    • @Nickbaldeagle02
      @Nickbaldeagle02 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@siitan83 it goes back to the days of horse and carriage. You Yanks used to ride horses on the left too. You kept left so that traffic passing the other way could be easier to hack to bits with a sword or shoot as most people are right handed.
      In the late 1700s, however, teamsters in France and the United States began hauling farm products in big wagons pulled by several pairs of horses. These wagons had no driver’s seat; instead the driver sat on the left rear horse, so he could keep his right arm free to lash the team. Since he was sitting on the left, he naturally wanted everybody to pass on the left so he could look down and make sure he kept clear of the oncoming wagon’s wheels. Therefore he kept to the right side of the road.
      Then, it followed suit with cars.
      35% of countries drive on the left.

According to surveys, average driver in UK only does 7400 miles a year so that's just 154 miles a week so charging the car at home once every 10 days or so is more than enough. I can go visit all the way from South West where i live to Glasgow with just 1x supercharging 15 minutes charge and i take longer than that just to go to toilet and take even longer if you go grab some food. You receive constant updates for the life of the car. There is no competitor in it's weight class that out performs it in raw power or practicality. It has a ton going for it. Is it perfect? No. But it certainly ticks a ton of boxes. To say it looks bad is an objectively bad take. It's a classic, well proportioned, timeless design akin to many Porsches. Handling isn't the ONLY factor. Handling will effect your laptimes though, as you can carry more speed through corners. Power to weight will mainly accept acceleration, aka, your straightline performance, which also improves laptimes. But a car that's only good in a straight line with terrible handling isn't going to set good laptimes.@@cobrachannel100
