Great tip on how to make thin strips. I've seen quite a few jigs for that purpose. Some were very complicated, some simplier. But your way beats everything. I'm going to try this asap. Thanks for sharing.

Good tip on the sacrificial fence, like it.
Love the thin strip idea, have seen so many complicated methods for doing this, yours was best & simplest. Nice one.
Lovely piece, great use of remnants, and that thin strip cutting tip alone was worth the watch time. Well done and thank you for sharing!

Could you make a video showing what tools you think would be good christmas presents to buy someone with a similar workshop? ☺
Nice job Kieth. 👍🏼😊

A good project as always... What are Vinyl records? Is that something old people used to listen to? lol....I'll have to ask my Grandfather...
That dowel you used looked like it came from Ikea!
If you have a pair of those switchable magnets, your sacrificial fence could use them instead of hot glue.
I think it is a cast aluminium table as it looks like my DeWalt 745. Good idea for cast iron tables though.
This vinyl box is sold out?
Awesome job, loved the tip for cutting thin strips on a table saw! Can I ask where you got those corner clamps from? Look pretty handy!
They weren’t vinyl boxes, you made them out of wood 😉 hahah!
Lovely neat job Keith, took me back to my youth hanging around record shops unable to afford anything. May I ask the make of your mitre saw?
Axminster White Sliding Mitre Saw model 100083
WannaBeWood Smith wow! You can tell by eyeballing it? You know your stuff! Thanks.
