    Episode 19: How to clean the tank, what soil, etc etc? I'd like to see that!

    Your tank looks great, I also love all the natural plants & their roots. I too am waiting to see some babies in my tank, since I have had my Puffers for 14 months now.

      Wayne LeMarble Thanks! Yeah I absolutely love the more natural look. I think it encourages more natural behaviour too. Fingers crossed for pea babies!

    I've learnt a lot from you. I have a 10 gallon tank, with 3 pea puffers and two amano shrimp. They all live happily together, I probably would not have tried putting shrimp in the tank if it wasn't for your video. Maybe set up another tank with something else?

      Dee Tracey Thanks Dee! So glad you have found this series so helpful. 3 peas and 2 Amanos is perfect! Unfortunately I don’t have enough money for a second tank. Would love to though!

    My pea puffers ignore tubifex completely. They eat only snails, bloodworms, corethra and other fishes' fry.

    nice series,subbed,also how do pea puffers fare with shipping?,

    • @peapufferkingdom118
      @peapufferkingdom118  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ultimate Despair Thanks for subbing! To be honest I don’t think they ship all that great. You’re best off getting them from a local fish store where you can see first hand if they healthy or skinny/carrying internal parasites.

    Hi bro.i have 7 dwarf puffer...what is the process for breeding this fish..thanks

    • @peapufferkingdom118
      @peapufferkingdom118  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Goblin Having more females than males is the best starting point but I have found out first hand that it’s not essential. I believe Java moss in the low corners of the tank where they feel safe useful. Mark’s Aquatics YT channel (think that’s the name) has actually bred them and has brilliant videos on breeding.

    Do you ever feed them snails?

    • @peapufferkingdom118
      @peapufferkingdom118  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Animal Addiction Yes I do. I have a small breeding tank of bladder snails. I chuck in 10 every so often as a snack. They are breeder quicker recently so I will be able to fed more soon.

    Hi, sorry to hear this will be the last. My 2 puffers have a 20 gallon with a never ending buffet of snails could this be why they will not eat frozen blood worms & brine. Before the snails grew into the tank Miny & Rotor would eat the frozen, now no reaction to it. Maybe a dumb question, I just want them to have an assortment. Any suggestions on how to get them interested again?

      V L Snails are probably there most natural diet so if you can keep feeding enough snails and cleaning them out properly it’s not a big deal. However starving them for a couple of days may help getting them to eat frozen. None of mine eat frozen brine and two of them won’t touch frozen blood worms either. They all eat live tubifex, bloodworms and snails.

      @@peapufferkingdom118 thank you for the response, oh! boy! Do I have snails! And it's a pain to clean out all the shells. But, Miny & Rotor are worth it. They are fat & seem happy. They used to eat the brine & blood worms before the snails moved in. So I guess it's my fault. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll see what I can do. Have a Great Year
