    Thanks for the part numbers and names of the wiper arm cap and skuttle finisher cap. Now if I can actually find them. The wiper arm cap looks pretty standard from a hardware store.

    Galvanic action. Instead of mastic could you not use some EPDM foam strip/tape? It is available in various widths and thicknesses on this side of the pond from McMaster-Carr.

      Gary, thank you for the proper name for the corrosion. Foam strip might be a better solution. In my defence, I only used a small bead of mastic as thought I would probably not going to need to remove again. However, I was wrong and now, looking at my windscreen delamination, I think I need to look for a different solution. Thank you for your input and suggestion, regards Damian
