Best explanation I have ever heard about acceptance and habutitation. I have had chronic tinnitus for over 3 years and am learning this. Thank you for this!❤

Thank you, and yes this does make sense. I have tinnitus and I to have learned to accept it. I just try and take better care of myself and find that helps to. Thank you!

Man, I'm so far from acceptance that it isn't even funny. But it is my goal, what you say here makes perfect sense and it gives me even more drive to get there. It's interesting to me that acceptance, in my case of course, hasn't got much to do with the actual baseline. Even when my tinnitus was non intrusive and non impacting, acceptance still wasn't there, and this influenced me in a negative way.
Thanks again for another great video, thanks for sharing your thoughts !

Hi, I totally understand what you are saying . Acceptance is the hardest part I think. But it does come . I really believe that . Sending you best wishes 👍

Hey Jack, good to heard from you, nice vid.
It means then that in one day you could be less habbituated, but the next day you can be more habbituated, right?

Hello Rick . Well mostly that habituation is fluid, and that it comes and goes. And I think that knowing that makes us less anxious about the hard days, cause we know better days are coming soon with it . Thanks man

Is there any truth between reactive Tinnitus and Tinnitus?

Hi. This is a really good question actually. I stick vehemently to things I know when answering questions so I’m going to say I am not sure here. And that’s because I need to give it some thought and do some research. I actually think this would make for a fantastic video . Might do some research and get back to you on this cause it’s an interesting topic. Sorry I can’t be of more use.

Did your spikes return to your “baseline”?

Hi Keith. It varies man. But if it doesn’t my brain still adapts over time .
