- YALL TRYING TO GET WILD?!? hahah Sorry I'm in a funny mood this morning, but can yall just comment about how powerful my wife is? I mean wow. What a flippin babe. I say that because I am so thankful that when Tori and I started dating we had some of these boundaries already and implemented new ones as we needed. When I wasn't valuing myself she was willing to value me. It's just as important to see how the people we are with will treat us when we are crushing life as well as being crushed by life. And that is why we need good boundaries. We need to set up parameters to make sure not only that we are not being taken advantage of, but to also make sure that WE ARE NOT TAKING ADVANTAGE OF OTHERS. And before you think you wouldn't do that, know that we all have the ability to do that. And it can disguise itself in things like "oh this is God's will for my life" and "I'm just feeling sad and need to be comforted". I believe in God's will and I believe in comforting the broken hearted but I also believe we can mistake God's will and our hurt hearts for just wanting affirmation and attention. Anyways, I feel like I'm running off hahah. Moral of the story here is that THIS STUFF IS IMPERATIVE to healthy relationships! It's not a bad thing, but a good thing. Let's talk more about boundaries together and help us ALLLLLL Honor each-other.

I tried and the man kept flirting with me. A professed Christan. I was shaking and blocked him but I blocked him before also and then unblocked. God didn't bless me with good luck. Been alone for so long. Chad said to be strong and not negative naggy Nancy but some day I feel so low, then what. Its hard to let go. Maybe I need more self control. Sometimes I just want to die, to cry.

Listen, from the first 2 minutes I said to myself "Here goes another Beautiful Christian Couple frolicking in the meadows of Unity and Joy, reminiscing on their singleness as if it only lasted the dew of an early morning ". I literally asked God "Do I have to watch this" and I felt like I needed to continue. I learned about myself and my self pleasing tendencies when it comes to "friendly" guy relationships. I’m currently going through a difficult time letting go of a guy who I have a romantic past with, but still talk to everyday because he’s my best friend. We’re both Christian’s, but have a deep history of living in sin when we’re together. When I saw this was the topic of this weeks video, it was such a sign from God. Hi! I'm new to your channel and your content is so amazing! I really love the stock market example Chad gave here! Everytime we say yes to particular things is a no to a lot of things so we have to make sure that we're really into it. Applies not only on this topic but in the general view. Love it!
I love how Chad puts the question to us of "Is what I'm doing giving me life?" I have found that statement to be so true. If we are focused on material, worldly things we aren't able to feel content or have true meaning. We find life through Christ. A lot of people have asked me when I'm going to start dating and I tell them that I want to find myself through God first. Watching your videos has helped me be content in this current phase of my life knowing that I'm taking this season to know God and myself better. I don't think I've ever taken more notes with one of your videos! I always save your videos for a rainy day and I'm glad I did because you always encourage my heart toward God and this video was no exception. I've been in my single season for a while and I finally was able to move past the idolization or marriage and a relationship! Three weeks later, I was DM'd and now it could all change BUT I knew I was ready because I was so content with Jesus that I didn't want to message him back in fear that I'd mess up the roll I had going (looking back now, it has some but I won't let it any longer).
All that to say, this is EXACTLY what I needed as I navigate this in-between and make decisions about the future so THANK YOU!

It's amazing how the Father works with us. A few months ago, I watched this video and I knew it was very important, what you were saying but somewhere in my heart, I didn't really believe I needed to put it into action for myself. I thought I knew!!
Here I am months later, the Holy Spirit having opened my eyes, my ears and my heart, after making these mistakes and now I see HOW MUCH this is for me. I personally have to pay attention and obey right away. The Holy Spirit brought the video back to my heart and now, my heart is all open to receive everything here.
