@@loxety Thx. I am getting about 20k. If I go higher the rig becomes unstable for a workstation/mining rig. But, I think the highest I have gotten is about 25k.
@@EricTheRed1979 Setting expo and turning off the internal graphics causes a big bump in performance.
Looking forward to your results, I'm thinking about building something with one of these CPUs as well.

If you wish to power up with max voltage, so you have to go with 7950X.
7950X3D is good if you pay for your power and you need to mine cheaper. 😀

I will be soon building out my own personal cpu mining farm. Expanding on what i have now (300kh/s randomx), all the way up to 10MH/s. Im coming for all the blocks kids!

@altcome you are correct. I own a rental house which is worth about 500k. It earns 4000$/month.
If I spent 500k on a small barn filled with cpus (between 600-800 rigs) they would be generating upwards of 35k$CAD/month...

I am experimenting with the The Intel Xeon Gold 6150 hashes Randomx at 35000h/s. Lots of retired workstation MOBOs on Ebay to put them in too. Only $150 CAD.
Just ordered a 5900X, going to use whatever revenue comes from it for the next rig. Probably Ryzen 7000.

Really wanting to play on the DDR5 AMD platform. Waiting for the new series for now. Tuning is the most fun about this. Mining is just the bonus, lol.
Ive had good luck with the 1200W server PSU/Breakout board with my 5950x. I get 3 rigs per PSU.
I used the paste that came with my Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE on 2x 5900x and they stay below 60c, looking to get same cooler for a 7900x build as have a free spot as well as 24 pin and 8pin for cpu free.
7900x + Assassin 120 lets the CPU boost pretty well, it will still throttle.
With the money used to buy everything, you could buy around 50 Zeph at current market. It would take until close to 2027 to make close to that on 2 rigs. Just using dirty math, its probably more zeph you could buy straight up for the part cost.
Not all about zeph most my rigs were ROIed 3 years ago before zeph was even released and mined over 1500 zeph point is long term expansion will outweigh buying a coin on diversity right now if all you care about is roi just buy coins long term will lose.
@Rabid Mining I am a little confused on how to overclock them. I heard it's all done in BIOS? Also, what overclocks/undervolts would you recommend? Specs for what I am using: MSI Pro A620-M Motherboard, 7950X3D CPU, ARGB 120mm Cooler and 32GB of Corsair Vengeance 6400mhz RAM, RGB 750W PSU, for both of my Rigs.

Most of my cpu rigs have Thermalrite coolers and I used the paste it came with. Seems to work pretty well…but I’ll find out soon how it holds up in the summer heat 😂

Is there a reason why you don't use more server CPUs? I know that you have a couple of rigs but most of your rigs are home computer cpus. Did you find that the server cpus weren't worth it?

Hey rabid, I installed beta on hiveos worker and it worked, just like u said. Now im about to build a 7950x but the first test went to an unexpected reboot (I was on pee during that) and couldnt see what exactly happened. It is running with wraith prism cooler, fresh win 11. Got to travel for my job so I left it running in eco mode and its mining ok with deroluna. I live in Brazil so i got worried about temperature and just bought a WC Corsair H115i. Do you think I was in a rush? Sorry for newbie question, this is my 2nd rig.

I have built 2 of these running 15.37 kh/s each, both stock settings. I'm still looking for the best settings
My 7950x3d also gets about 13-16kh. I can't figure out why it's so slow even at default BIOS settings with DOCP 1.
