@@fadeddragon123 that's an outdated lore. That's actually not the case anymore in the current lore. Now his lamp is one of the only weapons the Void is afraid of. After the fall of Icathia Jax went back from the border to Shurima to the destroyed capitol of Icathia and had to deal with the Void Corruption and survivors guilt there. In the middle of all the corruption he found the lantern. It is an old relict he had seen before in the Treasure Chambers of the Icathian palace. While the entire city of Icathia was corrupted by the Void, those spots the light of the lantern reached were not. The Void literally couldn't get close to that Lantern. Jax picked up the lamp and, since he found no survivors, made his way out of Icathia, in his hands the so called "Last light of Icathia".
It's also been changed significantly since this old trailer. And continues to change so its good to get caught up. But also to not be confused about old lore.
19:15 - She used one of her abilities, Charm, to lure the two guys away from her friend, because she doesn't want them to find out she's still alive and finish her off. Also, the part at the end, with the 9 tails and the 3 orbs, is her ultimate ability. She does up to three dashes, each of which sends a ball of energy at a nearby enemy for damage, which is depicted exactly in the video.
You can actually see this ability in "Pop Stars" video. She uses it when she appears 2nd time, just after showing her 9 tails. She throws a heart onto the camera (which is constantly moving away). The camera stops and for a second is actually dragged towards Ahri. This is how it works. When you're charmed, you lose control over movement and have to follow her for a few seconds.
Well IIRC it's sort of her current design as in it's not quite that, with the dress(?) part being a bit longer and the shoulder area not quite as exposed and wide, the CGI/lore design at least the in-game model is still more or less this. Still the black haired version is the "true" Ahri with KDA being a themed skin.
One of Ahri's abilities is that she can charm her opponents. Meaning that she can telepathically force people to follow her. So that's what she did there in the scene where the saturation faded. She saved Leona(yellow gal with the shield) by charming the two guys to herself so that they wouldn't actually kill Leona.
21:10 look at that transition from Rengar clawing away at Draven to Graves shooting at Katarina. It's so subtle, but it keeps you from realizing they need to show 4 different fights at the same time.
Every scene with Leona (sword/shield woman) is my fav from this, because everything from how she goes through the tree (opposed to over or under), takes the axe for Ahri and comes back to fight even though she's hurt, it all embodies the "fantasy" of playing Leona, I think. It's so well done.

Also, Graves (guy with the shotgun) has a shell with "End of the line" scratched into it which is the one that he used in the clip, I was hoping you'd notice it in the analysis section but alas...
A nice touch is at 4:50 where you can tell that Ahri used her charm ability on Darius (guy with the giant axe) but not Draven (the other guy who actually happens to be his brother in lore). You can tell because if you look closely Darius is the one who gets angry and runs after Ahri while Draven just glances at him for a second before just following his lead, assuming that Darius had landed a killing blow on Leona (lady in golden armor) and that he was moving on to his next target

The red-haired woman is Katarina. She's a magic-assassin type of character. Her signature weapons are "daggers" but they are pretty much the same size as swords. The biggest thing about her though is her "Shunpo" which is an instant teleport/dash
The character design of Ahri (gumiho) in this video is what she actually looks like in the canon lore universe. The model design in the KDA music videos is part of an alternate lore universe where she is portrayed as a popstar. So crazy, she has gazillions of skins in-game with their own respective alternate universes. Anyway, always enjoyed watching your reactions! Cheers!
Oh god i LOVE your reactions to these. I had the same reaction when Leona saved Ahri at the end. I was yelling “YES YES SHE ALIVE!!” Keep these reactions going! Also that Bleach reference you said 🤣. Also at 19:00 Ahri used her "Charm" Ability on them both. In the game it can only hit one person, but here they made it so she effects everyone she choices thus saving Leona. I loved that scene cause so many didn't pick up on it when it released back then, but you with the 200 iq got it instantly.
One of the things that makes this cinematic my favorite of all league ones is that it uses ambience for its story instead of just playing a song. It feels like a movie instead of a music video.
I dunno if it's what you're thinking of at 26:28, but Sun Tzu had a term for when you have the enemy on one side and a cliff on the other: Death ground. It's the one situation where you never engage, because if people are engaged in a fight in which they know there's no escape, they'll fight more viciously (and obediently) than in any other situation. (I'm pretty sure The Art of War explicitly says the only way to intelligently engage an army that's on death ground is to let them know they're boned and wait for them to give up.)
This cinematic reflects characters' personality really well. For example Draven(you know him from awaken,arena) is an executioner and doing his work for show. He thinks he is super cool and he loves himself a lot. In this cinematic he pushed Zyra (plant girl) and wanted to execute ahri himself. Also when Rengar is on him he still showed that he is not afraid. And Graves(the guy with shotgun) saw a lot and almost nothing surprises him. You can see that when Rengar is done with Draven he just looked and did like "OK. This is usual." When he blows up that rock with a bullet you can see "end of line" on that bullet so he is ready for everything. And there are more like this. And please please react to "breathe-legends of runeterra" you won't be disappointed.
I recommend Necrit for some videos on the league lore. He's dedicated and puts it all together very well. Also, the weapon is, uh, a lantern. One of that characters voice lines is "Imagine if I had a Real weapon"
Firstly what Ahri did - her I would say core spell is named Charm - she charms you, she makes you fall in love with her and run towards her so she can hit you. She made this to distract them so she could get some time to run. And another Ahri's spell was shown while fighting the the "flower character", she throw a kind of an orb forwards, and then it comes back to her (this spell is normally blue, but when Ahri hits some amount of spells, she sometimes throws green one and that heals her). Secondly about the "pirate chick", this is Katarina and she is assassin, so she is jumping a lot and is pretty fast. She is not the pirate chick, it's Miss Fortune, that also has kind of red hair, but she is more like pirate hunter.

Ahri's third skilll in-game is a charming spell she throws an heart and if she hit an enemy, he's forced to follow her for a while the fact that her eyes turn purple with the little pink mist around her is the representation of her, charming draven (the bored gladiator from Awaken on the right) and Darius (Noxus Army Commander and main executionner, Draven's brother)
27:14 aren't those actually 2 abilities one after another? Of course she charges "spirit rush" (R) to finish Darius, but those 3 orbs floating around her could be "fox fires" (W) - 3 homing projectiles that rush towards closest enemy. She loses those just after first attack of spirit rush.
When you asked what weapon the guy in the purple cloak uses, it's a lamppost. He's such a weapon master that when he started fighting in the league the masters restricted him to using the lamppost as a weapon. He easily won with that restriction so they took it away as ineffective but now he still just uses it as a personal challenge to himself.
The ball Ahri uses that she tosses and then it comes back is her Q. On the way out it deals magic damage and on the way back it deals true damage (damage which is not affected by things like armor), it's her signature ability. The pink mist you saw that desaturated the image when she was fighting those 2 guys is her E, which is a charm ability that makes the enemy hit walk towards her for a short time, it can be used to escape or to deal massive damage in conjunction with her Q. At the end when she jumps into the air you can see her R, which is her ultimate ability. She gets 3 dashes and when she uses these dashes she gets 3 "spirit orb" kinds of things that strike nearby enemies. There are a TON of more references to the game itself within the cinematic but I thought I'd stay with ahri for now because that's who you're interested in mostly :)
I'm not 100% sure myself but I assume the thing that Ahri did when her eyes turned pruple was using her ability 'Charm' which attracts the character that she hits with it, so I guess she used that to get Draven (Guy with the two throwing Blades) and Darius (Guy with the huge Axe) away from Leona (the Shieldgirl) and the attack Ahri used on Zyra (the Plantgirl) is her ability 'Orb of Deception' which she shoots forward and then it comes back to her dealing additional true dmg.

The Pirate Chick you mention was Miss Fortune, The Bounty Hunter
Ahri did one of her ability named Charm. the orb that she throws and came back is an actual presentation of her Q ability, Orb of Deception, she will throw her Orb and comes back to her, giving her some movement speed to move around and place your angle for the elapsed time she threw the orb. with her Passive ability Essence Theft. Jax's weapon is a lampost, he said that he could have killed lots of people if he had a real weapon. That is actuary her Classic Skin, that's what you see in game of you doesn't obtain or bought any skins for her. K/DA Ahri and K/DA All Out Ahri is actually just a skin, as well as Akali, Evelynn, Kai'Sa, and Seraphine.
the girl with red hair is Katarina, The Sinister Blade. She is a Magic/Ability user of Champion, that throws daggers, blinking to and enemy and more throwing Daggers. The ability that she uses to blink to an enemy or monsters even minions but mostly to her dagger on the ground is named Shunpo. She is an Assassin/Mage type of Champion. the ability that Darius used was her Ultimate Ability Noxian Guillotine, he will dunk his axe to his enemy and leave his Passive ability Hemorrhage, where he leaves a DPS damage like Burn to the enemy he damaged. the 3 Orbs + the 3 Dashes is a combination of her 2 abilities, Fox-Fire, where she cast 3 small fox fire, that when she's near an enemy, it will trigger to target the closest enemy, and Spirit Rush 3 separate dashes, that throws 1 fox fire every time she lands near the enemy, don't be confuse coz the does 2 different cast. even though she hadn't used fox-fire, she will still throw a fox-fire if she dashes using her Ultimate Ability, Spirit Rush. and the Crystal-like on the ground from afar is actually their Base or so called Nexus. That is the most important in the game, you have to defend it, and destroy enemy's Nexus to win the Game

Red-haired Assassin: Katarina. Big Axe Dude: Darius, Brother of Draven (the one with the fu-man-chu moustache) These first three are all part of the same kingdom - Noxus. The woman with the sword and shield is Leona, a defender of Mount Targon (a mountain where the Celestial beings are from). Poison Ivy lookalike is Zyra - a hybrid of human and stranglethorn. Shotgun bloke is Graves, a mercenary from Bilgewater. The leonine hunter is Rengar (A Vastayan like Ahri, except he's Kiilash, while she's humanoid). The guy that you asked "What kind of weapon is that?" is Jax, Grandmaster at Arms - nobody actually knows what species he is but his weapon, as others have said in the comments, is a... lamp post. One of his taunts in-game is "Imagine if I had a REAL weapon!". Finally, the Bioshock Big Daddy-looking thing is Nautilus, an undead reanimated human in a huge cursed diving suit. My favourite part? The little nuances of humour that break up the gritty violence of this - Draven doing a small shrug after stepping on Leona's sword - Graves watching Rengar dice up Draven then doing an "Alright then!" face before running after Katarina - or Katarina doing the funny-haha legsplit and "Whew!" with the knife near her unmentionables - or Graves doing the "Sup?" face after catching Katarina trying to ambush him. These kinds of injections of humour really give the cinematic a real movie-script feel as opposed to a static, recycled video game feel.

The one with spikes on his armor is Darius and he is Draven's brother(this is the bored 'Prince' in the awaken cinematic). The reason why there was blood when he assaulted Leona was because it's part of his ultimate . That whole jump sequence to the bleed is his ult; in game he jumps at you and after 2-3 more seconds, his bleed deals damage after he did his ult. Yes, it's part of Ahri's abilities when her ball returns. It is her Q and after hitting a few damage, her Q glows green from blue and she heals herself for a bit. The Then ending part was her ultimate, she dashes 3 times and can use abilities after/before dashes. "What is that??" - The big submarine thing is named Nautilus and is a tank support in game though is abilities are not that big in game. Rengar(the tiger/cat with yellow blue eyes fighting Katarina) has an invisible ability, that's his ultimate(press R) . He goes invisible but when he jumps on an enemy they get stunned and he can "shred" damage on you. Zyra or Ivy as you called, has those plants and grows as her passive, she leaves flowers on the ground that she activate later with her skills to grow into attacking plants. Graves, 'mad respect dude who used a bullet to bring a boulder down now has 2 shots before reloading, it looks like in the cinematic, he used to have 3. You have to watch Tales of Runeterra:Double-double cross now. It's a cinematic for League' s card game called Legends of Runeterra. Also just a tip from one League player who knows more to a newbie, when in the jungle, focus on your buffs(red brambleback, blue sentinel) and on objectives(baron, rift herald, dragons) Blue sentinel gives you mana back but if you're using a champion that doesn't rely on mana, you don't need this. Red brambleback gives you health back so this is good for all champions to take.
21:46 The transitions like this I think are important since you have a 5v5 throughout the whole cinematic so it's kind of important to show that these teams have multiple fights going on at the same time... Rather than it being just 5 1v1s in a very orderly yet unrealistic manner, you have a 5v5 where each person is dealing with 1-2 enemies at a time and they're all expected to be participating in the fight until the 5v5 is over (once they've been revealed anyway)... Moving the camera from one fight to another before the first fight has finished kinda shows how chaotic things are with all these fights happening at the same time even if on screen there's still basically only 1 fight between a few people at a time...
When Ahri's eyes change colour. It is her using a Charm ability to get Darius and Draven away from Leona. Katarina is the red head, she's an assassin obviously. The knife cat is Rengar, he's from a race called Vastaya. Jax is the one with the Lamppost, he doesn't use a real weapon because he's a Master Of Arms and doesn't feel it'd be fair if he had a real weapon. Zyra is the Ivy character. (Ahri uses her Q ability to defeat Zyra it's a ball of light/magic that she throws out and it boomerangs) The giant tank character is Nautilus, he's a legendary monster that lives in Bilgewater and is actually really interesting if you read about his lore. He's kind of a toll collector/guardian. The guy with the big gun is Graves, he's also from Bilgewater. Check out the Bilgewater Legends of Runeterra short for some interesting stuff with him in it. I missed a bunch of details, but that's what I got for you. Check out Tales of Runeterra for some lore related cinematics. This one is just 10 champions on the Rift with no lore to it at all.
so Katarina is the one you thought was maybe the pirate chick, who is actually Miss Fortune. Nautilus is the big guy with the anchor. Fun fact - each champion got their own sort of signature sounds, so as each one is on screen, certain instruments are used. they couldn't get one they liked for Nautilus, so they actually recorded the sounds in the water, which causes the reverberating sounds. Jax isn't allowed to use a real weapon canonically because he's too good at fighting, so he gets a weird staff-like thing

so, in order of appearance we have ahri (who you know) and leona, who is a member of the solari who worship the sun, the beam of light at the end is her ultimate ability. Next we have katarina an assassin from noxus who can teleport, followed by darius who is a general from noxus who killed his own captain when he called for a retreat, next up is his brother draven, hes the executioner from noxus and he loves making a show of his job. The plant lady is zyra....shes poison ivy....next up is the man with the gun, graves, he is from a place called bilgewater where he works as a sort of bounty hunter along side his brother, the lion man is rengar, a ferocious warrior who used to be very weak, he was thrown into the wild and basically left to die, but instead he honed his skills and later returned as the strongest of his kind (though he was still bested by a bug, but thats another story) the hooded man is jax, he wields an icathian staff that can purge the void from the world, but he mostly uses it to beat people up. Lastly we have nautilus, nautilus is a bit of an oddity, everyone in bilgewater knows to follow one rule "pay the tithe" if a captain doesnt toss a coin into the waters when setting sail, their ship meets a terrible end and is dragged to the bottom of the sea, also the cinematis doesnt do him justice here, the dud is MASSIVE, he can stand up out of the ocean to crush ships with his anchor.
Ahri charmed them, btw those two are brothers. Darius (with the huge battleaxe) and Draven (with the throwing axes) To answer your question about the weapon, Jax (purple guy) is using a street lamp. He's a grandmaster of arms so he uses a lamp to handicap himself.
You know, I've rewatched this cinematic a bunch of times now, but I've only now just realized that Ahri probably did this (4:44) because she saw Leona was still alive and conscious and wanted to get Darius and Draven away from her so she can safely recover. Neat.
Ahri has a skill called ‘charm’ thats what she did after leona the girl with shield got hit. Basically to provoke the enemy so they would chase her and leave leona to recover.
Jax uses a street lamp and as he says in his dialogue, "Imagine if I had a real weapon!" because in his lore and in game, Jax is an absolute beast. The giant metal dude is Nautilus, he's from under the sea in Bilgewater, he may be big, but he kinda small compared to champions like Galio, Mordekaiser, and other creatures from Bilgewater. If you want more league cinematics to look at, I would like to see "The Path" and/or "The Lesson", which features Akali ;)
Bro, at 4:52 you said ahri did something.. That skill is called like "passional Kiss". When Ahri did this spell, her enemies have to follow her. That is kind of magic. Ahri is pulling them to trap right there.
I read some comments already recommeding the new Lol cinematic for you, the Ruination. You should really check it out! But if I can give an advice, you should watch this triology first, for better understanding: 1. Senna: The Dark Passage 2. The Climb 3. Senna: The Shadow's Embrace They all part of the story of Lucian and Senna, the two main characters in them.

2014 cinematics but still my personal favorite. RIOT had balls back then and wasn't afraid to show blood and death of the characters. - In the begining when they attacked Ahri's teamate (Leona) she used in game skill (charm) to lure them away from her. She used the same skill in one of the K/DA music video "Pop Stars" (with the pink hearth in the laundry). The other skill with the orb is exactly the same in the game - it goes through the enemy and back to Ahri. - The red hair character is Katarina - she is an assassin - Funn fact - At the end they need 3 ultimate skills to take Darius down, almost same like in the game - he is kind of OP. PS: Sorry for my poor english.

So all of the things you see them do in the cinematic are what they do in game. It's a lamp post lmfao Graves is badddaasss, and the shot he grabs at the end is called "The big one" and that's his ultimate. Except for in game he fires it out of his gun. I really appreciated that they used it in that creative way, him slamming it against the wall to take out Nautilus. Nautilus - giant fucking scuba diver, he is massive in game as well. Not that much of a discrepancy but he is a biiiiiiggg boy. Zyra, plant lady, she roots people which she tries to do to Ahri, and she grows plants that attack people. She tried to use them as a shield apparently not knowing that Ahri's ball goes through objects. Rengar, angry kitty, hes an assassin and actually does go invisible. I loooved the animation of him reappearing. Katarina - assassin, she's in a lot of the other cinematics. She has a teleport/dash which is what she tries to do out of the tree to hit Graves. That's all the champions :)

It's also been changed significantly since this old trailer. And continues to change so its good to get caught up. But also to not be confused about old lore.
19:15 - She used one of her abilities, Charm, to lure the two guys away from her friend, because she doesn't want them to find out she's still alive and finish her off.
Also, the part at the end, with the 9 tails and the 3 orbs, is her ultimate ability. She does up to three dashes, each of which sends a ball of energy at a nearby enemy for damage, which is depicted exactly in the video.

Yeah, Nine-tailed fox, or Gumiho. Her ability Charm is in Japanese and Korean legends of Gumiho too.
You can actually see this ability in "Pop Stars" video. She uses it when she appears 2nd time, just after showing her 9 tails. She throws a heart onto the camera (which is constantly moving away). The camera stops and for a second is actually dragged towards Ahri. This is how it works. When you're charmed, you lose control over movement and have to follow her for a few seconds.

Well IIRC it's sort of her current design as in it's not quite that, with the dress(?) part being a bit longer and the shoulder area not quite as exposed and wide, the CGI/lore design at least the in-game model is still more or less this. Still the black haired version is the "true" Ahri with KDA being a themed skin.
I prefer Ahri design in the Ruined King game better, it shows her feral side more than her seductress side

One of Ahri's abilities is that she can charm her opponents. Meaning that she can telepathically force people to follow her. So that's what she did there in the scene where the saturation faded. She saved Leona(yellow gal with the shield) by charming the two guys to herself so that they wouldn't actually kill Leona.
21:10 look at that transition from Rengar clawing away at Draven to Graves shooting at Katarina. It's so subtle, but it keeps you from realizing they need to show 4 different fights at the same time.
Every scene with Leona (sword/shield woman) is my fav from this, because everything from how she goes through the tree (opposed to over or under), takes the axe for Ahri and comes back to fight even though she's hurt, it all embodies the "fantasy" of playing Leona, I think. It's so well done.

A nice touch is at 4:50 where you can tell that Ahri used her charm ability on Darius (guy with the giant axe) but not Draven (the other guy who actually happens to be his brother in lore). You can tell because if you look closely Darius is the one who gets angry and runs after Ahri while Draven just glances at him for a second before just following his lead, assuming that Darius had landed a killing blow on Leona (lady in golden armor) and that he was moving on to his next target

The red-haired woman is Katarina. She's a magic-assassin type of character. Her signature weapons are "daggers" but they are pretty much the same size as swords. The biggest thing about her though is her "Shunpo" which is an instant teleport/dash
The character design of Ahri (gumiho) in this video is what she actually looks like in the canon lore universe. The model design in the KDA music videos is part of an alternate lore universe where she is portrayed as a popstar. So crazy, she has gazillions of skins in-game with their own respective alternate universes.

Oh god i LOVE your reactions to these. I had the same reaction when Leona saved Ahri at the end. I was yelling “YES YES SHE ALIVE!!” Keep these reactions going! Also that Bleach reference you said 🤣. Also at 19:00 Ahri used her "Charm" Ability on them both. In the game it can only hit one person, but here they made it so she effects everyone she choices thus saving Leona. I loved that scene cause so many didn't pick up on it when it released back then, but you with the 200 iq got it instantly.

I dunno if it's what you're thinking of at 26:28, but Sun Tzu had a term for when you have the enemy on one side and a cliff on the other: Death ground.
It's the one situation where you never engage, because if people are engaged in a fight in which they know there's no escape, they'll fight more viciously (and obediently) than in any other situation. (I'm pretty sure The Art of War explicitly says the only way to intelligently engage an army that's on death ground is to let them know they're boned and wait for them to give up.)
This cinematic reflects characters' personality really well. For example Draven(you know him from awaken,arena) is an executioner and doing his work for show. He thinks he is super cool and he loves himself a lot. In this cinematic he pushed Zyra (plant girl) and wanted to execute ahri himself. Also when Rengar is on him he still showed that he is not afraid.
And Graves(the guy with shotgun) saw a lot and almost nothing surprises him. You can see that when Rengar is done with Draven he just looked and did like "OK. This is usual." When he blows up that rock with a bullet you can see "end of line" on that bullet so he is ready for everything. And there are more like this. And please please react to "breathe-legends of runeterra" you won't be disappointed.

Firstly what Ahri did - her I would say core spell is named Charm - she charms you, she makes you fall in love with her and run towards her so she can hit you. She made this to distract them so she could get some time to run. And another Ahri's spell was shown while fighting the the "flower character", she throw a kind of an orb forwards, and then it comes back to her (this spell is normally blue, but when Ahri hits some amount of spells, she sometimes throws green one and that heals her). Secondly about the "pirate chick", this is Katarina and she is assassin, so she is jumping a lot and is pretty fast. She is not the pirate chick, it's Miss Fortune, that also has kind of red hair, but she is more like pirate hunter.

27:14 aren't those actually 2 abilities one after another? Of course she charges "spirit rush" (R) to finish Darius, but those 3 orbs floating around her could be "fox fires" (W) - 3 homing projectiles that rush towards closest enemy. She loses those just after first attack of spirit rush.
19:04 Ahri charmed(in game skill) the enemies to lure them away from her ally or else they finished her off.
When you asked what weapon the guy in the purple cloak uses, it's a lamppost. He's such a weapon master that when he started fighting in the league the masters restricted him to using the lamppost as a weapon. He easily won with that restriction so they took it away as ineffective but now he still just uses it as a personal challenge to himself.

The ball Ahri uses that she tosses and then it comes back is her Q. On the way out it deals magic damage and on the way back it deals true damage (damage which is not affected by things like armor), it's her signature ability. The pink mist you saw that desaturated the image when she was fighting those 2 guys is her E, which is a charm ability that makes the enemy hit walk towards her for a short time, it can be used to escape or to deal massive damage in conjunction with her Q. At the end when she jumps into the air you can see her R, which is her ultimate ability. She gets 3 dashes and when she uses these dashes she gets 3 "spirit orb" kinds of things that strike nearby enemies. There are a TON of more references to the game itself within the cinematic but I thought I'd stay with ahri for now because that's who you're interested in mostly :)

I'm not 100% sure myself but I assume the thing that Ahri did when her eyes turned pruple was using her ability 'Charm' which attracts the character that she hits with it, so I guess she used that to get Draven (Guy with the two throwing Blades) and Darius (Guy with the huge Axe) away from Leona (the Shieldgirl) and the attack Ahri used on Zyra (the Plantgirl) is her ability 'Orb of Deception' which she shoots forward and then it comes back to her dealing additional true dmg.
Opposing teams are, Ahri (The Nine Tailed Fox), Leona (The Radiant Dawn), Rengar (The Pride Stalker), Graves (The Outlaw), Jax (Grandmaster at Arms) versus Draven (The Glorious Executioner), his brother Darius (The Hand of Noxus), Katarina (The Sinister Blade), Zyra (Rise of the Thorns), Nautilus (The Titan of the Depth).

Ahri did one of her ability named Charm. the orb that she throws and came back is an actual presentation of her Q ability, Orb of Deception, she will throw her Orb and comes back to her, giving her some movement speed to move around and place your angle for the elapsed time she threw the orb. with her Passive ability Essence Theft. Jax's weapon is a lampost, he said that he could have killed lots of people if he had a real weapon. That is actuary her Classic Skin, that's what you see in game of you doesn't obtain or bought any skins for her. K/DA Ahri and K/DA All Out Ahri is actually just a skin, as well as Akali, Evelynn, Kai'Sa, and Seraphine.
the girl with red hair is Katarina, The Sinister Blade. She is a Magic/Ability user of Champion, that throws daggers, blinking to and enemy and more throwing Daggers. The ability that she uses to blink to an enemy or monsters even minions but mostly to her dagger on the ground is named Shunpo. She is an Assassin/Mage type of Champion. the ability that Darius used was her Ultimate Ability Noxian Guillotine, he will dunk his axe to his enemy and leave his Passive ability Hemorrhage, where he leaves a DPS damage like Burn to the enemy he damaged. the 3 Orbs + the 3 Dashes is a combination of her 2 abilities, Fox-Fire, where she cast 3 small fox fire, that when she's near an enemy, it will trigger to target the closest enemy, and Spirit Rush 3 separate dashes, that throws 1 fox fire every time she lands near the enemy, don't be confuse coz the does 2 different cast. even though she hadn't used fox-fire, she will still throw a fox-fire if she dashes using her Ultimate Ability, Spirit Rush. and the Crystal-like on the ground from afar is actually their Base or so called Nexus. That is the most important in the game, you have to defend it, and destroy enemy's Nexus to win the Game

These first three are all part of the same kingdom - Noxus. The woman with the sword and shield is Leona, a defender of Mount Targon (a mountain where the Celestial beings are from).
Poison Ivy lookalike is Zyra - a hybrid of human and stranglethorn. Shotgun bloke is Graves, a mercenary from Bilgewater. The leonine hunter is Rengar (A Vastayan like Ahri, except he's Kiilash, while she's humanoid).
The guy that you asked "What kind of weapon is that?" is Jax, Grandmaster at Arms - nobody actually knows what species he is but his weapon, as others have said in the comments, is a... lamp post. One of his taunts in-game is "Imagine if I had a REAL weapon!".
Finally, the Bioshock Big Daddy-looking thing is Nautilus, an undead reanimated human in a huge cursed diving suit.
My favourite part? The little nuances of humour that break up the gritty violence of this - Draven doing a small shrug after stepping on Leona's sword - Graves watching Rengar dice up Draven then doing an "Alright then!" face before running after Katarina - or Katarina doing the funny-haha legsplit and "Whew!" with the knife near her unmentionables - or Graves doing the "Sup?" face after catching Katarina trying to ambush him. These kinds of injections of humour really give the cinematic a real movie-script feel as opposed to a static, recycled video game feel.

The one with spikes on his armor is Darius and he is Draven's brother(this is the bored 'Prince' in the awaken cinematic). The reason why there was blood when he assaulted Leona was because it's part of his ultimate . That whole jump sequence to the bleed is his ult; in game he jumps at you and after 2-3 more seconds, his bleed deals damage after he did his ult.
Yes, it's part of Ahri's abilities when her ball returns. It is her Q and after hitting a few damage, her Q glows green from blue and she heals herself for a bit. The Then ending part was her ultimate, she dashes 3 times and can use abilities after/before dashes.
"What is that??" - The big submarine thing is named Nautilus and is a tank support in game though is abilities are not that big in game.
Rengar(the tiger/cat with yellow blue eyes fighting Katarina) has an invisible ability, that's his ultimate(press R) . He goes invisible but when he jumps on an enemy they get stunned and he can "shred" damage on you.
Zyra or Ivy as you called, has those plants and grows as her passive, she leaves flowers on the ground that she activate later with her skills to grow into attacking plants.
Graves, 'mad respect dude who used a bullet to bring a boulder down now has 2 shots before reloading, it looks like in the cinematic, he used to have 3.
You have to watch Tales of Runeterra:Double-double cross now. It's a cinematic for League' s card game called Legends of Runeterra.
Also just a tip from one League player who knows more to a newbie, when in the jungle, focus on your buffs(red brambleback, blue sentinel) and on objectives(baron, rift herald, dragons)
Blue sentinel gives you mana back but if you're using a champion that doesn't rely on mana, you don't need this.
Red brambleback gives you health back so this is good for all champions to take.
21:46 The transitions like this I think are important since you have a 5v5 throughout the whole cinematic so it's kind of important to show that these teams have multiple fights going on at the same time... Rather than it being just 5 1v1s in a very orderly yet unrealistic manner, you have a 5v5 where each person is dealing with 1-2 enemies at a time and they're all expected to be participating in the fight until the 5v5 is over (once they've been revealed anyway)... Moving the camera from one fight to another before the first fight has finished kinda shows how chaotic things are with all these fights happening at the same time even if on screen there's still basically only 1 fight between a few people at a time...
When Ahri's eyes change colour. It is her using a Charm ability to get Darius and Draven away from Leona. Katarina is the red head, she's an assassin obviously. The knife cat is Rengar, he's from a race called Vastaya. Jax is the one with the Lamppost, he doesn't use a real weapon because he's a Master Of Arms and doesn't feel it'd be fair if he had a real weapon. Zyra is the Ivy character. (Ahri uses her Q ability to defeat Zyra it's a ball of light/magic that she throws out and it boomerangs) The giant tank character is Nautilus, he's a legendary monster that lives in Bilgewater and is actually really interesting if you read about his lore. He's kind of a toll collector/guardian. The guy with the big gun is Graves, he's also from Bilgewater. Check out the Bilgewater Legends of Runeterra short for some interesting stuff with him in it. I missed a bunch of details, but that's what I got for you. Check out Tales of Runeterra for some lore related cinematics. This one is just 10 champions on the Rift with no lore to it at all.

Nautilus is the big guy with the anchor. Fun fact - each champion got their own sort of signature sounds, so as each one is on screen, certain instruments are used. they couldn't get one they liked for Nautilus, so they actually recorded the sounds in the water, which causes the reverberating sounds.
Jax isn't allowed to use a real weapon canonically because he's too good at fighting, so he gets a weird staff-like thing

so, in order of appearance we have ahri (who you know) and leona, who is a member of the solari who worship the sun, the beam of light at the end is her ultimate ability. Next we have katarina an assassin from noxus who can teleport, followed by darius who is a general from noxus who killed his own captain when he called for a retreat, next up is his brother draven, hes the executioner from noxus and he loves making a show of his job. The plant lady is zyra....shes poison ivy....next up is the man with the gun, graves, he is from a place called bilgewater where he works as a sort of bounty hunter along side his brother, the lion man is rengar, a ferocious warrior who used to be very weak, he was thrown into the wild and basically left to die, but instead he honed his skills and later returned as the strongest of his kind (though he was still bested by a bug, but thats another story) the hooded man is jax, he wields an icathian staff that can purge the void from the world, but he mostly uses it to beat people up. Lastly we have nautilus, nautilus is a bit of an oddity, everyone in bilgewater knows to follow one rule "pay the tithe" if a captain doesnt toss a coin into the waters when setting sail, their ship meets a terrible end and is dragged to the bottom of the sea, also the cinematis doesnt do him justice here, the dud is MASSIVE, he can stand up out of the ocean to crush ships with his anchor.
Ahri charmed them, btw those two are brothers. Darius (with the huge battleaxe) and Draven (with the throwing axes)

You know, I've rewatched this cinematic a bunch of times now, but I've only now just realized that Ahri probably did this (4:44) because she saw Leona was still alive and conscious and wanted to get Darius and Draven away from her so she can safely recover. Neat.
Ahri has a skill called ‘charm’ thats what she did after leona the girl with shield got hit. Basically to provoke the enemy so they would chase her and leave leona to recover.
Jax uses a street lamp and as he says in his dialogue, "Imagine if I had a real weapon!" because in his lore and in game, Jax is an absolute beast. The giant metal dude is Nautilus, he's from under the sea in Bilgewater, he may be big, but he kinda small compared to champions like Galio, Mordekaiser, and other creatures from Bilgewater. If you want more league cinematics to look at, I would like to see "The Path" and/or "The Lesson", which features Akali ;)
Bro, at 4:52 you said ahri did something.. That skill is called like "passional Kiss". When Ahri did this spell, her enemies have to follow her. That is kind of magic. Ahri is pulling them to trap right there.

This was what got me amazed with Cinematics
2014 cinematics but still my personal favorite. RIOT had balls back then and wasn't afraid to show blood and death of the characters.
- In the begining when they attacked Ahri's teamate (Leona) she used in game skill (charm) to lure them away from her. She used the same skill in one of the K/DA music video "Pop Stars" (with the pink hearth in the laundry). The other skill with the orb is exactly the same in the game - it goes through the enemy and back to Ahri.
- The red hair character is Katarina - she is an assassin
- Funn fact - At the end they need 3 ultimate skills to take Darius down, almost same like in the game - he is kind of OP.

You should check out the stick figure spotlights for League of legends! Even though its stick figures the later ones are really well done.

So all of the things you see them do in the cinematic are what they do in game. The first part where you asked what Ahri did, I think they were simulating her Charm ability, but her literally throwing a heart out in game to charm someone would have looked hokey and weird in the cinematic.
So Leona, the girl with the shield is a tank, and her whole thing is she uses the power of the sun.
You know Ahri, at the end that's her ultimate ability and she does get all nine tails, and can dash 3 times in game when she casts it.
Darius and Draven are brothers

Graves is badddaasss, and the shot he grabs at the end is called "The big one" and that's his ultimate. Except for in game he fires it out of his gun. I really appreciated that they used it in that creative way, him slamming it against the wall to take out Nautilus.
Nautilus - giant fucking scuba diver, he is massive in game as well. Not that much of a discrepancy but he is a biiiiiiggg boy.
Zyra, plant lady, she roots people which she tries to do to Ahri, and she grows plants that attack people. She tried to use them as a shield apparently not knowing that Ahri's ball goes through objects.
Rengar, angry kitty, hes an assassin and actually does go invisible. I loooved the animation of him reappearing.
Katarina - assassin, she's in a lot of the other cinematics. She has a teleport/dash which is what she tries to do out of the tree to hit Graves.
