I currently own a JBL gaming headset, and I’m not satisfied with it’s audio quality… I’ve experienced better from Turtle beach, HyperX, Razer, and best of all, Sony

actually Mahindra had a car which was the real rival to the Fortuner.It's called the Alturas G4.But it didn't sell that well in India.

Fortuner being overpriced is the main reason why Scorpio is selling like 18,000+ a month in India thats really high when everyother car with more than 10,000 sales per month is a small car or sub 4 Meter Compact SUV 😊
It's also more valuable even if fortuner were to cost 20 lakh tomorrow
There is another reason, Indians purchasing power rising, and now Creta is second largest selling car, and ertiga and breza is in the list. This means India is shifting towards 10 - 20 lakh onward cars in purchasing and Scorpio fits to the spot.

The Toyota Fortuner is such a status symbol in India that when I first drove it in 2012 I was really underwhelmed I was so disappointed with the interior quality

In SA we rather compare the Scorpio-N against the lower spec 2.4 Fortuner or even a 2nd hand 2.8 Fortuner with high mileage. Even more of a tricky comparison.
Not sure why but the Scorpio-N doesn't really sell well in SA yet. Waiting for sanity to kick in and for people to start buying with their heads rather than their tradition and ego 😂

Just bought a Scorpio Z8L and please keep in mind that the Mahindra doesn't comes with the side steps, they are an option and they are about $880 unfitted.

The quality isn't that great. His car has gone through multiple electrical issues while driving. Charging socket faliure, cruise control disengaging and much more.

It's not a reliable car i was planning to buy a Scorpio N but after hearing it's front wheel dislocation problem and mahindra's bad customer service hence I backed off to buy any Mahindra car, I'm satisfied with my fortuner even though it lacks some modern features...

Here in India, I drove a Mahindra MPV - rear wheel drive for 11 years. Did numerous mumbai - Delhi round trips. Did a 5000 km round trip to the first village on the India - Tibet border driving past mountain passes as high as 15500 feet above sea level. The Mahindra did not give us any trouble even once. Crossed every hurdle amazingly. Was our home for a many days of the trip.
Mahindra vehicles are fantastic and reliable family assets. These Japanese charge a massive premium for their reliable engines on vehicles which give much lesser in terms of features and comfort.
Close your eyes and go for the Mahindra if you want to get massive value for your dollars.

Toyota leather feels cheap because the quality is only 200 rub leather. BMW for example use a 400 rub quality leather.
That number means how many rubs it will take to show wear.
You probably feel more paint finish then leather. My everest is the same as the fortunes.
ADAS 2 would come soon to Scorpio N but in India, it creates more problems than it solves, especially in city conditions on Indian roads. That aside, it already has Global NCAP safety rating of 5 stars. It’s unfortunate that Australia NCAP gave it 0

Great comparison guys! About the leather seats, I think the main reason for faux leather is to keep the costs down and make it more affordable. The SUV has a lot of kit at the price point with 4Wd and off road modes and carplay that some cars still don't get standard.

As an Indian..... I'd say we have plenty of mafia cars over the generations..... But i wouldn't say fortuner is one of them...... Fortuner is more of a neta vehicle...... In Thailand and Philippines and in India the Fortuner sells quite a lot mostly because there isn't quite a competition for this segment of cars which offers the Fortuner like running cost in long run (less resort repair costs) and in the context of the youtuber that there are more better off-roaders in our world actually doesn't mean that there are better off roaders in those developing markets such as Thailand, Philippines & India there are not many better options than the Fortuner in these countries except for India which has the Mahindra Scorpio.

Though I'm Indian but I own Toyota Fortuner. I actually prefer Toyota or Thar rather than Scorpio when it comes to SUV.
So maintainence , parts , enginer oil, fliter , fuel etc after running 100,000 miles. Diesel or Petrol ScorpioN is more value for money.

I hate ENCAP and ANCAP for this reason, they create unnecessarily strict norms. But what’s more worse is that a lot of people just look at the overall score and immediately judge without digging deep into what made it achieve that score.

Scorpio n doesn't have many cup holders because here wont drink coffee or tea in large paper cups like in west. we stop drink and move on. we needed water bottle storages and it has them..designed for india.❤
In india we get 2.0 petrol scorpio n with 200 bhp and 400 nm torque...which gives better perfomance than deisel

I own fortuner 2017 and Scorpio N 2023. Mahindra is way way more refined compared to the fortuner.
