I tried this recipe, fondant ws very soft and after covering my cake wit it,it was sweating anyhow,I had to take it off and use another fondant recipe.
@@bobbyuchenna2077 yes it was sweating and sort of melting off d next day and it ws fr a trad wedding. Thank God i had enuf time to pull or scrap it off cuz it ws like meltin be4 usin my regular fondant recipe.

Exactly the reason I didn't pour the entire liquid at once, after you add 3/4 you add remaining liquid gradually if need be

OK now. I guess you're in a hot/humid place plus the glucose was too much. Try reducing the quantity of the glucose
Your location is another factor in fondant making. This is a very good recipe but in a very humid environment without AC it might melt.
