    Hi John, when you cut 1inch off the shaft how did you add head weight? Tip weight, lead tape or tungsten powder. Great bid as always. Thanks

      Through heavier weights, generally speaking every MFG will offer heavier weight options. Sometimes they just won’t advertise it.

    Could you explain a little more how cutting down the shaft helped create launch? I would of thought that would make it flatter and actually have the opposite effect.

      The closer you get to the ball the more upright the club will get and should we follow general best practice swing mechanics we will be more then likely to swing the club on the vertical shaft plane the lie angle is sitting at. As an example the wedge is the shortest club in the bag and when compared to the longest club in the bag, the wedge will and should be the most vertical of the two, meaning that as the lie angle gets more upright so will the vertical plane in which its traveling. Hope this helps.

    What shaft was in the F7 ? , might of been a big change that could of happened but you never mentioned that .

    • @SwingFit
      @SwingFit  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was a stock regular flex shaft that came in it. The Fuji Pro61.

      @@SwingFit so why didn't you try a senior shaft in his driver and leave it at the 12 degree loft , you can also get heavier weights for the F7 as well . , Maybe a Mini driver around 13.5 degree loft might have been good for him as well . Just curious , don't forget the F7 had smart pad so you can change loft but not change the face . Right , that's what Cobra has been saying

    • @SwingFit
      @SwingFit  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@adrianrice354 for the record the loft sleeves cobra has been using dating back to the F6 days will affect the lie angle no matter what adjustment you set it in. It’s a single axis sleeve so if you add or subtract loft through the sleeve you will also change the lie angle. Now to your point the smart pad Cobra created was designed to help offset this but from my personal experience it didn’t always do what it would say, and an individuals delivery was the final factor. In regard to the sr. Flex if memory serves me correctly the customer loaded the club to much so if I would have gone softer it would have gotten a little too bendy so think pool noodle.

      @@SwingFit so why did you put a senior shaft in his new driver then ? that's what I saw in this video , just saying .
