Something I really appreciate about this video and others you’ve made is that you show the real day to day footage and work that we all create. So much of what you see on TH-cam is essentially peak experience, portfolio driven work. That stuff is beautiful and amazing and inspiring, but it’s also not the reality of how most of us pay our bills. Showing real world footage of the work you do, shot super well and looking clean and professional for your clients is definitely important for other folks to see. It shows that the realities of our business is about satisfying our customers needs. The bigger budget, cinematic, beautiful location stuff happens, but not for everyone and not all the time. Great job giving insight and showing solid real-world projects 👌
really appreciate about your honest video, can you do more espesifc video about autofocus needs if Lumix was fixed tracking modes after the final update.thanks.
How do you compare the S5iix to the bmpcc4k in terms of image? I love the look of Blackmagic cameras, so just curious? When do you use that vs when do you reach for the S5iix?
Great question! I personally prefer the look of blackmagic cameras over anything so I will usually use the pocket 4ks when I'm shooting a short film, doing a documentary, or doing something where I don't need autofocus. But in high dynamic range scenes I'll go for the s5 ii x, for corporate work mostly the s5 ii x. But recently I added the blackmagic video assist to my kit and holy smokes does it take the s5 ii x to a whole other level. So if you're getting an s5 ii x, get the blackmagic video assist. Total game changer
The dual native on the S5ii is BETTER than the FX30 which has massive built in noise reduction that can’t be disabled and 4000 is a much more practical level than 12800 which is plain silly.
It depends on the job. For most of my work clients don't care, especially when they get a quality end product. If there's a budget I'll rent a RED, but I've been incredibly happy with the pocket 4ks and gh6s. Thought about a 6k pro and might grab one but for now I like my kit
You bought the S5II with the X for photography? SMH, these TH-camrs. And he said he "started the channel cos he felt like TH-cam was lacking a positive educational side and wanted to bring that back to TH-cam and teach"
Hahaha it's always the same BEAST, BAD BOY ..... and then a BIG BUT ( like this : AND while the S5II may work for some :) HERE my beef with the Panasonic S system as a filmer and photographer. So while the S series may work for you :) For me it has one >>MORTAL FLAWMORTAL FLAW Leica has obviously had it's fingers in the Firmware because the Q3 has the same problems ... while OM- systems and Sony don't )
Love my Lumix bodies ! Value for dollar nothing comes close. Great video !
Agreed! Can't get anything better for the price

Thank you! I agree that the best stuff doesn't always relate to the real world. Not everything will be lit perfectly.
But appreciate the nice words

I will definitely try! It's gotten better after this update, but still not perfect

i was just going to say this but to add... it is also better than the FX3 in low light
Nice Video…still using P4Ks and GH6 for video pro work or you rent RED?…or maybe did u try BM full frame 6K?

Good videos music is a little annoying, maybe lower it more or don’t have it playing the whole time
Why do you... talk... in... pauses....? You bought the wrong camera for your needs and you did a clickbait video about it.
