Hey guys, how's it going? Chris Connor here and welcome to another episode of filmmaker reacts for my channel. Seat back, relax and lets study the filmmaking techniques as well as talk about what visual effects can be pulled of within after effects! This week we are reacting and taking a look at two LEAGUE OF LEGENDS cinematic trailers!

Next reaction to imagine dragon enemy to ost arcane league of legend
I think you didnt react to ignite, if im not mistaken is the 2017 worlds promotional cinematic, and it is pure fire. and the one walking at the start ( the one with the black spheres later) isnt faker, is showmaker.
My favorite worlds trailer is the 2016 ignite because you can actually see champions and what they are doing. The animation is more cartoony and different from the semi realistic style of the other world trailers are animated.
Worlds collide is one of my favorites. but that is because that was when i was most hyped about worlds. I would love to see you react to the worlds final opening ( th-cam.com/video/6QDWbKnwRcc/w-d-xo.html) because ni the opening they use allot of animations with irl people and i always wonderd how they did it.
and yes Faker is no longer the unbeateble he lost his crown. (still an amazing player and i think they might win this year)

If you were wondering, the video is (kind of) a recreation of worlds 2020, the guy at the start looking up at faker is showmaker, who won the tournament and is considered the best player in the world right now, trying to live up to the expectations of being "the next faker"
the one he was fighting at first was chovy, who he beat in the quarter finals, also considered one of the best players in the world and trying to live up to that reputation, but sadly wasnt able to
the other two featured are rekkles (blond) and jackeylove (hoodie), who played each other in quarters and are similarly trying to prove themseves after jackeylove beat rekkles at world finals 2018, jackeylove trying to regain his crown and rekkles to rise up to his level
Notice how showmaker feels the weight of the crown on his shoulders?
Just love those details man

Yep, I knew he'd love this one since he loves fight scenes more than anyone I've watched.
The phases of the video were mostly representing the different stages of competitive play across the season (local/scrimmages to regionals to worlds).
That was a sick cinematic not gonna lie, love your reaction and breakdown as well, but I'm still waiting for a reaction to "Breathe" since a year ago :)

The main guy is not Faker Chris, if you look at the very beginning of the song, he is looking at the bilboard on the building - there is Faker. But the main guy with purple orbs is Showmaker, he is kinda new coming superstar (from Korea as well as Faker, they also play the same role in the game).
I'd love to see you react to the Worlds 2021 opening especially since you've seen arcane :D I can't handle how excited you get it's amazing and reminds me of when I was first discovering everything, I STILL get that excited for every cinematic.

Did you notice?, before the characters enter the portal, when they fight in the arena, the characters body that change into hero body part is actually 3d paint exactly like after the characters enter the portal

The map is probably Seoul or some other city the tournament was hosted in.
The player with the white/blueish sweater is ShowMaker from Damwon Kia and he is one of the best midlaners these days. Faker is in World's rn and they will play a best of 5 tomorrow on whose team advances to the finals.
The other player with blonde hair is Rekkles from G2 with the location of the LEC in Germany. Unfortunately they did not make it to this year's world's and thus stayed at home.

Talking about the city map; No. League of Legends does not have a city map. We basically only have one map that every game is played on. The early part of the video is the various regions fighting within their region, represented as various different gyms, then the top players (or in reality teams) all leave their gyms and appear in the city that is hosting the world championship. It's more reflective of real world logistics and less of in game features. For instance we rarely get more than 2 teams on a map at a time, but that rooftop brawl had a LOT more than that.

Where its all going, Showmaker and Chovy, both supassed Faker as it is in "mid power" and that is whats down in the begining with the Poster when Showmaker see's Faker "everywhere" and think "im the next big thing" and in the video is the newcommers fighting eachoter, for the new Bonjwa.

So story in this cinematic is based on last year's world's and last year Faker didn't manage to get into Worlds (I think it was the first time that happened)
I really like, and appreciate you're videos, u seem so professional about the anamation what is happening in the videos, and you are giving us a fair explanation abaut how is that was made. I think you should react to an anime battle, in my point of wiew is one of the best. It is called Fate-Saber Alter vs Rider Heaven's Feel. I think u will like that.

Reaction "Breathe" Legend of Runterra
The one who is in blue shirt it is Showmaker. He is one of the many who follow Faker legacy to claim that he can be a king too. A new king in League of Legends. But in my perspective it is not enough to win worlds 3 times in a row to be a new face in League. (In the official video at 2:34 you can see a flicker on Showmaker face where Faker face appears even twice.)

Almost did it tho (they were even ahead in this bo and that last game), next year the roster will full ready next year.
Faker didn't win 3 in a row. It was 2. He has won 3 championships, but it was 2013, '15, and '16, not 13-15 or 14-16.
2:20 Sorry but it's Showmaker. Faker was shown only in the poster. Ik the animation makes them look more similar ie, the animation for both the players look similar at a single glance but if you look closer you'll see they are different.

Like all Worlds songs, this one contains A MILLION Eastereggs about it's players, plays and Moments everyone knows, commercials, champions and more and more... its just great. Like the videos and everything are cool but if u actually know a lot of these EEggs's its just CRAZY NO ONE ELSE DOES THIS. I would love to go in depth and explain them all, but it would take me a sooo long and that has to be done in a conversation, so u can ask stuff and get reference to the different plays.
