steering wheel”. Not touch it every 15 seconds. I understand taking your hands off the wheel for a second here and there, but to sit here and advertise it as self driving is irresponsible. That is not the point of these driving assist systems. Also you may want to learn how to use blinkers and read the owners manual.

    Eureka!
Not that the two of you are foolhardy like I am but I have investigated and researched and did the hard work; I now know how to bypass the time restrictions, at least for my Rav4, on Lane keeping (tracing). As you may know, if you take you hands off of the steering wheel for longer than about six seconds, the bitch in the box warns you to put your hands back onto the steering wheel and TURNS OFF lane tracing. Solution?
Buy a small plastic bottle of Pom juice (the one that looks like a two ball snow man), drink the juice and then fill the bottle up with tap water. Place the bottle in the three o'clock position of your steering wheel, with the "waist" of the bottle resting on the cross bar. Test it out. It works for my Rav4, from the PA border all the way to I271. Loom mom, no hands. just monitored the lane tracing and traffic to stay safe. BE CAREFULL!!! My lane tracing looses concentration when white lines are weak or turn to black from tar. Only works with GOOD roads.
Kinga will have a "shit" if I tried it with her for any length of time.
