- Who doesn't love aero kits? Had APR on the FK8 and it worked great so here we are back again with the FL5. First full APR kit in NorCal? Can't wait to see how this does on track.

Cars really coming together! I feel your pain on the shipping mistakes and delays 100%! I too have had issues with seat mounts, incorrect mounting pieces on my coilovers and even got a used tire thrown in with a brand new set that had to be corrected🤦🏻♂️ Sadly, it’s all a part of the process! I hope this performs as good as it looks for you!🎉
No doubt! Blunders are abound and just part of the game. What matters more to me is how they respond and APR was on point! 👌🏽

Clean build. Looks aggressive yet not over styled. Black definitely looks the best, but is obviously the hardest to keep clean. Not to be a perv, but I wish there was more back shots. Perhaps from like 5’ or 10’ away.

A ton better than the HFP aero from the 9th gen Civic. The aero was put on with 2-3 clips, tape, and prayers. Lift the car wrong and you smash one of the two brackets holding the side skirts on. The bane of my existence for 11+ years

Hooo sweet ! That’s what this car needs more power , I took one for test drive the acceleration so sluggish it’s start ok but after not much pulled strong , I don’t understand why Honda did it like that , the rest of the car just amazing just more power will be perfect, you think you will get around 400+?

It looks incredible. Is the front strut tower brace really worth it? Did you notice a positive difference once installed? TIA.
Dynamically the front strut bat does almost nothing. It’s mostly aesthetic and my main purpose for getting it was to use as a remote reservoir holder for my coilovers

Give yourself extra time. Don’t rush it. Other than that everything pointed out in the video
This type R has changed my mind about the 11th gen civics! I just think they are so ugly compared to the 10th gens. This one all blacked out is so beautifully done gg 🖤
The 10th gen is definitely more aggressively styled.

Looks really good! The FL5 is starting to show its visual potential with aftermarkets mods. Did you get the 61" or 67" wing? You gave a spoiler about the upcoming coilovers 🙂I installed them on my FK8 a couple of months ago, and you were part of the inspiration why I chose them.

@@GridZillaI got the JRZ RS Pro 2-way. I feel that 67" wing for the Type R is too much. I can barely balance the 3" Racebred splitter with my 61" and 0 AoA. Speaking of which, did you later upgrade your Racebred splitter from 3" to 4"? In your older video, you installed a 3", but I saw a pic of your FK8 later with what seems to be a longer splitter.

Sold my FL5 for a yellow 1LE Camaro. Haven't taken it to the track yet but the car is a damn beast even with the stock cam and stock suspension. My first American car. Only downside is everyone calls it Bumblebee. 🤨

Im focusing more on wheels, brakes, & suspension for right now and also waiting to see what else becomes available! Hey also i know you have a MKV Supra! What are your thoughts on that special edition Supra thats coming with the G80 engine. The GRMN! Im actually waiting for that! Im in the process of selling my 22' Shelby GT500!
The GRMN will be incredible but honestly save the money and buy a used A90 3.0
The money you save you could build it out to destroy that GRMN.

@@ReevesTop not for the faint of heart lol. Probably in the neighborhood of $250k plus the cost of the car but you have to understand that’s a full rollcaged race car with aero and drivetrain that can handle well over 700whp.
My car will be the “street” version of that which will be 90% of what the GT4 would be. Nothing Doteki does is cheap but that’s the point. When you really understand what you’re getting with them you’ll l realize no one is doing what they are doing?
