gigabyte bios is best. you can just type 36 enter for clock ratio. vcore is under advanced voltages, or amd CBS/PBS. you definitely want to enter that as the VDD is still on auto, and appx 20w higher than it could be at that hashrate. I recently did a stream tweaking a 3900X for mining if curious. turn off cool&quiet too. XMP (and Im controvercial in saying this) should not be on. set mem to 2400mhz 1.2V. saves power and loses next to no hashrate. if you are pushing for highest hashrate power be damned XMP does then matter. 4G decoding not necessary for CPU rig under 90c is fine for temp.

i had bad luck with EVGA power supplies , i stick to HP server power sups for GPU and rog thor ('i'm a sucker for the wattage in front , what can i say i mine with CPU ) for motherboards
If your gonna be building cpu rigs get yourself a non-powered card that way you don't have to attach cables that will be removed once rig is set up, This only applies to 3000 and 5000 series cpus as they don't have on board graphics. These are the two m.2 ssd's I use for cpu rigs: Netac NV3000 250GB SSD 250GB Internal NVMe SSD Solid State Drive M.2 2280mm PCIe3.0 3D NAND with Heat Sink Patriot P300 M.2 PCIe Gen 3 x4 128GB Low-Power Consumption SSD
@@shakthivel5602 5000 series amd and 3000 series is fine and then can take card off to run headless so no display connected etc... if using a 7000, 8000 or 9000 series then no need for a gpu. Hope that helps
@@shakthivel5602 yeah as long as can get a display out so you can do all the settings in bios or ryzen master then once set you can remove or run with, if you set it up to remote in then you can access it from another computer as if you were on that rig, very easy when comes to changing settings or switch to another coin.
For simplicity purposes id probably stick with nicehash... not that hive is difficult, but i just find nicehash easier/faster for me to get going... love the rig... not bad for a first one... look forward to seeing more! 60c shouldn't be a problem.. my r5 3600 has a top temp of 90c before it throttles or shuts down.
@@raghunathdesai1980 only solution I'm aware of is a better cooling set up like a wraith prism or aio liquid cooling... I used one from vetoo a while back but it died, so I'm back to a stock fan for now

I bought a bunch of $10 dollar old gpus that dont take external power cable to plug into my cpu mining rigs so you dont need the extra cables and dont need to remove it and you can always plug a monitor into it if needed
that's like more than 500 usd worth of equipment, making 1,5 usd a day, and when the hashrate will go up, you'll make even less than 1 usd a day.... also consider the space you need for each motherboard . gpu or asic mining still better

he just run the pc open on table instead of in an pc case/tower. so he plugs all the keyboard/mouse/monitor in to the motherbord as normal.
