  • How MFSSB works and feel? Why there are some differences among sticks in various F 16 Series? Take it or leave it? The answer is not in the wind, but in this vedio.

Well as the speakers pointed out in the video, the way MFSSB works is really quite different from the actual F-16.
The displacement range for the actual F-16 matches the force input, as in when the displacement reaches the end of any given axis, that is the maximum force reached for that axis.
However, the displacement range on the MFSSB does NOT indicate the range of force input. The displacement range is used by the hall effect sensor in hybrid mode in simapp pro, and acts only as the deadzone in force only mode. This means that when one does pull the MFSSB stick all the way on one axis, one only reaches the limit of the hall sensor / deadzone, and then the force sensor kicks in, so that when the stick is at maximum deflection, one can keep pulling on the stick to tell the FCS to turn harder, i.e., the pilot has no way of knowing in the case of MFSSB whether they have reached the maximum force input.
Now, the question is, why does WINWING invite these two speakers to give a lecture on how the actual F-16 stick reacts, and then sell us the MFSSB product which acts differently from the real thing?

At that time, there were no other MFSSB products available. Our video mainly aims to explain why aircraft irl need a movable force sensing side-stick, and how our product brings that real-life experience to your setup.

I still feel that's the left deflection input is slightly more sluggish, or even delayed. I find left deflection inputs resulting in more PIO than right inputs.

It seems your base need calibrating, for details, please contact our customer service, thank you.

So maximum force is 6kg, but from my reading the actual force of the real F16 stick is 11kg pitch up, 7.2kg pitch down and 7.7kg roll.
So even at the strongest setting it lower than the real thing even for the roll.

Probably not expecting everyone to have a desk bolted to the ground with reinforced legs for the desk too

    Nice video
Just got my MFSSB and trying to tune it. Any recommended settings for DCS F16?

Normally for DCS F16, no need to configuration, if you need to calibrate, please contact our customer service, thank you. 🙂🙂

Unfortunately, the Z axis twist module was discontinued. - Why, Winwing, WHY?
I would instantly buy one or two of this sticks if they had a twist Z axis.
But they haven't, so I'll buy a Virpil and an SKB.

@@phreak761 - Indeed, I've also got pedals, but like the twist axis better for space flight simulations.

@@JoernR You could try one of the slew axis controls.

@@phreak761 - That's the core of the issue; I like using the twist axis as a slew control. Just like about each and every space sim player.
That's why I just can't understand why Winwing abandons one of the most important control features.

What is the difference if i buy the grip without ffb? Will act like a normal stick and be moveable?

I just bought the orion 2 stick and throttle. Why does my stick move all over the place? Did I not buy the mfssb version? It's got the F-16 grip.

I purchased my Orion 2 F-16 Throttle & Joystick approx. 2 weeks before you released this MFSSB base. I had no clue that this was going to be available. At my purchase I should have been notified I had another option in very near future. NOT COOL!! I want this but I'm certainly NOT going to pay for another separate base. YOU need better PR !!!!
