The last fight, because it was was actually two fights together. The one we saw was in the dark-haired guy's head, where he fought with the literal embodiment of "death." The second one, which we didn't see, was real and involved the enemies around him. The real scene was what we saw in the beginning, and also when his wife came to help him by shooting the last two enemies with arrows. A perfectly created scene.

I saw very few people commenting on a certain detail, which leads me to believe that it was little noticed.
At the end of Aatrox's scene, we can see the silhouette of Kindred's Lamb in the middle of the flames, an allusion to Aatrox's death.
At the end of the scene with the older Yasuo (or Yasuo's master, I'm not sure) we can see that the arrow hitting him is a shining arrow, unlike the others, it is the Kindred arrow, also an allusion to the character's death.
Besides, of course, Tryndamere fighting death during his ultimate (red eyes)
Obs.: It is also interesting that Morgana and Kayle are Valkyries fighting against Aatrox in the context of Aatrox's death, as Valkyries according to mythology are female figures who guide the souls of the dead to the hall of the pagan god Odin.

@@dragonkiin I know that it's 99% how you say, expecially since after kindred vanishes we see him actually fighting normal foes, but at one point wolf damages his shoulder pads with very clear teeth/claw marks, and we see that damage even after kindred disappears
Another little detail that is up to interpretation is that Lamb sends 2 arrows which he both parries, could be a metaphor that there is a part of him that is ready to accept his death, but the undying rage fights that urge?

  • @qlBlitzlp

The cinematic tells the story of the past, present and possible future from the perspective of Kindred (wolf and lamb). Separate, but never parted, Kindred represents the twin essences of death. Lamb’s bow offers a swift release from the mortal realm for those who accept their fate. Wolf hunts down those who run from their end, delivering violent finality within his crushing jaws. The video begins with the lamb's phrase in the game:"Tomorrow is a hope, never a promise."
We first see Tryndamere on the battlefield. Deep in the forest, he sees a lamb approaching (2:16).
The first story tells about the past. Two sisters - Morgana and Kayle, daughters of Mihira (aspect of justice), defeated Aatrox. This part is also about death by the wolf because we don't see the lamb's arrow.
In the passage through the fire we can see the lamb again (3:30).
The second part tells us about a possible future. This is why Yasuo looks old. In the shadow of the forest we can see a wolf (4:43). And a lamb's arrow (not literal lamb's) flying towards Yasuo, who accepted his fate.
In the third part we return to Tryndamere in the present. Who fights Kindred, it's a metaphor, he's just fighting for his life. With the help of the fury of blood magic, he does not accept death. The arrows fired by Ashe, his wife, bring us back to reality.
The moral is that Kindred, as essences of death, is timeless and as the song says, "Still Here".
P.S. I used Google Translate, sorry if I made a mistake somewhere.

Something that bugs me is that we never see the Wolf in the story of the past, we only see Lamb's silhouette in the flames. We know that Aatrox (the darkin) cannot die but its host can. My theory is that the Lamb claimed the host's soul because he willingly gave it this way after being corrupted by Aatrox for such a long time. So there are 2 persons who accepted their death so far, the last fight is the most intense point of action in this cinematic because, unlike Yasuo and Aatrox's host, Tryndamere refuses to die, at that point the Wolf intervenes.

The scene with tryndamere and kindred was such an incredible metaphor since he sees kindred but is not fighting kindred, he’s actually fighting the soldiers and kindreds waiting for the moment to take him, yet she can’t because of his undying rage which peeked her curiosity with the head tilt. So we’ll done 👏 👏👏

    • @anaalina5964
      @anaalina5964 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +22

It's not because of his rage, you can see she still shoots him after the head tilt 5:20. It's because Ashe came to save him, so he was no longer in 'danger of dying'(at least from the solders) thus Kindred has no right to kill Trynda, because it's not his time.

    • @everlygod2873
      @everlygod2873 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

@@anaalina5964 I’m pretty sure they even confirmed that wasn’t the reason trynd didn’t die there, for one trynd is immortal, due to aatrox stabbing him, he gave trynd blood magic for the case of being the next potential vessel. And 2nd off, kindred did not shoot for two reasons, yes it is Ashe for one but it’s deeper than that, trynd cannot die, literally, so no matter how much she tries to kill him, trynd would just bounce back from immortality, so her not shooting him doesn’t change anything for the fact that he can’t be claimed. And when Ashe came, that was actually TRYND making kindred set sail for another day to meet him in the future again. Because by now, trynd has probably “fought her” countless of times due to his curse. But that’s abt it.

    @Switkishz 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +153

Context: This cinematic is described as the "Past, Present, and Possible Futures" and if you noticed between each transition, there is very small image of Kindred as she comes to claim each soul's life, in the fire when Morgana burns Aatrox and her eyes in the faint woods as Yasuo accepts his death with the arrow being shot at him
The first two characters you see (the angels) are Morgana (Purple Wings), and Kayle (White Wings) the twin Aspects of Justice. They're also sisters wielding two halves of their mother's blade (their mother was the previous Aspect of Justice). That scene takes place in the past of what we know of the lore right now, during a siege on a kingdom called Demacia, which happened in ancient times.
To be an Aspect is kind of like being an avatar for a god. The person they're fighting is Aatrox, who, at one point, was also kind of an avatar for godly powers, but was corrupted by blood magic, and effectively "cursed" to never die. He now seeks the destruction of all existence in the hopes that he could finally rest. The last bit of the scene seems to be meant to show the differences in Kayle and Morgana's personalities. Morgana will sink to any low she needs to in order to do what is right, whereas Kayle sees herself above it all, looking at her position as an Aspect as far more important than it possibly is. Since this is the past, this is technically before Kayle and Morganna split and go separate ways on deciding how to deal Justice. But you can definitely tell Kayle is now mad at Morganna for using magic and two, throwing down there's mother sword.
The second scene is of the future, in a small village in a land called Ionia. The old samurai is a character by the name of Yasuo, a master of a powerful wind technique. He's had a life of disgrace, and hardship, failing to save his master who taught him the wind technique, being blamed for his death, and then having to kill his own brother who hunted him down. Clearly, when he grows old, he finds a place in the small village, and lives there in peace until it's attacked, prompting him to take up a sword in defense of the people. The scene is pretty self-explanatory, but it's a very strong moment for League of Legends fans for sure.
The final scene is my favorite. The whole video starts with the line "Tomorrow is a hope. Never a promise." This line is spoken by Lamb, one half of the character known as The Kindred. The Kindred serve as the Grim Reaper of the world of League of Legends. The story goes that Death was so lonely that it split itself in two, so it would "always have a friend". One half is the Lamb, and the other half is the Wolf. Lamb represents the peace in acceptance of death, wielding a bow to deliver a swift end, and Wolf represents the violence of rejecting and running from death, being literally a beast that mauls anything that tries to escape. You only see them when they've decided your time has come.
The character we zoom in on at the end is Tryndamere, a barbarian king of the Freljord (Frel-yord). At the very beginning, he seems to be in a battle for his life against surrounding forces. When we reach the end, his vision shifts to a darker scene, and the image of the Kindred come into his view. Wolf is on the offensive, because Tryndamere is trying to fight for his life. Lamb tries to deliver shots that will end him quickly, but it seems Lamb is surprised to see that Tryndamere has a power that lets him avoid death for a short time (which is what the red in his eyes means) (If I am correct based off lore, he is infused with blood magic which technically allows him to become immortal when on the brink of death). It catches them off guard and lets Tryndamere almost get a blow in. While Wolf attempts to maul him, Lamb tries to go for one final strike, when Ashe, the frost archer, and wife of Tryndamere, arrives and kills two of the men that were attacking him. The Kindred and their darkness fade away, indicating that Ashe's arrival has saved Tryndamere from the Kindred's hunt, and the death he was destined for. As more forces move in against them, Ashe fires a hawk shot into the air to signal their position and call for reinforcements.
In Kindred's story , the "pale man" is them before they split into two.. they're the death symbol in Runeterra and kind of Yin and Yang as well .. there's darkness in the Lamb and Light in the Wolf . Lamb gives the ones that accept death a painless passing and Wolf brutally murders those who run from death . Wolf is deaf , Lamb can't see . Wolf can't understand emotions ,but can feel them ,Lamb can't feel the emotions but can understand them.

I'm fairly sure at the end with Tryndamere, the fight with Wolf isn't really wolf, but the soldiers(yes yes, I know - obvious, but hear me out). However when he goes for a swipe at Kindred, she gets curious. Why? Because she *is* actually there, trying to get her shots in at Tryndamere to put him down, she isn't a metaphor - Wolf however is. She gets surprised, because Tryndamere actually can see her, due to his undying rage. He is dying, but he can't die - thus he is inbetween.
Think about it - all around him there are bodies, where Wolf(soldiers) has been, but where Kindred stood there was no none, he didn't kill anyone there so it would make sense for there to be an enemy there, no? And we all know Ashe was not the one taking arrow shots at him, and there were no visible archers before or after the fight.
Kindred is spectral. She isn't visually "there" when she reaps her kills.
Lamb is the "mercy" aspect of death - accept it, and you'll get a swift, peaceful end. If Lamb kills you, I'd imagine it be something like not waking up from your sleep, as an old man.
Fight it, try to escape, avoid it and Wolf will replace lamb, and deliver a violent, potentially slow, and arguably horrible death.
When Wolf kills you, it's that one time you get set upon by a bear. Raided by bandits, fall off a cliff, disease and illness. A battlefiend in a warzone. Or... being beset upon a squad of soldiers in a frozen forest, fighting for your life.
Lamb and Wolf is there at your end, you can't see them - but they are there, waiting to see what choice you make: acceptance, or defiance. To which they will act accordingly.

Keynote its possibility not the future, but it is represented as the future. The problem is that it's probably going to happend anyways, because he knows and saw how he died. Once you know how you die, you can only die the way you died in the "death prediction". Olaf for example went to a shaman ( or just someone who can tell you the future) and he knows, that he is going to die in bed (Atleast I think it's bed) and he doesn't want to die so lame, but in a fight like a man. Now he is killing seamonsters that literally sink entire boats etc., because he can't die any other way.

Yes, most comments explain these stuff. But I want to draw your attention to something I've never seen anybody talk about:
Yasuo probably has limited power in his old age. He is hesitant to use his powers. He unwraps his hand wraps gradually. And then when he uses his tornado at last (Q3) he is probably choosing to either get the last bad guy or dodge/use windwall. He chooses to get the last guy to save the innocents that guy might kill later, and by doing this, he accepts death with open arms, closing his eyes. Then, of course, Kindred's arrow finds him, not Wolf's teeth.

@@erencanaslan7989 Well, heres another possible point: Yasuo didnt kill the last game, same as he didnt kill all the other guys. He could have just saved him with his tornado from the incoming arrow-storm. And he prob. had still the power in him, to conjure a windwall, but he chose to not do it, and accept his death. Otherwise he wouldnt be taken by the lamb but rather the wolf. Even if you take a choice that brings you certain death, if you are not willing to accept it, the wolf will get you and not the lamb.
And in the scene before the flood of arrows came crashing down, you can see Yasuo closing his eys embracing, that his final day of suffering came and he can rest now.

The sound design is in there it’s just that the song is so good it’s hard to hear it all. You can hear lots of roars, and even Morgana (purple magic) screaming. Specifically in the Yasuo scene you can hear him put up his wind wall and each slash of sword. Some of the sound design is also integrated with the song, a lot of drum beats coincide with impacts on screen and having that with additional sound effects, like armor crashing, would be too much on the ears.

I pulled up the video before watching this, and even then, it brought tears to my eyes. The whole message of "I'm still here," along with the theme of pushing through adversity is very significant to me. I've been through a lot over the last few years. Over the last decade, honestly (though, it was one of those 'if you put a lobster in a pot of cold water and raise the temperature, they won't notice until it is too late' kind of decades). But I've survived it and I'm moving on from all of that, and in the last year, as I've been focusing on rebuilding myself, this whole message of "I may be beaten down and tired, but I am still here despite all of that" is very much frontmost in my brain.
But, apparently, this one is a fully canon cinematic from League, and it is filled to the brim with lore deep cuts. I actually watched a video from Necrit going over the lore in it. I knew... next to none of the lore going into this, but one thing is that the character with the round glowing eyes and the wolf are, fundamentally, this world's embodiment of death, and they show up in each of the three scenes. In the one with the 'valkyries,' as you called them, it doesn't step in because that great demon isn't able to die. In the middle story, you see the wolf as the arrows are flying up to come down on the samurai character (who is the guy with the wind powers, just decades later than the in-game present), and the one that comes straight for him is the same kind of glowing arrow that we see the death archer firing in the last scene, implying that this is his death years later. Most interestingly, the scene implies that he's at a point in life where he has forsaken killing - none of the bandits that he fights are killed. Even the leader, who he blasts with the wind... it seems as though he is knocking him away from the rain of arrows. And the last scene is a character... having a kind of near-death experience, with some of the implications being that he isn't actually fighting death, but rather the warriors who were surrounding him in the first place. Phenomenal storytelling all around!

Awesome stuff as always Chris.. the scene with Kayle(?) and Morganna ( the angels) really hit me, there's a vid on League Lore which dives into the scene and shows how DEEP the portrayal really is, and sort of explains why they made the 'filmmaker choices' that they did.. i'll shoot you a link: maybe there's some meat in it for you on explaining how the Background story can shape a scene.

One thing that Necrit pointed out with the Yasuo scene.
Yasuo's wind ability and his path following the sword had brought him nothing but conflict and grief so in his old age he gave both up (Using the staff and not using his wind). Before he picked up the sword he was realizing he couldnt protect the people he loved (the village and the girl) so he gave up his refusal to not use the sword and wind. He controls the wind and sword but refuses to kill anymore with them which is why he wasnt hitting them but knocking them down. He also saved the leader by pushing him away from the rain of arrows.

The cinimatic hits really hard when you know the lore of the universe...
Gonna try and explain it in a non-essay way lol .This cinematic shows the past , the future and the present and the main focus is about the eventual death that comes for everyone (Kindred , the lamb creature with the wolf is pretty much the Grim Reaper in Leagues' Universe) Kindred/Lamb gives a peaceful death to those who accept their fate with an arrow , and wolf hunts those who try fight against death.
The two Angel-like warriors (Kayle & Morgana) fighting the Demon-looking guy (Aatrox , he is not a demon but a Darkin) is set on the past , the two sisters are basically twins and they were the symbol of justice , we can see one abandon the sword (Morgana stops being the symbol of justice) and Kayle picking her sister's sword and eventually defeating the demon ... In the fire you can see the figure of the lamb but the thing is Aatrox is immortal and can't really die.
The Yasuo part is a bit complicated and confusing , but it shows the future. In short that was the future of Yasuo / a vision?? ...Yasuo tries to live a life where he doesn't kil anyone and after defeating the bandits you can see in the distance the figure of the Wolf and a rain of arrows ... Yasuo chose to accept his fate so kindred claims his life with the arrow.
The greatsword dude fighting kindred (Lamb and wolf) is called Trynda and is the present. Tryndamere previously on the lore got stabbed by Aatrox and pretty much gained the ability not to die (Undying Rage which is also his in-game Ultimate ability to gain invicibility for a short period of time) Trynda in the scene is this weird life and death situtation and is fighting Kindred while in reality he is fighting the human enemies (Not sure about this part??) Ashe , the archer , also his wife gets there in time and eventually stops Kindred from hunting Tryndamere by saving him.
For a more detailed video you can always go to Necrit's channel , that guy is really good at breaking down content and lore related to League of Legends.

The cinematic is being told by kindred, it is both the Lamb znd the Wolf you see at the end and also one of the personification of death in the world of runeterra. You can see in the description that it's about the past, present and possible futures and that Death saw them all so we can find kindred in all scenes of the video. The first time is when you look from tryndamere's eyes (big sword guy in the snow), you can see kindred's blurry silhouette.
The second scene takes place in the past, the two angels are daughters of the demigod of justice and sisters, Kayle (blonde one) and Morgana (purple). They're fighting against Aatrox who wants to destroy the world, the side eye kayle gave morgana after she grabbed her sister's sword is because morgana let go of the sword their mother gave her to use her dark power instead, they only drifted apart from here until morgana decided to let go of her power as an aspect and became akin to a fallen angel. Also you can see kindred's silhouette in the fire after Kayle's attack.
Second take place in the future, it's a vision kindred gave yasuo of one of his possible future. In this future he decided to not kill anymore which is why he was using a pole at first and why you didn't see any blood when he was slashing the other guys. He dies here in this future, killed by Lamb's arrow at the end, you can even see Wolf in the forest made with the trees in case yasuo blocked lamb's arrow. (Lamb gives a peaceful and quick death to those who accepts when their time comes while Wolf gives chase to those who don't and treat them as prey to be killed).
Last scene is the continuation from the first one with trynda and takes place in the present, kindred appears because he's on a battlefield and he was going to die but due to aatrox's blood magic (a little over a thousand years after the fight we saw between him and tge sisters) tryndamere literally gets too angry to die and becomes immortal when on the verge of death. That's why Wolf is fighting him and why Lamb looks confused when trynda cuts the bow, then ashe (tryndamere's wife) appears shoot the two warriors that were fighting against trynda which also were the ones that were supposed to kill him. So when these two died, he wasn't in danger of dying, making kindred's presence unneeded and that's why they disappeared at the end.
That's it for the explanation behind the cinematic (i took way too long to write that, i don't even know why I'm spent energy on that but whatever) but anyway I loved the reaction, keep it up 👍

The cinematic is about The Past, The Present and The Future.
The Past is of Kayle and Morgana, before they decided to go their separate ways of dealing with justice. It also explains how Aatrox already knows them despite not knowing Demacia itself, simply cuz at the time this happened Demacia wasn't Demacia yet.
The Future is of Yasuo, fighting one last time when lonia got invaded again and at the end Kindred kills him while Yasuo accepting the arrow of the Lamb.
The Present is of Tryndamere, and his non acceptance of death, both by the Wolf and the Lamb, due to his partial anger fueled blood magic. Every time he ults (undying rage) he sees the actual death - Kindred, instead of his enemies

    The lore of the cinematic:
In first scene we see Kayle and Morgana, they are fighting side by side both having their powers, when both of them are pushed to their limits Morgana gives away her powers as aspect of justice and binds Aatrox even if for a moment, then we can see Kayle taking Morgana powers representing her taking Morgana's sword and looking at her sister with disgust, when Morgana falls to the ground Kayle ascends and kills the host of Aatrox, we can see lamb in the flames showing his death.
In the second scene we see bandits raiding ionian village and yasuo as old man standing his ground, each time he uses his power bondages on his arm unravel and at the end we can see his acceptance and kindred's arrow ending his life, we can see wolf in the shadows right before arrow falls.
In the last scene we see Tryndamere fighting against a group of enemies, it is represented as him fighting kindred both wolf and lamb refusing to die, his red eyes represent his ability to become immortal for short period of time, in the final scene we can see kindred lowering her bow when ashe saves him from last enemies just in the moment he is about to die, seeing that its not the time to claim tryndamere, kindred disappears.
This cinematic represents that death is timeless showing one scene from the past one from present and one from future, it also shows both aspects of kindred, when Aatrox's host dies we see lamb idle while wolf delivers the final blow, wolf hunts down those who resist death.
When yasuo dies the wolf waits as the lamb's arrow is the final moment. Lamb brings peaceful death to those that accept it, tryndamere fights both wolf and the lamb defying natural order using his powers but in the end does so successfully avoiding death.

The white and black entities at the end are actually a singular entity that is the representation of death. They are the Grim Reaper, basically. The gentle white Lamb is who narrates the beginning dialogue. She represents a peaceful death and the giant black Wolf represents a violent death.
The first scene takes place in an ancient past. All three combatants are immortal beings, but they all bear their own kinds of curses as creatures who cannot be touched by the Kindred. When the demon gets incinerated, Lamb's shape is in the flames briefly, but she and Wolf are not fully present because they cannot touch the demon. This is his own punishment because he is cursed to suffer forever while being unable to be truly slain. He would want nothing more than to be taken by the gentle death that Lamb would normally offer to mortals (though I'd understand if that's not at all apparent).
The second scene takes place in the future. The old man is a master swordsman who used a wind technique for almost his whole life, and his background is when he was young, he was framed for murder and cast out from his society. Ironically, because he was framed for a death he did not cause, he was forced to use his techniques to kill many people in self defense. The scene tells us that in his old age, he wants nothing more than to never kill with this technique ever again (by this point in his life at least). When put in a position where he must defend the innocent, he still refuses to kill the bandits, only incapacitating them with the wind on the blade. And this pacifism in this final fight informs his decision to allow himself to be taken by the gentle arrow of Lamb, which glowed a brilliant light. You can also see briefly before he is taken that in the treeline, the shape of Wolf can be seen, meaning if he pursued the fight further than he did, he would be fighting against a violent and inevitable end.
The final scene takes place in the present, and is a bit more complex. The barbarian here is in between the demon and the old swordsman. He is a man cursed to have a rage so supernaturally powerful that it involuntarily controls him and prevents him from dying. This is why he sits between the other two subjects. Because he is at the cusp of death in battle, his consciousness is transported to a mirrior of the real world, where his soul is fighting against both of the Kindred simultaneously, because that is his burden. In reality, his body is actually fighting the assailants that were surrounding him, but he percieves it as Death itself trying to finally put him down. But the curse keeps him fighting long enough for his wife to come and rescue him. Just before her arrows pass from behind Lamb, you can see Lamb's body language gesture as tho she is recognizing that this is not yet his time. His curse and his partner have delayed him being taken by Them. For now.
In all cases, Death is still here, and always will be. Even when it's not your time, even when you are incapable of being taken, They will witness you forever.

A thing you might have missed about this is in every single scene you can see Kindred. Kindred is known as "personification of death", and people always see her at the "moment of death"
the first kindred you can see when Kayle shoots her flames at aatrox, and you see a shadow display of kindred.
second moment when kindred is "known to be there" is when before going back to Tryndamere, Yasuo saves one of the "bad guys" with his wind technique so he wouldn't get shot by the arrow which then switches to tryndamere's scene, and instead yasuo gets "shot by kindred's arrow"
The third moment why kindred is there, is because at the start of the trailer you can see tryndamere is surrounded by enemies, when he fights "kindred (wolf and lamb)" he's actually fighting the enemies, but also kindred as in "avoiding death". Kindred then disappears after Ashe shoots her 2 arrows, killing the 2 enemies behind tryndamere, saving him from Death itself.
Of course a fact about Tryndamere, that in his ultimate (in this cinematic his eyes become red), he has to fight non-stop to avoid death. That's what he's doing when fighting kindred.
he is fighting "Death itself" it's such a nice idea by Riot.

Hey Chris, just wanted to add a small "hidden" detail. So long story short, Kindred (the little sheep figure with the wolf pet) is like an entity who takes you to the "afterlife" sort of. In each scene where someone dies, first at 1:40 (couple of frames) in the middle of the scene we can see Kindred's shape with her bow in the middle of the flames. Next the death of Yasuo around 2:50 in the middle, right above Yasuo you can see the shape of Kindred's wolf. The last part when Tryndamere actually sees Kindred and her wolf, he actually manages to fight "death" because of his "power" Undying Rage which makes him not be able to die so he actually manages to fight Kindred back until being saved (so he gets back into the real world where Ashe, his wife, saves him).
Personally these hidden hints at Kindred just made this trailer incredibly well done for me, they are barely noticeable, just like a Reaper/Death should be.

Yasuo did not kill the soldiers becasue of his past, as he's somewhat of a master of wind he went the path of Wind but it never led him to a good times, he only kept killing more and more people on his path (also killing his own brother Yone), so in his scene he doesn't want to pick up the sword, but when he picks it up you can see he is only pushing them away with a "blast of wind" not killing them. That's why this cinematic is so perfect.

  • @sniclops15
    @sniclops15 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

"And he's not even touching them."
    YES! HE NOTICED!
Yasuo always resented his wind magic, as it was the evidence placed against him that led to his exile. In his old age, Yasuo resorts to avoiding combat with his wind magic, and chooses a non-lethal weapon, the staff. When he realizes that the staff won't be enough against the band of marauders, he picks up a blade dropped by one of them, using his wind magic, once again, as a nonlethal means to knock the marauders away. Him using the tornado to push the last guy was not just to knock the guy away, but to get him out of the way of the incoming arrow storm, which claimed Yasuo's life, the killing arrow glowing to represent the merciful swift death of the Kindred duo Lamb

    Chris Curious fact:
Kindred /the goat with the wolf/ represents death in the Lol universe.
If you accept your death gently, the goat will put an arrow in your heart. On the other hand, if you refuse to die, the wolf will consume your soul.
In the first part of the short, we can see how he appears among the fire claiming the soul of Aatrox /the demon/.
In the second you can see how Yasuo accepts his destiny of dying and Kindred shoots him an arrow, you can also see the wolf lurking in the forest from which the arrows come. Yasuo chooses to kill the leader of the bad guys instead of saving himself, so he accepts his death graciously.
And in the last section you can see Tryndamer /the Viking/ who is clearly dying but his special ability is to recover all his wounds when he is at death's door. Kindred tries to give him a dignified death, but since he refuses to die, he has to fight the wolf.
The first part is in the past, the second is a possible future and the third is almost in the present.
The cut is about the Kindreds who basically were and will always be to claim the souls of the dead.
    Greetings.

Some context: This cinematic is described as "Past, Present, and Possible Futures."
The scene with Kayle, Morgana, and Aatrox is set centuries ago in ancient Demacia (the magic racism nation). Aatrox is a Darkin who wants to destroy the world so he can finally die, and Kayla and Morgana are the twin Aspects of Justice. Here, you can see that where Kayle embraces her divine heritage (Aspect mother, mortal father) and shuns her humanity, Morgana is hesitant and prefers to use her dark (but not evil) magics to bind Aatrox. Put simply, Kayle is absolute justice (i.e. basically every crime is punishable by death) whereas Morgana believes in compassion and second chances.
The second scene is with Yasuo, who is an old man in this timeline. The official line from Riot is that this is a vision sent to Yasuo by Kindred (the Lamb and Wolf who are a spirit of death). It is a "possible future," but not the future. In the end, the arrow that flies toward him is the arrow of Lamb, which is for those who accept their death, as Yasuo does here.
Finally, the last scene is in the present day. Tryndamere was fighting off members of the Winter's Claw tribe and was severely wounded, whereupon he entered his Undying Rage (blood magic that makes him basically immortal). Here, he is shown to be fighting off Kindred because he has not accepted that he will die that day. Kindred are composed of Lamb and Wolf. Lamb grants the mercy of her arrows to those who accept their death, whereas Wolf hunts down those who run from their death. In the end, Kindred relent because Tryndamere is saved by Ashe, his Oathsworn (basically a political marriage, but they started to grow feelings for each other after a while). It's actually hinted that the battle with Kindred was in Tryndamere's mind, and in reality, he was fighting off the Winter's Claw, but he saw it as fighting off literal Death.

In fact, there is a lot of symbolism and hidden details in this cinematic.
If you haven't noticed, then I'll help you
When Kayle burns Aatrox, Kindred the Sheep was visible in the fire, standing on one leg and simply watching Aatrox, but doing nothing, because Kindred is the personification of death and death cannot take Aatrox because Darkins are immortal.
Also at the moment when grandfather Yasuo closes his eyes at the last moment, accepting his death, and millions of arrows are flying at him and in the distance 2 eyes of the wolf Kindred are visible, and in the middle the arrow of the Sheep flies, which gives Yasuo an easy death.
In the fight with Tryndamere, Kindred again comes to take him away, but at this moment he fights with death itself . Tryndamere also cannot die and the sheep was surprised during their battle, so she lowered the arrow at the end because it dawned on her that she could not take him either

The part where Morgana and Kyle fight aatrox in the sky is designed to make the figure of the darkin strong as it’s and Kyle and Morgana witch haven’t ascended to divinity yet are not on same level without morganas power so in the me lee fight the darkin movements aren’t affected by Morgana and Kyle that’s the reason on this decision to not make the sound clashy the stability of aatrox can’t be affected by 2 humans

Let's speak some lore here Mr. Connor, cause whole cinematic is lorewise
( 4:46 part ) You see Tryndamere (barbarian) and Kindred (Lamb & Wolf) there. Kindred is a force of nature that takes souls when they're about to die. The lamb kills whoever accepting their fate and wants to die peacefully. The wolf kills who resists to die, and it enjoys that a lot! About Tryndamere, he has an Undying Rage (that red eyeglow) and prevents him to die. There you can see him resisting against death itself, just watch how Wolf wants to take his soul so bad. Then Ashe (queen of Tryndamere and his beloved) comes and saves him from death, then Kindred disappears. Tryndamere holds on life.
After you read this, please watch Yasuo's ending again.

A thing you slightly missed but I think you don't know the lore of the champions, you can see Kindred in every scene (kindred is like the grim reaper in this universe, The Lamb-peaceful deathh and the Wolf-Painful death). In The Scene with Aatrox (big Demon) VS Kayle and Morgana (Angels) at the end after Kayle burns Aatrox you see the Shiluet of Kindred in the fire watching but not doing anything (As Aatrox is Imortal Kindred can not claim his life). At the next with old Yasuo the last arrowstorm could have been easily blocked by Yasuo but he dosen't, and from the rain of arrows you can see the blue Arrow of the Lamb (kindred) going right for him as he accepted his death. In the last scene Tryndamere (the Barbarian) usese his Ultimate which makes him pseudo Imortal for a few seconds, time during which he is on the brink of death (Reason for Kindred to try and take his life but stops when it realizes that he can't die). You could theorize that while in his Ult Trynda is actually fighting the other Fighters in reality and when his Ult stops he no longer sees Kindred, he sees Ashe (white Huntres) his Wife who is tehnically also the Shilluet in the first shot at the beginning of the Video. The voice at the very beginning of the Video is the voice of the Lamb(kindred) and the entire video shows the interraction between diffrent champions and Kindred (aka Death) would they choose to die like Yasuo and get a swift death or choose to fight death Trynda vs Wolf and those Imune to death liike Aatrox. (the video does not all play in the same timeline though.)

It is noticeable that they use fewer "sounds" but the focus is rather on the song itself. Personally, I like the choice this time as the song is outstanding.
