The Lexus GX/Toyota Land Cruiser Prado was name the most reliable SUV on the planet Earth they are the true king of Off Road vehicle that can go on any terrain and take you back. There are no other brand vehicle can say that
Toyota quality and the Land Cruiser is certainly a good big SUV. The Hilux really proves the quality of Toyota, so they are good. But there are some other cars out there that also has some good quality regarding offroad capabilities and more. Would be interesting to do an endurance test of its competitors. Thanks for watching 🙏

The 1958 has the same round headlights as the first edition. It’s the middle “Landcruiser” trim that has rectangular headlights.

Not at all. The round lights look out of place. Everything is rectangular except the lights which are either too big or too small.

The side view design of this Toyota LC Prado is definitely taken from the Toyota Fortuner that is currently marketed in Asia, Middle East, Australia, and Latin America.
A little maybe 😊. I think it the Fortuner more looks like the old LC 150. This new LC has a slightly different design that I like a lot. Thanks for watching 🙏

I'm curious...why? As the owner of a 35 year old F250 with two tanks, it's not much of a feature. I find the added redundancy to come at a larger cost of complexity. 2 gas lines, 2 return lines and a six port electromechanical valve that can fail for any number of reasons. The only advantage for me was the exemption from the evap testing portion of California smog test. Sure, it sounds cool to have dual tanks (it did to me, too). I have to say that I am no longer a proponent. If you desire more range, spec a bigger gas tank (or buy a Jerry Can). Just one man's two opinions.
Unfortunately The spare wheel takes the place of the extra tank on the old Prado 150 which this 250 is the upgrade off
@@j.ashbolt6688 The 250 is on the same TNGA-F platform (chassis) as the LC 300 series, except it’s a bit shorter. The LC 300 has duel tanks as well as the spare under the vehicle. So it’s possible that because the 250 has the same chassis design as the LC 300 series, that they could fit the same duel tanks as the 300 series in the same area of the chassis as the 300 series that is between the front and rear wheels.
@@Mark.AUS. I've owned 4 Prado's over the last 20 years and their best feature was the long range tanks for travelling around Southern Africa, so lets hope they can do it or at least offer it as a retro fit. The current 150 series has the first 90 L tank on the left side between the front and rear wheels and nothing on the right side. Another feature which has been dropped is the air suspension although it my be a good thing as the did go wrong due to our extreme African roads.

Why can't Europe have the option of the USA engine (4-cylinder petrol turbo hybrid)?
It has 326hp and 630Nm. And compared to the turbodiesel, will probably have better MPG and emissions, too?
It would comply with Euro6/7 because in essence it's the engine from the Lexus RX500h, which is on sale in Europe.
What is the reason, Toyota?

I wish we in the USA had the turbo diesel. You get 7 seats and no added complexity of a hybrid.

The way the second row seats fold looks like they planned on having a third row but then later changed their minds. I think they need to rework that folding seat to fold flat.

Any info on the suspension components used for this First Edition?
The only info on the suspension that we were given was that the basic suspension performance has been improved. Mostly to help secure increased wheel articulation which should help in offroad environment.

Is this lc worth getting over current gen 4Runner ?
This one is bigger, more technological and refurbished. The current 4Runner is good but its a bit dated and so is its tech. But you can sure find some great used ones at a good price. Thanks for watching 🙏

I do not think a front locker is going to be available, at least for the first couple years.

I was very interested when I heard the MSRP price point of 55K for the 1958 2024 Landcruiser, but after talking to a few dealers in upstate NY and hearing they will doing dealer mark ups of 5-10K, just because they can, well, it kind of Turned me off to Toyota.
I did some research and I am now going to buy an INEOS Grenadier for 71.5k and it is a true off road vehicle, similar to the Land rovers of old. Check them out, great company , great people. The price you see is the price you pay!

The diesel often works brilliant in these type of SUV's, so less hope you do. But on the other hand, you get that strong hybrid 4-cylinder which we dont and that I find very interesting. Thanks for watching 🙏
