      Well I hope the information is just as informative for the club-fitters as it is to the end consumer so perhaps they pick up a thing or two as well😄thanks for sharing

    Great video! You’re really putting out some quality content. I assume that with both the SIM and TSI3 you were able to move strike up to or just above the equator to get the jump in ball speed and lower spin. He was low heel with his combo = spin city! It would have been great to see the comparison in strike location compared to his gamer. Keep up the great work!!

    great video! I think club fitting is 100% a must but only if the fitter and the customer work with eachother. The customer needs to trust the fitter and all the experience they have. Dont go in with pre-concevied notions of I have to hit this club or I only want to play this brand. go for the clubs that perform the best for you. I went for a fitting came out with the Ping G425 in the Driver, 3 & 5 wood. and all the rest of my clubs are Mizuno HM Pros. I love the combo set. All stiff shaft and work perfectly for me. couldn't be happier!

      Couldn’t have said it better, it’s 100% a joint effort and we couldn’t do what we do if we didn’t receive feedback and the willingness and openness to try this and that, thanks for sharing.

    Thanks - another great fit and excellent walk through the process and numbers. What I'm left scratching my head at is "what courses and tee boxes does this 9 hcp client play that need 280+ carry?". If driver was actually the weak part of his game, he should be playing off 4-5 very quickly with the new setup. I can only dream of 108/155.

    • @SwingFit
      @SwingFit  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So true and it’s such a great point, where the customer plays they have a League format where every other week you play with a partner and have to hit from the back tees, and you have to rotate to just keep it fair in case your playing partner is Bryson or Kyle🤪

    Concerning club grip. Is their a formula to make sure you are in the correct grip size. Please demonstrate for all of us. Thanks

    • @SwingFit
      @SwingFit  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Truly no secret formulae size is important and it can either hurt your release or help it, I tell everyone to play the size that feels the best which doesn’t cause you to leave the face open or worst yet present less loft as a result of not releasing the club through the impact zone. Just as an FYI I am a firm believer everyone is playing a size to small. And if anything will alway encourage my customers to play a plus 4 variant the grips with the fatter bottom hands . Why because who doesn’t choke down on a club every now and then and having a fatter bottom hand can help

    Great video once again. Nice job on finding a little bit extra from a different combo! Quick question @SwingFit , just like this customer had a pretty new/recent driver (last year's Sim) , how often do you think it is beneficial to get fit for new equipment ? I went from a full set of big bertha clubs (2015 model) , to a mixed set this year (fitted - Taylor made driver & 3w, mizuno hybrid , mizuno irons 5-gw, callaway 54° & 58°) How would I know , or when would I know it's time to get fitted again maybe? This customer of yours felt he needed a new driver within a year but what signs should I be looking for? or what in my game or performance will tell me its time? Thanks again for the video , love the content ... Keep them coming

    • @SwingFit
      @SwingFit  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Such a good question which means I will likely do a follow on video. But in the mean time. Year over year not needed nor required but only if you went through the fit process. So all in all there is nothing wrong with the driver he purchased it just wasn’t the right one.. we see customers all the time who has a relatively new driver and in most of the situations we can just swap the shaft and everything be ok, but like in this case it was to high of loft, and the CG with weight being back caused him to loose distance.
      In regards to your question. Do you feel you swing it just as fast as some of the guys you play with but can’t put drive them. If yes then something might be going on. A great way to experiment is hit your buddies driver. Just try different heads and different shafts, and if any of those have you scratching your head then last but not least seek out a fitter my friend.

      @@SwingFit Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. As i mentioned i did just get fit for a whole new bag a few months ago. My issue at the moment is probably more mechanics and technique than anything. When I make proper contact with the new clubs i definitely hit them way better than my old clubs (and that goes for every club from wedges to driver). I have never taken a lesson before , but now that i'm taking the game a little more seriously than just a weekend thing, lessons are my next step for sure. I'm a bogie golfer sometimes better by a few strokes. I break 90 regularly so there's definitely some things in my favor but there's also a bunch or at least a few things I know i'm not doing properly , so lessons will definitely be in my future.. Apologies for rambling , and thank you for the feedback , and replying to my question. Keep up the great work and keep the videos coming =)

    Hard to go wrong with a Titleist Driver and a Ventus Black shaft. Was the weight put in the heel and the sleeve upright for shot shape - the difference was noticeable?

    • @SwingFit
      @SwingFit  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know right, the shaft has just a little less torque then that of the trono and we originally had it in the A1 Setting weight one click heel we finished up with weight center and flat.

  • @hbyrdut
    @hbyrdut 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    His descent angle was much better with the TSi3 too. When do you start thinking X-flex? At a certain club speed or how the golfer loads the shaft or both? I'm guessing 108 on GC Quad is about 105 or so on Trackman.

    • @SwingFit
      @SwingFit  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Speed, load and release are the three areas I’ll look at when picking flex. And truth be told I never really know what flex we’ll end up with until the end, I just have to keep an eye on the numbers to make sure it doesn’t start to go the other direction.
