Thank you for a clear and concise step by step guide for this procedure. It is a job I must undertake, but first I have to have my gearbox rebuilt.

Yes , I’m about to dive into changing the secondary TC tensioners on my 2000 S-Type 3.0L and need some advice on obtaining the proper piece to undo that pulley ...

Elias J, I don't think the 3L S-Type crankshaft pully is exactly the same but here's the link to the 4L AJV8 pulley tool design video for your information. th-cam.com/video/PRiABhZAYkA/w-d-xo.html Quite easy to make your own or buy one. I think the V6 is a bit different and see this tool for sale on Ebay with instructions in the listing photos circa £200. The instructions will give you the general information. Not cheap but need to get a good grip on these things and they are on really tight. Sorry couldn't be more helpful. Thanks for the comment regards Damian (ebay listing below)

Elias J, sorry personally I am not familiar with the V6. We have only Ben working on the V8. However, you might to take a look at this repair manual for the Jaguar v6 engines. jagrepair.com/images/AutoRepairPhotos/Engine%20Repair%20Course%20Code%20168.pdf Hope thanks has what you need, thanks for the comment regards Damian
