Story :-
Op is a fine young man who established a firm for which he employed his best friend’s managerial services. As a show of gratitude, he gives his friend twenty percent of his company share. His friend however does not seem satisfied, and he goes ahead on his wedding day to set Op up with his lover. Op falls for the lover and she passes the series of tests he set for her. His friend advises him against signing a prenup when he decides to get married to the lady.
Op gets married to the lady but it turns out that the debts that she incurred as a single lady were cropping up and creating a nuisance in their marriage. Op's best friend encourages him to keep paying to save his image and that of the company. It gets too much and Op decides to talk to his wife about it but she uses it as a means to seek divorce from him. He ends up in the hospital because of a terrible accident and after which he discovers his wife was his friend's lover. Op decides to give her the divorce and she ends up with nothing as he accused her of infidelity. He has his friend arrested and 3 years of a sentence for mismanaging funds and he ends up dating his friend's wife.

Lol a company worth $500,000 doesn't seem like it would be enough for the paparazzi to be following you anywhere. My sister's husband brings home six figures from his company and the paparazzi have never followed him or his "lovers" WTF🤣🤣🤣🤣

thats what I thought, someone's is really full of himself. That's why he was so easy to take advantage of. Now he has taken this woman into his home. He really doesn't learn and he's really socially awkward.
I don't think OP is a person incapable of love. I think he felt he had to be overly cautious, because he didn't want to be taken advantage of, and that's what almost happened. This made him come off as a cold person.
Not happy that OP and Maeve got together, she has enough problems without being involved with a man who is a " I love me, who do you love" he never had any emotional connection with anyone during the story and both Maeve and baby deserve someone who can give them that.

divorce terms are actually very reasonable short marriages. it's not going to be 50/50 of assets. more like a small part of income (most of income is expenses) during period of marriage

This sounds fake. A marriage lasting less than 3 months and ending in infidelity, would likely end in an annulment, not a divorce and she wouldn't get anything.
