I'm sorry that weather is not bad at all I have a worst video being on Carnival Imagination when a cold front hit and we got almost 20 ft seas and I have the bridge going up and down almost 20 ft
No, the cabin attendants shouldn't have to clean that up. That's the perfect way to handle it, by saying that cabin cannot be cleaned until it is straightened up. If they continued, announce their name to the entire ship, saying "So and So, your cabin cannot be cleaned until it is straightened up and safe to walk in." After the third time, tell them they will be charged for any damages to the room.. Lastly, wait till they're off the ship, then tell them that they're no longer welcome on any future sailings with that particular cruise line.
I agree. Also an officer of the ship should have a "private" word with the mess-maker passengers to let them KNOW the severity of the mess they made. If nothing is said, they have learned nothing! These miscreants must live in squalor on land and think they are so HOT, that they don't consider the extra service that their slovenly habits are. They may not care, but at least they may learn that their actions are DISGUSTING and UNACCEPTABLE. Barbara G., a frequent cruiser since 1968!
I was on Carnival Breeze in November, we had to go around hurricane Raphael. It was a 100 miles off the starboard. It was a little rough that day. I or my wife do not get seasick. We will definitely cruise in September and October.
I’ve traveled during the hurricane season more than once, in fact I’ve done it this year. Yes our itinerary was changed, but we went to great ports and I’ll do it again. I really don’t believe there is a captain who would sail into a hurricane and endanger their passengers. Sometimes captains will skirt the edge of a hurricane and that has happened to me but our captain was out running the hurricane and we did have a little rough weather but only for a short time, meaning six to eight hours and then we were past the problem. Sorry that I’m rambling but it was a few years back.
Of course, I hear all the Carnival horror, but I have sailed Carnival for over 20 years without issue. On the other hand, when it comes to robbing Norwegian passengers, NCL is the biggest culprit. I can barely walk out of the stateroom without someone trying to sell me something.
I've had similar conditions going across the Bay of Biscay from Southampton and, on rare occasions, similar conditions going from Southampton across the North Sea. I'm referring to rainstorms and wind conditions.
Been on 25 Carnival cruises with 2 more coming up in the next few weeks. We have NEVER had any issues sailing with them. And yes, we have sailed during the hurricane season and are still here to talk about it. As for that nasty cabin, I wouldn't touch it! Leave it as you found it. When they complain that it hadn't been cleaned, explain why it wasn't.
I have travelled on Cranival over 15 times and I have no issues, have 2 sailing booked with them for next year. I have traveled with other cruise lines as well.
I have seen some pretty bad cabins going down the halls for breakfast. Bathroom towels on the cabin floor, clothes strewn all over, counters overflowing....I have also seen TH-cam content creators filming from their hotel rooms or cabins and I think to myself, did you look around the room first before you started filming? :-) I did cruise Carnival when I was in my 20s and 30s. Then I transitioned to Royal and NCL. Now in my 60s, I am still content there though I am looking more toward expedition cruise lines now.
The messy cabin; How much damage did the passengers do? How much extra time will it take staff to clean up after these roobs? If I was management, I would go into the cabin and photograph its condition. I would do a thorough job of documenting the mess. If these passengers did ANY amount of damage to the cabin, I would speak to the Hotel Director and likely the ship's captain, present the documentation. I would ask that Corporate HQ get involved, because these passengers need to either be disembarked at the next port OR get a lifetime ban. If all these people did was make a giant mess, I would ask the Hotel Director to tell the cabin attendant that he or she did not have to service that cabin for the rest of the cruise. Then, on turnaround day, I would do another walkthrough , filming the mess. I would then meet with the Hotel Director and the Captain, armed with the documentation, then insist that Corporate HQ get involved because these passengers need to be banned. Either way, If I was involved in the management of this ship, I would not want these passengers to set foot on my ship, or any ship owned by Carnival Corporation. They can take their business elsewhere.
All Cruise Lines have there own Weather People and I really don't think Ships would put either Passengers Crew or Ship in Danger .. We have Cruised in Hurricane Season & have been Lucky,
I just got back Saturday from a cruise with a port in Aruba, from port canaveral. I would never sail again September or October. Might not sail in November either. Terrible experience.
We will probably always cruise during hurricane season . The dirty room, the person cleaning it should get paid at least $300. The Norwegian cruise line remark was probably said, jokingly . We are a carnival cruiser and it don’t make us no difference. They’re only words I would’ve laughed about it if I was on board and we love carnival. I am 60 and I love cruising on the carnival.
I agree, Cabin attendants SHOULD clean the room regardless, but there should be a limit. That room should come with a heft $500+ additional cleaning charge and a permanent ban from the Cruise line.
Well, that’s just one Norwegian cruiser. You can’t take it out on all the cruisers that sells on Norwegian. I have family members that sell on carnival all the time me personally I’ve never cruised on it. I’m more more Royal Caribbean kind of person, but that person shouldn’t have said that, but they can’t take it out on all Norwegian cruises because I’m just hearing about this, I’m quite sure people haven’t heard anyway smooth sailing
At 70 years old, I still like Carnival. They don't shut down early, it seems there's something going on all the time, and they promote fun. I must still be a kid inside, not a stuffy old snob.
I get pretty tired when one cruise line goes around bashing other cruise lines. For example, on ALL three of my Celebrity cruises, there is a minimum of one joke from every comedian about the age/condition of HAL cruisers. What was truly ironic is that there were no less than 35 wheelchairs at that comedian's performance. I think that the hotel manager should say something to those people about the condition of the cabin. My wife insists that we clean the cabin BEFORE the room steward arrives.
1.The weather isnt any worse than storms we have been through. If they missed the ports, everyone would have had a fit. The captain knew what he / she was doing. I trust thier judgement. I have been in worse in Alaska!. 2. No... Attendants should not have to try to clean that mess. We actually try to make it as easy for them as possible. Empty trash, replace towels, t.p. and tissues. They should not have to do anything more!!!! Pigs... so gross! 3. Wow. Thats quite a comment. Yes, we cruise NCL but only because of the casino perks we get. I hope I never encounter that person because I might end up in the brig after slapping some sense into them. Watch your wallets really? SMH. NCL is no better than carnival. What a classy post! 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Jeez, that untidy cabin is a joke. I don’t think the cabin attendant should clean that. If that’s their cabin can you imagine their house. I’m an untidy person but I always leave the cabin tidy. That’s only fair and respectful
I've sailed mostly on Carnival, and I've gotta say they're my favorite. I'm not gonna say anything mean about NCL, because these are the actions of one seriously deluded, insecure cruiser.
Are you kidding? Do you believe everything you hear? Or are you assuming that what you hear is true? We've sailed on Carnival 25 times with 2 more coming up in the next few weeks. No issues at all! We're in our late 60s and haven't seen any of the BS being spread about Carnival. Don't base your beliefs on rumors or BS!
I like the current rules regarding cleaning cabins. More disturbing ,I don’t like the idea of people looking in cabins and posting it on utube. Rude regarding NCL’s announcement. They should’ve generalized for passengers to always be careful. My Alaska cruise was very rough at times. I trust the captain. I never travel during hurricane season. Just saying…

Thanks Jayson ..Good News..
They should clean EVERY cabin! Cruises cost a lot.
Love your comments, Jayson!
I'm sorry that weather is not bad at all I have a worst video being on Carnival Imagination when a cold front hit and we got almost 20 ft seas and I have the bridge going up and down almost 20 ft

No, they should charge the people 300.00 or more U.S. dollars for the cabin attendant to do it and then ban them from cruising.
Come On..Charge them the full price of the cruise..!! Would love to see where they live..!! 😅😅😅😅😅
I agree 100%
We sail Carnival the vast majority of times and will continue to do so. Both of us are in our 60's and still enjoy it.
We saiked on Carnival Panorama in July. It was so much fun and we didn't pick the pockets of one single person!
There should be a limit of how unclean a room can become. Cabin attendants should not be cleaning up a trash heap!
I agree. Also an officer of the ship should have a "private" word with the mess-maker passengers to let them KNOW the severity of the mess they made.

Barbara G., a frequent cruiser since 1968!
With the nasty cabin...What will be really messed up if the guess did not pay gratuities.
Yes, I will still sail through hurricane season, I'm not blocking out 6 months!
I agree, if you have to go around it, go around it, I just love being on the ocean/cruise. Thanks for watching
Stewards should not have to cleanup a cabin in that condition when they are doing their standard refresh.
I definitely trust the ship captain to do the right thing and yes I do cruise during hurricane season.
The storm don't look to bad and the cabin no employees should have to clean that
Agreed. I have seen more white caps on a tame ferry crossing in the cook straight than what I see in this video
I trust the captains and definitely cruise during hurricane season. The occasional high seas and wind are exciting!
I been in weather. Wind can be worse if going into the wind. I would still trust the captain.
I was on Carnival Breeze in November, we had to go around hurricane Raphael. It was a 100 miles off the starboard. It was a little rough that day. I or my wife do not get seasick. We will definitely cruise in September and October.
We’re in our 70s been cruising with Carnival since early 90s still love them

Thank you very much for sharing! Like 531. Great facts.

My first cruise was in 2012, it was a Carnival Cruise. I still cruise on Carnival, never had an issue.
I've had similar conditions going across the Bay of Biscay from Southampton and, on rare occasions, similar conditions going from Southampton across the North Sea. I'm referring to rainstorms and wind conditions.

We have taken 10 Carnival cruises, had a great time. You are right we have done 3 Royal Caribbean cruises also. Not that much difference.
I have travelled on Cranival over 15 times and I have no issues, have 2 sailing booked with them for next year. I have traveled with other cruise lines as well.
I have seen some pretty bad cabins going down the halls for breakfast. Oscar went from an unnamed storm to a hurricane in less than 5 hours. It was totally unexpectd.
What the NCL passenger didn’t know was he/she was also traveling on a similar ship. NCL,RCand some others are “in the same boat”.😂
I live in Miami, so I cruise in June, so far so good
As we say in W PA The occupants need to "red up" their cabin.

My brother and his wife are on the Carnival Magic right now. I will hear what they have to say when they come home
We have been on 40 cruises over 25 years and we have seen many more, way worse rooms while walking past the doors in the hall ways.
Cruising in that part of the world during hurricane season, this is what ya get. Trust the cruise captain.
The cabin attendant should not be responsible for a pig stye like that. Norwegian has nothing to say about other cruises.
We will probably always cruise during hurricane season . The dirty room, the person cleaning it should get paid at least $300. The Norwegian cruise line remark was probably said, jokingly . I would go cruise ever time during hurricane season , it’s cheaper and a gamble which makes it fun
I would not be happy going through a hurricane! Can you imagine the motion sickness?? And I would not touch that filthy cabin either!!
I keep my cabin pristine. How can anyone relax in chaos?
Well, that’s just one Norwegian cruiser. You can’t take it out on all the cruisers that sells on Norwegian. Hard no cruising in August, September and October
I live in Southwest Florida
Love carnival , it’s just what you are looking for , FUN
The cabin attendant shouldn’t have to clean that until the people straighten it up. Do they live that way at home?
At 70 years old, I still like Carnival. They don't shut down early, it seems there's something going on all the time, and they promote fun. I must still be a kid inside, not a stuffy old snob.
That’s disgusting. I would not even allow my dog to stay in that
We never cruise during hurricane season.
Those FILTHY folks are the same ones who rush down to take off their gratituties!!! Filthy, and no good!
I get pretty tired when one cruise line goes around bashing other cruise lines. The only thing I used to like about Carnival was "Guy's Burgers" but no more. I'll stick with Princess.
People were concerned about 15 foot seas??? Try 30 foot seas and 70 mph winds. Amateurs.
lol 😂
Thanks for watching
Wow, that comment by a NCL passenger implying that Carnival passengers are pickpockets? In very bad taste.
For SURE...We are
all Cruisers .....
Indeed!
i'm wary of Carnival from it's reputation. Wouldn't pay to go on it. Too yahoo for me

The passengers of that cabin needs to be banned.
You do have to watch thous carnival ppl 😂. JK
Yes ridiculous disgusting 🤮

Absolutely not. They are employees, not slaves. Who does that? 😕
Discussing cabin and ppl!!!! Ban them.
clean up their room first..
just think how they life it home (nasty) I am 72 and still love Caravel. i still like to have fun.
71&72 and Us also..
I've sailed mostly on Carnival, and I've gotta say they're my favorite. I'm not gonna say anything mean about NCL, because these are the actions of one seriously deluded, insecure cruiser.
I don't care if it's a mega-cruise ship or a canoe. Trust the captain or don't get on the boat!
Can anyone tell me why would you cruise carnival???
Are you kidding? Do you believe everything you hear? Or are you assuming that what you hear is true? We've sailed on Carnival 25 times with 2 more coming up in the next few weeks. No issues at all!
