If you find a store that has P puffers that are bred in captivity you don't have to worry about internal parasites it's only wild-caught which you probably shouldn't buy anyway no reason to buy wild-caught pea puffers they the one puffer that has been easy to breed

Oh, poor little devils. And I thought it was to sell me hitchhiker worms (for what fish I had, it was safe enough to use csnoneF) Would you suggest dosing the tank with medicine (I see you have a few recommendations) when you bring your puffer home profilactically? Where I live it's impossible to find these guys at the fish store, so I did something VERY stupid. I ordered 3 from an area within four hours of me by plane. I just now did it after years of deliberation and now I'm scared to bits. So, dose them when they arrive?
Mine pea puffer is new but is floating around and hardly eating any ideas on what I can do to help? My tank has been set up before getting the fish for about 2 weeks

If you have all females in your tank you generally don't have aggression it's only when you introduce males I have a 20 gallon three females and one male with absolutely no aggression in my tank whatsoever
The male to female ratio isn't much of an issue considering all pea puffers begin as female, and once they establish their territory one becomes more dominant and becomes a male. So I really don't understand why people stress this one so much with this species. Unless you're buying them as adults, which is pretty rare to find in a pet store anyway

Why do we think that tho? Can't they get parasites from the live Snails and bloodworms Feed them?

mine were thin when i got them but very active theyre getting chunky now haha
