I’ve seen a video from Hardware Canucks I believe that mentioned the NH-D15 V2 which is 168mm and they indicated that it’s likely to fit given how flexible the side panel is. I’m also looking to build in this case. Currently I have a 4060Ti and a 7800X3D with the PS120 and an ATX PSU. I’d ideally go for an Arctic Liquid Freezer and a SFX-L PSU for headroom because I wish to put a 5090 in when that arrives, but I’m likely going to keep the current setup for now.

Nice build, like the IO on the case, glad Dancase finally understood that using a 2 port header and only giving us 1 port just sucks. It's a dumb trend. I do worry about temps, I think this case would be pretty hot. Why not front intake? It's molded plastic, just mold some holes. It's not even a machining issue! Aside from that, the part I'd personally change is to go with an ASROCK Steel Series motherboard. A bit higher spec, could even get a B series with OC options for the same price. ASUS has shafted me recently on 2 motherboards and a PSU, so I avoid them like the plague now. Got my uncle on a laptop. Warranty only covers the computer. Not the display... It's a LAPTOP. the display is part of the computer! Looks really clean though, and I get thinking the front is vented. Those vertical lines are like the molded on exhaust ports on some of those "gaming laptops" at WalMart!
I plan on downsizing my current atx build into this case, with water-cooling and everything, because i also need to fit 2 additional pcie cards - anything more than 2 slot GPUs ain't gonna fit. Let's see how it works out 😈
4070 ti gaming OC is 336mm I have one XD. Seems perfect for a chassis like this with an X3D chip on an air cooler. Just keep that top exhaust blowing, and some gpu intake fans if they even fit. To un CHOKE the gpu vs having a top mounted RAD. As far as the most optimal/setup orientation for using the glass side window. Id consider am5/ddr5 but the price point of that asrock b550M SE is too hard to pass up from a budget/impact standpoint while wedging the most budget/scale towards a GPU. By the time that platform feels quite dated im figuring DDR5 M-atx boards will be cheaper or a more worthy aspect of consideration/upgrade. Or when AM5+ m-atx boards come to exist. For a higher end gpu even....4k becomes more of an aspect of considration or an OLED tv/monitor which to me is still somewhat less of an emphasis on cpu. Though the intel/ultra chips have shown some 4k implications. From a price standpoint id still consider the 5800x3d/DDR4 and a flagship range gpu for 4k from a budget standpoint it still leaves a lot of potential towards a tv/monitor. IMO current gen still cant even make the most of a 240hz 4k panel. Id rather get something more budget oriented/suited with lower refreshrate that still offers VRR. And largely "CONSIDER" a platform/gpu upgrade when newer gen oled panels exist that boast better HDR performance/brightness ranges. As far as what "today" can offer budget wise...vs tomorrow. From a build to monitor standpoint/ratio. a 180hz 21:9 oled per ex with a decent build bearing in mind use of DLSS+ Frame gen, or fsr+FMF. Into that future/upgrade generation/cycle....and better OLED brightness-option era potentially flexible. Thats just around the corner as well as am5+. BC of the older am4/DDR4 platform you can wedge a 7900XTX into the 1500$ build budget range for 4k into a future/better 4k system when that time comes. OFC nv offers more to professionals As well as a current state/better support/implementation of DLSS or Frame gen...granted FMF is supported on RDNA2 cards as far as AMD finally making its way around the bend. So ppl could also snag/snipe a good 6950xt used and run up a build for this use case.
Really loving the build, for my own personal build im looking for a case that almost has the vertical equal to the dan A3's HORIZONTAL length, and width equal to the VERTICAL height of the dan A3 in the video so it would be like the dan A3 sitting upright on its front if you know any cases like these, let me know. I would really appreciate it
Without a single case fan, this build is just waiting to overheat. I just built with this case and you can put two or three fans in the top, two fans in the bottom, two or three fans on the left side, and a 120 exhaust fan in the back.
I know I'm a little late to this video, but take a look at Mr. Matt Lee's video on the Lian Li A3. He just posted it a few weeks ago. He put 3 fans on the bottom, one in the back, one on top, with an air cooled CPU (Artic Freezer 36). The build looks very nice.
Why don't I see many reviews of the Jonsbo/Jonpro Z20? I'm looking to build my first PC and want a small budget case that can handle a RX 6800 (340mm) Is there something wrong with it?
I was wondering about that case too. It looks perfect for me besides the fact that I would prefer a mesh side panel. If you get it and use it let me know how it is and how it works for larger gpus
So, I think you made a mistake with the part choice. As you demonstrated gaming performance, the 4070ti super was held back by 7600 in all scenarios. You can't use ray tracing with 7600. It's too hard on the CPU as much as the GPU. A 4070 super with 7800x3d and a decent motherboard would have been a better option.
@@Apeeksiht The thing is, you can't evaluate if your CPU is holding you back with CPU usage. You should check GPU usage; if it's not 100%, that means your CPU can't keep up with your GPU. And yes, Ray tracing is mostly GPU's workload, but it is still need CPU. Next time check your GPU usage.

Really loving the build, for my own personal build im looking for a case that almost has the vertical equal to the dan A3's HORIZONTAL length, and width equal to the VERTICAL height of the dan A3 in the video
so it would be like the dan A3 sitting upright on its front
if you know any cases like these, let me know. I would really appreciate it
Cerberus X?
@@buran2527 yeah that form factor really works well. Thx
Damn want such build! Your channel is the besttttt
Nice Video, i would Like if there was a cheap lga 1700 itx Mainboard
Don't need ITX for this, it's a MATX case.
why i cant find this case in amazon what so special about this this is silly
This or the ap201?
A3 26 litres
Ap201 33 litres
Without a single case fan, this build is just waiting to overheat. I just built with this case and you can put two or three fans in the top, two fans in the bottom, two or three fans on the left side, and a 120 exhaust fan in the back.
I know I'm a little late to this video, but take a look at Mr. Matt Lee's video on the Lian Li A3. He just posted it a few weeks ago. He put 3 fans on the bottom, one in the back, one on top, with an air cooled CPU (Artic Freezer 36). The build looks very nice.
wish you could build this with a 7900 xtx nitro+ if its possible :D
Why don't I see many reviews of the Jonsbo/Jonpro Z20?
I'm looking to build my first PC and want a small budget case that can handle a RX 6800 (340mm)
Is there something wrong with it?
I was wondering about that case too. It looks perfect for me besides the fact that I would prefer a mesh side panel. If you get it and use it let me know how it is and how it works for larger gpus
@collinbear will do and I have the same thoughts on the side panel
$1500 budget with a 4070ti super???????
build a pc from a Jonsbo z20 black case
Hey man, thanks for this awesome guide! I just wanted to ask, how did you create your FPS overlay counter? It looks amazing.
Nice build I would not by Asus motherboard. Had issues in the past with warranty.
Why are you running an ASUS with all of the issues and scams they have pulled?
nice!
Wouldnt an AMD card make more sense? Like a 7900GRE
So a £1500 build with no fans …. Surely you would want 6 fans in this build ?
Was lamborghini x LianLi his first collab or am I tripping?
I do glad to here from all the sources that Corsair is reliable brand. Hopefully we can see some mini ATX from Corsair in nearest time.
Here is a question? Why buy a motherboard with 4 RAM slots when you only intend to use 2?
WTF where are the fans?
Wow no extra fans whatsoever
So, I think you made a mistake with the part choice. As you demonstrated gaming performance, the 4070ti super was held back by 7600 in all scenarios. You can't use ray tracing with 7600. It's too hard on the CPU as much as the GPU. A 4070 super with 7800x3d and a decent motherboard would have been a better option.
man I'm running 7600x with 4070ti super and i can perfectly say 7600x isn't holding anything back. heck i could even pair it with 4080
also ray tracing is gpu intensive not cpu. and my cpu barely crosses 30 40% usage in demanding gaming.
Hi Devin, i just wanted to say that youve done way less editing on this video as compared to the older ones. There's almost no background music or any b roll or a roll shots that ive noticed(i might be wrong), if you like to make videos like this, go for it. I like it too. But im really concerned what most people would think about this new style and format of the videos.
maybe you'll like the video I'm posting today better
@@devyn.johnston Looking forward to it 👀
imagine saying 16gig is not enough for multi tasking,
In my opinion the case is way too big
Please start benchmarking cs2 and valorant. All these other benchmarks are meaningless to someone like me :(
no case fans?
1500 in the us but 1700 in the uk bc fuck us i guess, i wish my first pc would be a matx but theres no case like that under £100 that i can find
