I dont normally comment, but a few things i gotta say. Number one League of Legends and COD aren't on the same level when it comes to who is the bigger esport. League blows it out of the water. The music video is based of a series Riot Games made called Arcane. Also the Girl you said looks like the girl from twilight's baby, used to date the girl from twilight. Awesome reaction. Love watching.
Imagine Dragons can go from Hard Rock Loud to Soft and Romantic to Emotional and then to Swag and Funky, They Can do anything.

Now i wanna see him react to the 2019 one and see what he thinks of that because in terms of scope, that one is the biggest. All i'm gonna say is, they didn't use cgi in 2019, they did something more badass.

If you mean the holograms, technically that still is CGI but nothing like anyone has ever done it before... or nevermind just remembered Gorrillaz did it first but Riot has definitely evolved the tech even more

Craziest part about this is that by LoL opening movie standards, this was limited by COVID. Would 100% recommend going back and watching 2019 in Paris for a real insight into what a fully blown opening ceremony looks like!

My son has been obsessed with LoL for years now to the point where i didn't want to hear him talk about it anymore but then i watched Arcane with him and now i get it.
My 10 yr old son has memorized this whole song. It's been hard keeping him from a lot of JID's catalog because of the cursing. JID is just 🔥
On the topic of J.I.D, I do think it's a stretch to say he's the best in the game period but I 100% agree he is ONE of the best. And this is coming from someone who has in no particular order Kendrick, Cole, Denzel, JID and Nas in my top 5 of all time. come at me if u think that's a bad take, I admit I could be putting other legends in that list but it's my opinion and I stand by it

bro iam a big JID, cole and kendrick fan but to me Em tops the list nocap, the dude's influence over the rap game and his technical and lyrical ability with the hundreds of flow pockets that we've got to witness is unrivaled

I think the 2020 opener is the one with real life people singing them and they hologram characters into the performance. Looked so dope.
The music and animation are all from Riot and Fortiche production’s Netflix show, Arcane, which is an amazing show. One of the best first seasons of a show I’ve seen recently. Almost Game of Thrones level of intrigue and character development, so far. Just hope they keep up the quality for season 2 and hope more people check Arcane out! You don’t need to know anything about League of Legends to watch it.

just to point out the entire scenes in the video arent all cg either, theyd already built some of the underground for their undercity lights event so the part where bea miller is walking in and the dude is chopping fish, all the way up the street isnt cg but the entire backdrop is CG so it's like a blending of reality and CGI and animated

Like I'm sure seeing this as your first, it's like, wtf, this is mind blowing, but when you know what Worlds does, what the opening of ***EVERY*** Worlds is like, and how hype/hard they go? Yeah. This is just unsurprising
Riot's music and animation have been quality for a very long time. Arcane sprung them and their champions into the limelight. but the music and animation have always been this good..
I also have to say that as you watch more cinematics and music videos, there is a good chance that you will fall in love with the champions (or at least some of them) - you are not the only one. Riot has a way of making their champions unique.
League has a ton of music videos and each worlds has an opening ceremony that always goes hard, its usually in person more on the stage but covid..

I didn't see anyone telling you yet but they used 2 songs for the open.
One was Enemy (Imagine Dragons, JID), from the serie produced by Riot Games Arcane, and the other was Burn It All Down (PVRIS) which is the Worlds 2021 song, they always produce a new song each year for the Worlds.
I highly recomend reacting to the 2018 or 2019 LOL worlds opening ceremony, they were the last ones with a crowd and they go insane

Funny story about PVRIS, they used to be called PARIS years and years back, apparently the band got into legal disputes over the name, and decided to stylize it as PVRIS. I first heard of the band by way of Love Robot (which also had a name change, haven't kept up with either band nearly as much as I'd like to) roughly 5 years ago, so yeah, seeing one of those up and coming indie alt rock bands suddenly get a stage at Worlds that one year sort of took me aback (like The Word Alive's Telle "Tyler" Smith, which I met back when he first took over for the band at a concert with Eyes Set to Kill, and literally the week after at a concert with Silverstein, just had to mention this story, I feel fucking old, and so happy to see talents I saw in my youth get the recognition they honestly deserve and fought for.).
I would love to see a collaboration song with J.I.D and K.a.a.n. me personally I think that would be fire

Imagine Dragons are HUGE League of legends fans and players. They even wrote a song for, and performed for one of the Worlds competitions (I think 2014)? but the animations in this were quick ones, Arcane itself is a fucking work of art, visually, storytelling-wise, and voice acting, and the soundtrack is FIRE. This was also the intro for everyone to Arcane, so it was extremely elaborate, but ALL the Worlds openings are pretty amazing. I mean League created not one but TWO virtual bands, Pentakill (Heavy Metal) and KDA (K-Pop) both with best selling albums (And KDA has AMAZING videos).
I definitely recommend Misfit Toys (Pusha T, Mako) from the soundtrack from Arcane (the animated show league made)
Should be said that the place we go to after the elevator is actually a set they built for this video most if it is not actually CG. If you want you should listen to True Damage - GIANTS, it is a song Riot made in 2019 with several rappers. Also if you haven't already you should definitely check out Arcane.
The Gamebattles site for cod came out in 2003, and League didn't release as a game until 2009. So the cod pro scene has been around much longer than League's.
There is SO MUCH high quality league cinematics, virtual music bands like K/DA and Pentakill made by RIOT studios, lore videos like "TALES OF RUNETERRA", esports related "worlds" open cinematics and almost every single one is a BANGER, i wasn't even playing league when i got into this rabbit hole. If you have any interest you can take a look on "TRUE DAMAGE" and "POPSTARS", as good as i know this is the most popular ones. And i'm not really sure, but it seems like you have not watched "Arcane"series yet, coz there was plenty of related stuff in this video, so if it is like that i recommend it to you not as a fan of the game, but as a fan of quality content, you don't have to know anything about game to watch Arcane, also this is one of the most highly rated series of all time and it brings home 9 Annie Awards, winning in every category it was nominated for. And league reactions also popular af on YT

First time watching you. Since you're new to League and into music with emphasis on rap... you should check out K/DA "More" and K/DA "The Baddest" and K/DA "pop/stars". They are really crazy. K/DA is an animated pop group consisting of 4 league heroes and voiced by real singers. Each song has a rap section voiced by (mainly) Soyeon from the Korean pop group (G) I-dle. She is a very talented rapper who I think you would enjoy. The animated videos are top top notch. For more of Soyeon check out her song "oh my god". She raps in a mix of Korean and English and mixes the two languages seamlessly.

I tried pulling up J.I.D.'s lyrics from Enemy and just saying them aloud to get a feel of what he's doing, and the way he's bouncing back and forth with the rhyme schemes and vowel repetitions, the best I can compare it to is basketball dribbling by a Globetrotter. It's insane!

You are wrong, Fortiche`s animation mainly uses 3-D CG character models, however the props and effects are all 2-D hand-drawn animations and many of the backgrounds and close-ups are matte paintings in the style of Renaissance-era Parisian oil paintings(Because Fortiche is in Paris which influenced the look of Piltover in the series whereas Zaun much like in the source material is based on Los Angeles and Victorian London).Also, there`s no motion capture in the series, however the characters are modeled after their VAs like in motion capture.

I have been a long time subscriber of the channel. To be specific probably ever since your first NF upload, so yes, i am apart of the NF train baby. Let's go! With that being said, I honestly think you are genuinely one of the best reactors in the game. I used to watch you all the time for songs I want to have broken down, and just hear reactions for. Ive heard every single NF song breakdown from you, and I love them. Now, I've also been playing League of Legends for many years... since 2013 roughly. Before that I played Call of Duty since 2007 with Call of Duty 4. I also used to think Call of Duty was the beginning of eSports, but was i fucking wrong. Call of Duty is a fucking baby in the eSports scene. Games like Counter Strike, Dota, League and Starcraft were WAY fucking ahead of CoD in both/either viewership or supportship. I used to worship CoD cuz it was all i knew, but bro... its so small compared to everything else. Especially NOW. And if you dont believe me look into it. look at viewership for each game championship. counterstrike always beats cod. look at prize money. fuck for prize money look at fortnite. cod is a B tier esport compared to the big dogs. I think cod had what it took in the old days, but now.... its trash. Last cod i played seriously was Black Ops 2. Funny enough... thats what every cod player asks for in competitive play is bo2 league play. When I heard you talking about CoD in this reaction with so much confidence i just thought of the old me. Someone who didnt KNOW how big eSports was until i was cheering for it. Trust me, man. It's bigger than you think.
