I'm comparing your fk8 laguna video vs fl5 I think you'll be surprised how consistent you are and they look the same until that bmw showed up. sucks I couldn't see the speedo on the fl5 to nerd out even more! but congrats on the PB!
@@GridZilla yeah the lines are very close to each other but the fk8 understeered more your steering angles are more extreme in the fk8 but fl5 was a lot more neutral and composed. pretty interesting
Great run! I saw your log R showing: water temp = 248F oil temp = 302 F 1. what engine oil are you using? 2. what water temp and oil temp value do you think is the max operating temp?
In this video I have Amsoil Dominator 5w20. Really anything above 280F for oil temps is not good. In a perfect works is like to be in the 220F range but not the HRC race cars run that cool on warm days

@@fkhothatchi I’m also much more comfortable with a car that rotates now than I was back then so my suspension is more setup to rotate more

For sure. If you look at the temp gauge in the video the oil goes past 300F
