I have a 6 speed 2.0. I love it. Still fast. Good on gas. I had a v8 hemi before this, so that was nice. Weighs about as much as my 5.0 and drives pretty well in the snow.
When I replaced my factory mufflers with bypass pipes I kept hearing a sound through the exhaust like I was hitting the gas and I was not. Someone told me it was the AFM system going back to 8 cylinders, And I hadn't heard it before because of the quiet exhaust. I never hear anyone talk about this
I'm really considering this for my Camaro, I love everything about it besides the unimpressive sound. I have a few questions for the creator or anyone still reading this a year later. What effect will this have on HP, MPG, and overall reliability. Can it void my warranty? Can it help with Turbo lag?
Hp, MPG, and overall it isn’t going to change much aside from noise and you might see a slight increase in mpg because the exhaust is better at expelling built up gasses, however it will certainly void any warranty on the vehicle since it requires fabrication. Hope this helps and if I’m wrong please let me know!
So if I wanna add this with the catted downpipes can I put another mid pipes to make it even louder ? If so what mid pipe would work the best that has a cat for legality purpose ?
I have an MRT V2 with a ZZP catted down pipe. If I keep those and replace the exhaust in between with 3 in stain less steel pipe will it make it louder?
I have this done to my 2.0 but the rear bumper shakes and rattles in the wind now with no muffler in front of it it's like a sail. Any suggest on a fix?
Hello @jalapenjoe210! A tune will not be necessary if you are only replacing your OEM axle-back or cat-back section with an aftermarket option. If you are modifying your down pipe then a tune will be necessary.
I own a 2020 2.0l turbo Camaro, and want a more aggressive, throatier sound. Do you recommend this exhaust system? Also I have the k&n air intake in my car.
This system will give you an aggressive sound and it is easily installed. Hopefully the sound clips in this video help you give you a good sense of what the system would sound like.
I have a 2021 2.0 turbo camaro, I’m after the same sound. I just did some exhaust work on mine. I straight piped mine and it sounds a lot louder then this still looking to see how I can go louder lol

No reason to laugh with a question that is valid. Changing the muffler or installing an axle-back will be an improvement over the stock exhaust. There are different systems, so what sounds good to you might be different when it comes to someone else. If you want to compare the axle-back to a cat-back (full system), then it just depends on what you prefer. Sound wise, they will be similar but the benefit behind a cat-back is that the whole factory system is replaced with free flowing pipes when compared to the factory system that has some restrictive points.
