I feed my otos courgette mostly but use a long slice and I scrape out the wet seed center, my Amano Shrimp also love it.

Very cool seeing the pea puffers together in a group like that.

I love having a big group. You get to see so many different behaviors. I think a small tank with 3 peas would be cool too. Feeding time is certainly fun!

Once more a great and informative video. More or less I got the same constellation of species in my tank. Going pretty well the last months. Also noticed a big difference in the behaviour of my Otos when I bought a couple more of them as they are schooling fish as well.
    Thank you for the videos.

Thanks so much! Yes Ottos love to school. I had 4 but two died very quick so I will need to add more soon. Those species mix really well. Glad they are working out well for you! : )

i heard puffers prefer quiet water, so they may not enjoy the wave-maker

Hey Lori. Episode 4 does exactly that. I may do an updated version though.

I added a pleco and 3 otocinclus a week ago and seem to be completely fine. No one is chasing, harassing or bullying anyone. I'm keeping my eyes on them, but so far so good.

That's a good mix! I am having trouble keeping ottos and have 3 with my peas too. If you can keep them healthy they are amazing tankmates. : )

maybe go 1 less nerite.. it cold cut the poop load in half. It may slow down as they clean up the algae.. less to eat.. less to poop. My nerite doesn't poop that much... but maybe it's just not eating enough lol.

I’m going to buy 2 more nerite snails when I get my puffer finally. They’re really pretty and my 1 that I have are really good at cleaning up decaying leaves from some of the plants. Cool tank!

Hufflepuff Pets They are nice additions to a pea Puffer tank for sure! They look great. Do you find they create a lot of waste?
