pick up a cheap GT730 (around $50 new or a couple of bucks used) passively cooled 2gb card that does not need extra power (all through the pci slot) lot easier than the bundle of wires you have to manage with your current card.

Love your videos. This is an interesting setup how the power is being split between two rigs. Hope there aren’t any problems. Only one way to find out! I have a question that maybe you could answer since you’re familiar with the Msi x470 gaming plus max. Is an older 1-2gb gpu needed for the display/bios purposes or can you use a 4gb card? I’m currently building two 3950x rigs like yours, but I’m having a problem getting anything on my display. I have a gtx1050ti I’ve been trying to use but no luck. Tried swapping hdmi cables and even tried another display. I don’t have an older cpu with integrated graphics either. Sorry to pick your brain. You’re the only one I’ve heard mention anything about this so hope you can help. I can easily purchase an older gpu but was trying to save a few dollars by using hardware I already have. Thanks Rabid keep the great content coming!

You stated you didn’t have a way of mass producing them currently. Would you be able to direct me to where you had yours custom made. I want to pick some of these stands up to replace the small white ones that sit under the MB keeping them flat. I saw the similar top heavy stands on thingsverse, but would much rather have these custom ones. Any chance you’d be able to recommend where I can have them made and shipped from? I can send you some xmr as a thank you if you can guide me to where you had yours made. Keeping my fingers crossed, I’d be able to clear up quite a bit of room and fit many more rigs on my shelves. Hello, I built one with a b450 auros elite v2, ryzen 9 5900x CPU, a memory of 3200 cl16 of 8gb and the speeds are around 9kh/10kh and in Moneroocean it shows that it goes to 12kh! I've seen several of your videos, so I went to the Bios to try to set it to .975v but it restarted after Hiveos started up, so I ended up adjusting it to 1v, the profile already has XMP and it's also already configured in Hiveos to have more packages! So what can I do more to increase the speed! is that it seems to me that this speed is quite low for the CPU it is!

I'm getting 9.7 kH with a ryzen 9 3900 (non-x) with 1 stick of cheap 2666 MHz 8GB RAM (CL19 i think), no XMP, CPU set to 3.2 GHz at 0.9V and 1V SOC. Power draw is 94W at the wall. But I too was surprised, even when running at 3.6 GHz @ 1V, it's still getting around 10kH, nowhere near Rabid's 3900x at 3.6 GHz @ 1V, which was getting over 12kH. Could it be the chipset I wonder, as I am also using a B450 board, whereas Rabid had a X570? But at least my power draw is also much lower than his was, at over 120W.

    • @RabidMining

@@RabidMiningThing is, I did try with 2 sticks of (cheap) 4GB DDR4 2666 modules, sure speed went up to 10.5 kH, power draw went up by 6W. That's still far away from the 12+ kH your 3900x was getting, at the exact same clock and voltage. Is it really because my ram is just some cheap 2666 MHz with CL19?
