This is a really good video! I put MUOS on my RG35XXSP and its freaking great. But I can play freaking Stardew Valley on this thing! And every retro game until ps1. That's what surprised me the most. Because I saw Retro Game Corp play it on his and I thought it was so cool. The custom firmware these guys put out is amazing and I wish I was smart enough to do that 😂 *edit got ds emulation to work! Just refreshed the image, and bam, it was working.
Thanks for the tutorial! I really want to try muOS but I’ll probably wait a few months before switching. For my use case, haven’t had any issues with the stock OS. Battery life is great and I’m only playing 1 game at a time

Have they figured out the sleep mode and do they have audio out for the hdmi? I am running batocera lite on mine and those things are not working right as of now. I would be up for changing to muos if they handle these better
If they can make it autosave the game and then power down into some kind of sleep mode when the magnets are activated, that would be perfect. saving configs in game works fine for me in Retroarch, you just gotta be careful whether you are saving per game/core/directory and some options are saved via overides

Is there any way of closing ds games without pressing the reset button, I played one of the DS game and found out there no option of exiting the game/back to main menu options.
Mine arrived today. Not sure if I should use this or keep to stock. I have thought about knulli as I'm familiar with batocera but have heard it's not great for low powered devices. Probably need to get a new SD card as I've only got 2 64gbs or one 512 spare. Great video.
Can we get a guide for muOS Banana? I just did the update last night but I can't for the life of me find the settings like the sleep/shutdown on lid close anymore. Also, apparently Banana is introducing a way to do over the air updates instead of having to reflash finally as well. Seems like a lot of cool changes but just need an updated refresher on things to do on first set up again. Also, if I buy another RG35XXSP (new transparent colors) can I just take the SD card out of my current one, put it in the new one and it'll work all the same as left configured or will I have to re-set everything up again? Thank you!
I've never messed with one of these before but I bought the SP so I have a couple questions. First, if you're flashing the OS to the SD card, does that mean every time an update is released, you'll have to flash it again, and lose all the data on the card? Second question, would it be better then, to flash the OS to a smaller 16gb or 32gb card, and then use a 128gb card in the second slot for bios and rom storage?

How do you enable analog controls? Like where is the setting. There's definitely alot of learning curve with this. Retroarch is hardcore. It does not even have detail description or help menu. Also everyone says that you can click the power button for joy stick. But that does nothing for me. I'm trying to play n64, I have tried all 4 analog stick options. I've looked under hotkeys, theres nothing I can find. That shows analog controls. I was hoping I just had to enable it under hotkeys and set it to power button. Any help be great. I just tried to put the 2 sd that I use on the stockOs here on muOs. The SD 2 MuOS sees it and works. It sees all the roms in the emulator folders as they are structured on StockOs, but it doesn't let me start the MAME, MDCD, PCECD roms and another one that I don't remember now. It therefore means that for muOS they are placed in the wrong emulator folder and I should move them to the right one (which I don't know what they would be for muOS). So for me it's not worth it, because I can't change the same SD as the roms when I change between muOS and stockOS. I should have an SD for the roms on muOS and an SD for the roms on StockOS. No thank you.
