- This low mile Shelby Gt is super sweet. It runs 93 octane, is a manual trans, and comes in at 9 psi. It has our Detroit Rocker Cams and Pypes Long Tube headers with cats. It is running the factory Shelby GT Mufflers.

Awesome work by you and your guys, Brent. The car was always great, but it is ridiculously fun to drive now. That Edelbrock torque is crazy at low gears. Big thanks for taking the time for pics when we picked it up, and I wanted to thank George for all of his help with my questions and updates during the build. He’s awesome.
Awesome thanks!
Really liking that kit! Esthetically pleasing to boot!
For sure thanks for watching!
Sweet ride and another great build!!
Thanks!
As a Shelby GT owner with the Whipple HO kit installed on mine, those are solid numbers! Awesome work! I recommend the owner install the GT500 brakes as well. Huge improvement!
Thanks for watching!
You read my mind, that is exactly what I plan to do next!
@@PJBrock74 That's what I did, the '07-'09 GT 500 14" front brake kit and the '13/'14 GT 500 rear kit. Much improved stopping power! How's the exhaust sound? I am curious!
Nice car, I dig the Shelby stripes. Those a big numbers out of a 3 valve.
Looks sweet for sure!
3v woooo ❤️🔥❤️🔥🚨🚨🚨👀👀🗣️🗣️
Thanks for watching!
Sick brother can't wait to get my Shelby GT with a Whipple

Needs Brenspeed!!! Very soon!!!
Great video!!
As always!!
THANKS for watching!
Nice car I heard once that with this Supercharger you get more power on the low end. Would you happen to know if this is true?
Yes it’s true in my experience. I have the Paxton on mine. Really good on the big end but on low end not much better than a full bolt on. That being said Throwback Package is absolutely the best for the money.
So to explain a TVS style like this gives you full boost at wide open meaning your torque is going to be high at say 3000. Something like a Paxton the boost comes in a bit slower. Still awesome at 3000 but not as much torque as say this but many people like that. It is a bit easier to get traction on the street. We install a ton of both styles and everybody seems to love both.
@@bullittboost6046 Well, I can't say the same for my Paxton SL-2200 My car is faster than a full bolt around town. Maybe it's because of my competition cam 127400 she definitely rips in the low end.
@@danielroberson5421 I only have 1200 Paxton Non intercooled with stock cams. Is yours a 3v? Mine isn’t slow but it’s definitely happiest at the high range. Does to seem to be a little bit happier without charge motion plates.
@@bullittboost6046 It's a Brenspeed built 5.0 3valve.
What oil do you recommend for the 3V w/ Paxton 2200? 5w20 or 5w30?
The only reason Ford didnt recommend 5w-30 from factory is because of fuel economy (they got 1 more mpg with 5w-20 opposed to 5w-30) and sacrificed wear prevention. Every other ford modular engine uses 5w-30 and they all have basically the same exact short block. So its not even a tolerance issue. Go 5w-30 on a modular. Been using 5w-30 weight on mine for 10 years
We like 5W30 full synthetic. Choose your brand. We use Amsoil but there are so many brands out just google around and pick one based off of what you like to hear and what others like. Oil is always a big question on "what brand" everybody has a favorite.

Not a Shelby
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shelby_Mustang#2006%E2%80%932007_Ford_Shelby_GT - looks like a Shelby to me!
CSM# 08SGT1758. Carroll might disagree…
Not a Shelby GT500 correct, but yes a Shelby GT built in 08 vehicle number 1758. Thanks for watching!
