I converted all the pieces to inches and some how the bottom piece came out to be an inch short? All the rest of the pieces were perfect. Thanks for the video.
You really need a new blade for that table saw! Was a struggle to watch how much effort it took to cut that plywood and the severe burning it left on the material. Go for a freud blade, you can pick them up for between £30 and £40 and they will make your life so much easier!!
Well done Keith yet another great project, have you still got the Evolution saw or have you sent it back? I've had one for some time now and for the money its great.
+Joe basementwoodworking doing a bit of guess work, if the internal measures roughly 260mm deep internally and records are about 4mm thick, should hold 60 records per side roughly, so 120 in total. hope that helps!
+seaninfrared I don't really know enough about them as this is the first I've ever owned, and I don't know what brand it is (there's no writing on it at all) or what air pressure output. It seems fairly decent though it's solid metal construction. Sometimes when I pull the trigger, air comes out but the nail doesn't fire. I think that's because there's not enough pressure coming from the compressor, because it usually turns itself on to suck in more air shortly after it does that. Doesn't happy often though so no big deal - good enough for me! I've loved using it so far, so would definitely recommend getting one even if it's just for the satisfying noise it makes! Psssh-crutka!!
Where do I get the instructions to build this, I couldn't find it on your website? It says to look on the resource page but can't find it. I really like this
Great build Keith, it amazes me where you get your wood from? In this video you said you got the sheets from a reclamation yard, I haven't got one of those near me a right pain for me to get wood. I usually order online to Click2Buy in L'pool and that costs me £15 delivery cause I'm on the Wirral. Anyway soap box moment is gone now so well done on the build, it looks brillo. Barry (from West Kirby, Wirral)
Hi! Nice work mate. I am currently building a similiar one, may I ask you for your measurements for your build? Depth and width fort starters, mine will be a bit shorter. Cheers!
Looks great, very cool display. I might make one for my dad, he has quite a collection of vinyls. How many will it hold, need to know if I'm gonna have to enlarge your plans or just build two.
+Lyle Kobberstad doing a bit of guess work, if the internal measures roughly 260mm deep internally and records are about 4mm thick, should hold 60 records per side roughly, hope that helps!
Keith, could I use a router to do the dado joints? I don't have a table saw. Only a circular saw and a router. I have a 3/4" bit that should work for the dado. Also, is it possible to hammer finishing nails by hand? I don't want to have to buy an air gun if possible...thanks.
+Marcelo Pippa yes router for dado could work providing you have a way to accurately line them up so the bottom panel slides in and yes hammer and nails will be fine
Thank you for replying it's just I am setting up my workshop again for more space not much bigger than yours Keith but it's nice to get someone else take on it cheers I will let you know what I buy David
great video ! completely forgot about my bob the builders workshop I have to make these ! thanks for the reminder
Very nice my friend reminds me of going to the old record stores
Looks nice I like the hair pin legs as well
good job mate! I bet the new owner of this is pleased
the ultra long legs on such a small box seem strange but still very cool project
Nice! I'll be trying to make a similar unit in a week. Instead of the Hairpin legs, I might try to make more storage underneath
Nice and sleek, I like it!
You do such nice work! I enjoy watching!
This is actually really neat! I need to attempt.
Great job Keith!
Rất tuyệt vời. Chiếc kệ để sách đẹp lắm bạn
This is awesome, got a great vintage vibe to it also. Really dig your taste in music, im a dylan/neil nut.
Nice job Kieth ,would look nice in birch ply but so expensive .
+Michael Evans yes! I thought about adding a solid wood strip to the ply wood edges to hide them but ran out of time in the end
neil young's "harvest" album.... WOW!
nice unit!

Can you advise your vinyl setup. What speakers and amplifier you have?
How many records does it hold?
turned out nice!-How many fit in there??👍👍💥

Awesome
How are you finding your air nailer? I am toying at the idea of buying one. Do you think brand is important? Or just the air pressure output?

Hi Gerald....did he ever reply about the instructions?
I checked the Website as well....no Resources tab to be found.
Do you make these for purchase?

I'm quite lucky as I have one just around the corner.. I still have to pay for the delivery though unless I can cram it in my Vauxhall Corsa!

Right on. Thanks for the tips.
Very nice to to ask the pin nailer what make and would you recommend it does it drive the nails in kind regards David
+David Brewer no idea what make it is I bought it secondhand at a car boot sale and it has no writing on it. It does a good job firing nails in though

+danielle acuna resources page has the plans, instructions are in the video
Rag 'n' Bone Brown thankyou!

Looks like you used flat head screws for the legs, should have used round, or pan head screws.
