I didn’t know about the molex connector for the power switch. That’s pretty cool!
This is a good how to beginner's guide. Glad to see people are still making them
gotta love build vids..nice straight forward well explained vid👍
Very detailed video...great job. The Blake3 algo will end gpu mining next month so sad. I really like the power usage of blake3.
Excellent Videos, informative!!
Great video m8 keep it up
Nice man!
Thx for the content man! Ever plan on getting a few server cases or riserless motherboards? I get they are knida boring, but can save decent amount of money if you find the right deals. Keep building!
Anyone else still building rigs while profits are down?
I am rebuilding my old Rig with a Facebook marketplace purchase of a Asus B250 Mining Expert Mother board and a Powercolor 5600xt video card. re-using my old cards of: 5700xt and a 2060, and a 1060 card. So I am planning on getting more GPU's for this monster of a motherboard. getting ready to post a video showing it.
@@nfoguidesnice man good luck!
Keep buildiong for me brother, im out of power and out of funds, 1 4070ti this month was all I picked up!
@@kr00tman understandable with that massive farm you’ve got!
Jepp i do!! I do like the Zotac cards i like the performans of those cards!!
17:17 that shit is a headache i go through it every single time when i set up a new rig i can never figure it out until i turn the rig off and on 80 times unlugging and plugging risers and cables back in lol
Hi,my Hiveos beta net-test not working,,not result,what problem?
well done. the only addition i could think of would some plexiglass with slots for protection. but its not necessary.
Speaking from my own experience, the dell OptiPlex 7010 can support a max of 7 graphics cards (even with the PCIe splitter). On ebay these units come with a motherboard, cpu, ram, & power supply all for ~$40. Additionally, these units only take ~25 watts as the cpu is typically some third gen i3/i5 which has a low power draw. Hard to beat that in terms of budget.
Can you give me some more info on this?
I have one of these, and this seems like something I could do.
@@4megii follow most of the steps in the dudes videos. Only difference is the motherboard, ram, cpu, and atx power supply you use.
pro tip; sometimes zotac will let u make an offer, got 3 3070s for 270 each (before tax) and scooped up 2 3060 laptop gpu at 138 each before tax 6gb models (some of them give resource error, so just send those back and exchange for a new one)
loving your videos, I started getting some gpu rigs together over the last month.
However that drilling with the mobo was way too ambitious to attempt. I'm way too much of a klutz to not snap that whole sucker in half as I drilled in the screws :D.
lol yeah screwdriver may be safer
Always add cards one at a time with a full reboot inbetween
The 2 Fan Zotac Cards are ok for non Kapow Algorithms but since ClorevAI etc will be there for the long run of GPU Mining 3 fan Cards no matter 3060/4060 ti/ 3070/4070 ti too. I have 6 x 3070 ti Zotac Amp Holo with -20 watt thermal pads & -50Thermal Paste these Cards mine Kapow at 38/40 MH per Card & won’t get to 60 C Temperature
Yeah 😊
What wallet software do you use? I am looking for something so I can quit mining straight to exchanges or using a billion wallets for each coin that I mine
Unfortunately not any great wallet that has all the mineable coins. I mine to tradeogre and swap or individual wallets for coins I wanna hold.
I love zotac but since Zotac has its HQ in Hong Kong even with new cards you need to immediately change the thermal pads & paste after they were sitting on the Tamac of +35 C / 100/110 F of Lantau Island Airport.
Especially those used Cards will need a cleaning, blowout & then new pads & paste.
To the MB I can only say that I got scammed to many times with these MB, CPU, Ram deals unless the person provides pictures of the MB disassembled showing if the CPU pin tray is in ok Condition
The mobo is a reputable eBay seller with 30 day warranty so luckily no issue there!
I had quite a few good zotac gpus. Fans are a little shitty, but easy to swap
Hi men, tnks for the video, why Alephium but not iron+Gram ?
Gram is very hard to sell so i don’t mess with it. Mining alph until the new ASICS release and it won’t be profitable snymore
Is wood flammable? Are metal cases better
Nah had mine for years like that and no issues at all
how much does it cost to get it built if i have the parts?
What do you use for your wallet
What do I do when I connect my server power supply and my gpus say malfunction on Hiveos
Are all cords to the riser and gpu coming from the same power supply? Seems like a riser issue maybe try switching the riser.
Brother dont sleep on newegg
Why not get a zsx board and skip the 500W PSU? Save some more going that way, get them for $40 with wires
Wasn’t aware these existed! Might have to use one on my next build. This customer only had a 120v setup so just need to make sure the psu is compatible on both 120v and 240v. Thanks for the rec!
Dude, Intel is not suitable for mining because it is an outdated technology, only AMD processors on AM4 or AM5 so that mining works nicely and does not crash on its own.
False unless you mean cpu mining
I still pay a little more money and buy cards for 3 fans) they feel better in hot summer🥶
Gpu exhaust blocked 10% main slots and other slots🤦♂🤦♂and there is no profit on that if your power more then 0.12kwt😇
Metal frame, 12 GPU mobo instead
GPU mining profitable in 2024? Are you sure of what you are saying? What are you mining? What algorithm? Pyrin(PyrinHash)? Dero(AstroBWT)? HTN(PyrinHash)?
Dual Mining: Iron Fish(Blake3) + Gram(Sha256ton)? Abel + Gram?
I've been in the mining market for 8 years and I'm unaware of "Profitable" GPU mining.
All of us who have been in the market for years know that GPU mining was devastated with the end of ETH mining, the real problem with GPU mining today is its extremely high cost for almost non-existent profitability.
Guys, get real, the money you are investing in GPUs for mining would be better spent on purchasing BTC or you can study mining and buy GOOD AISCs.
GPU for mining today is for learning, never as a form of investment!
Ask the owner of the video which Cryptocurrency he is mining via "Extremely Profitable" GPU, do you know which one? NONE!
He may think he has free energy, in which case wouldn't it be better to invest his money in a great mining AISC???
Massive investment in GPU for mining is your quickest path to FINANCIAL SUICIDE.
He is only trolling idotic nonsense and bullshit. It is not worth proved,...
Be careful because your total TDP for those cards is gonna be more than that PSU. In the case you lose over locks (under locks) you have a fire hazard!
You’re TBP for all three is definitely over 80% rule on PSU safest bet would be to hook one up to other main PSU
Great content man! Was looking for a guy like you to pump me up a little bit, i have 6 gpus sleeping on a rig since eth POS and didnt know what to do with them, i might check to plug that ahit back up and grab a couple dollars! + my landlord pays my electricity bill, winning all around
Buy Kaspa Asics 1st, then GPUs. Beocz the Kaspa aiscs make so so much more!
$270 each for 3060s is pretty expensive.
Yeah. I just got 2 3070 fes for 500
3060’s suck for mining anyways
@@masklessninja I'd mine on anything if the numbers and $ worked out
@@propeldragonwhere did you buy the 3070?
@@a.c.1411 Ebay
@23:35 you say profitability doubled couple of weeks ago. then how come you're making cents today?
It was about $10 per day profit for a week or so then tanked hard
Where in Texas do you live?
A build? I'm in
Best kinda vid!
I Mined 1,000,000 Neoxa. Now What? Red Fox Crypto 60.7K subscribers
can one build a rig with mix and matching gpus?
Yes sir, it’s easier to overclock if they are all the same kind of gpu but model doesn’t matter. You can also do all different kinds of gpus just a little more work to overclock
Eww Zotac! Nice build video tho!
Mining isn't profitable in Colorado with the sky high electricity costs.
As much as switzerland ? 0.42 ?
Wood will catch fire. Big mistake. 1 rig sure, any more then definately get amazon wire racks and 3d printed hangars
great video. W541 mining programming for cryptocurrencies is also fantastically profitable and energy saving ❤❤
GPU model no
how do you mine bitcoinnlike what software do you use
Video coming out in 2 hours on this
"Let's just assume all these positive things will happen for crypto, where nothing negative happens and that shows that it's profitable."
mhmm. cool story.
I wish I would have seen the last part first, would have skipped it totally
And like 99% of time, you'd make more profit just buying the coin.
Dam your smart
@@chriscaputo8546 than why you dont listen him, he is right?
That's just a waste! I would only consider it if I could pocket a few hundred dollars a month. I've been selling PCs and GPUs, never considering mining because it's more of a hobby than a business. So, I prefer to stick to buying and selling PC parts.
Uh oh, dont go by software power, ever. It always lies
You do realize there is an Alph ASIC literally about to ship right? Alph profit will be zero.
Yep, that’s why I’m mining it on the last few days we can.
its only profitable because of your electric costs ....
BoM & cost breakdown ?
Look in the first 2 minutes of the vid haha
You defenitely pay 25cents MINIMUM per KW/h. Probably even 30cents.. trust me.
Hello, thanks for your video 🙂(I love IT). I need buy this stuff for Switzerland (Great), please advise me about hp 750W Server PSU. The breakout card is (precisely X11 16-PCIe or X11-AMP 16-PCie ?) |:-))
Either is fine!
Thank for answer, good mining to.
your "thought process" is sooo wrong
Why to use zotac this is the worst version of the 3060 next time try to buy aorus or strix cards
By far the cheapest but otherwise I agree
Did he just say 1$ a day 😂
Times are hard out here 😂
Nothing it's profitable right now
At least use duct tape
No you dont,..and stop misslead people,...IT IS NOT WORTH,...
guys please dont listen to him, hes just a beginner himself😉
Yeah I cringed when he screwed in the motherboard with wood screws. I have a few CPU rigs on melamine boards but at least have proper stand offs. That MB will bow like a MF.
@scottmarto5199 I did that in the beginning too, before I realized I'd need to do maintenance. It's OK, we can have an assisting attitude and help instead of thinking we are smarter or better. It's a clean channel, I say go for it young lad! No more using wood ok?
@@andrewjones198what is wrong with the wood in your opinion? Genuinely trying to learn from the mistakes.

Is wood flammable? Are metal cases better
Depending on where you place everything wood is better it doesn’t transfer heat like metal and it’s easier to work with.
