What a blessing to have stumbled in your channel. I have tinnitus and I already practice all the tips here on my own. I also chew gum when the plane takes off/landing or suck on a lollipop to not have clogged ears when I get to my destination. Thanks for sharing.
In any noisy situation I use noise cancelling AirPods, cuts the noise and I can feed in gentler sounds to break up the tinnitus. I’ve not tried them on an aeroplane yet. If I’m playing in the band I wear moulded silicone ear plugs 🙂.
Hi there good video was wondering what type of earplug do you use? I have loops that are 17 dB and then with the extra mute, I can get a five more use.Or use Mack foams I believe they’re 33 dB. I’m not 100% sure on that.
I mean, they say it's not good to overprotect your ears, but cutting out things no one really wants to hear - jet engines, ads and solicitations on planes or other transports - makes plenty of sense to me ! ;-) Letting yourself be surrounded by everyday sounds yes, but let's face it : there's also a looot of noise for nothing. One question though : I wonder if someone wearing earplugs or ear defenders may not experience some pressure issues on a plane ? Is it ok to have your ears blocked with one or the other while the outside pressure is changing ?
Hi. When I have ear plugs in there is some change in pressure when the plane lands and takes off. Not so much with ear defenders. That’s why I wear them
Earplugs make it sound louder in my head

Thanks for the advice. It's something that I've always been affraid of. I try to take the train instead if possible.
Thanks for the tips. Travelling and even long distance journeys come with anxiousness now. Very insightful
Thank you 🙏
