- Welcome to the vlog of mostly me talking lol. Wasn't sure if I was gonna post this footage, but thought I should share my thoughts regardless. This is real life of a flight attendant- being tired, trying to keep up, and prioritizing sleep.
I know this is from my flying back in April & May, but alas here we are. Commuting sucks, but I'm surviving! haha

With the crash pad , the kitchen and common area is shared correct ? When you commute you arrive the night before ? You pay for the hotel or crash pad correct?

Oh wow you get your own room at a crash pad? That’s awesome!! I always imaged them to be a bunch of bunk beds in me room for adults lol
honestly it depends on the crash pad! some are definitely set up with all bunk beds for multiple people in one room (most cost effective)
My dear baby girl!! It’s absolutely amazing to see you walking in my footsteps AND commuting on top of that! You’re doing a great job vlogging too! Get as much rest as you possibly can to help balance those sleep deprivation days. Day rooms, crash pads, etc. I love you so much!

crazy life compared to being on the farm :-) try a carrot beet turmeric juice that will jumpstart your day. Maybe a large Microgreen salad.All the different vegan food you get to try I’m a little jealous :-)

aw thank you!! luckily my summer schedule surprisingly got much better as I transferred bases! still commuting until 2026 but things are getting easier :)

Is it hard to get the Atlanta base at your airline when your a new hire or junior? I work for another airline currently and I am very interested in applying for your airline and would prefer the Atlanta base. I have heard the MSP,BOS, and JFK are the bases being offered to new hires these days though. Also as a commuter how has commuting been without the positive space that stopped this month? I love your video so much as they are very inspiring 😊
Thank you! ❤️ Atlanta is usually closed right out of training. But it all can change depending on operational need. Typically new hires are able to transfer there within the 1st year, although w the airline industry nothing is ever for sure. I flew before pos space so to me it's not difficult, but do you have to set alarms to book a jumpseat unfortunately if commuting from a popular city

I'm sure your comment comes from a good place. But I've been plant-based for 5 years and have seen numerous health benefits. It also aligns with my values. The tiredness shown in this video comes from a tough work schedule and lack of sleep from commuting. I appreciate your support though ❤
