    I bought one of these and it's going back. The standoff doesn't rotate in the circuit board. Connection is spotty at best. Tried 2 USB4 ports and 2 different drives. First and last Yottamater product for me. Drives work fine in an enclosure from another vendor.

      What NVMe enclosure did you end up getting? I was looking at 20Gbps and had been eyeing a Yottamaster 20 Gbps.

    How does Yottamaster brand compare to other brands that make NVMe M.2 enclosures? I was eyeing a Yottamaster NVMe enclosure that is 20 Gbps speed. I know some brands people complain of the design making the drive run hot due to bad heat transfer design of the case.

    I'm wondering if you should also put a 2nd thermal pad on top of the heat shield to help it transfer heat to the case?

      The top of the case is acrylic, it is not thermally conductive.

      @@_Caddac Oh okay. Though I've decided to get the OWC 40Gbps NVMe enclosure. It's pricey, but it fits my requirements. i.e. 40Gbps, backwards compatible with USB-C so I can use it on older computers C and A ports, and it takes the 4 NVMe sizes so it's future proof. A plus is that it's all made of metal to help with heat dissipation.

    Does yours also spins the Fan, even tho you fully shut down your Computer? Is see no reason why the Fan should spin if it does nothing

    • @_Caddac
      @_Caddac  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If the port is providing power when power is off the fan will continue to spin.

      @@_Caddac Thanks. Never had a use case for powered ports so I didn't had that in mind.
