The reason why more and more people are watching you is because people recognize that you're a good guy, a regular guy, like them. You give us an escape from where we are to go on a journey with you. We learn from your experience, and we have fun while doing it. So, from me to you, TJ, thank you 😊

Cool to see TJ answering that one kid's questions about each and every bottle. I'd get a bit tired of that over time, but that's what this community is about. ❤🎉
Just blew my mind in the intro when you said Tulsa. Didn't even read the title and caught me off guard being in my town standing in front of one of my go to stores!
It’s not just bourbon hunting. It’s the way you take strangers on a journey and on the journey folks get some education into how bourbon is finished or what a particular distillery is doing or what bottle you found in a given state or city. It’s an experience like your shopping for bourbon with an old friend. Love the content, love how you engage the audience watching and the audience that you’re with on a given hunt.
The first bar in Oklahoma territory, Same Old Moses Saloon didn’t survive prohibition, but the name carried through the years and has found itself reborn in several expressions distilled by WanderFolk Spirits. Formerly called Prairie Wolf, WanderFolk Spirits is located in downtown Guthrie, Oklahoma, and is the state’s first legal distillery
yeah and they also 100% knew who TJ was, but honestly revealing the exact allocated bottle you're looking for while standing around a ton of strangers before a store opens, you kinda risk someone else getting it before you do. so it's kinda smart not to say anything if you wanna leave with what you came to get.
@@wgabrielagreed. Yeah they were pretty reserved on what information they wanted to give out. Especially cause they know your following would also find out about their honey holes if they dropped any names.
Pretty cool when a liquor store gets a couple of Wellers Blue Label and the owner opens them up for customers to try, that’s Andy at Booze Brothers. Love that guy!
The prices of Redwood Empire Cask Strength & Bottle In Bond are usually about $70. I live in Sonoma County and that's what the local bottle shops usually have it at.
It is awesome that you are so approachable Genuinely a good person and enjoying what you do. Really cool taking fans along with you for the ride. You deserve everything that is coming to you. #BOTTLEKILL
Hey hey! Thanks for making the trip to Oklahoma for a fun little bourbon hunt! We are the state's first legal distillery based in Guthrie, OK & produce the Same Old Moses Bourbons & Ryes that you checked out at Parkhill's. Same Old Moses IS our fully double-barreled blended line, in which we partner with a very small, independent South Texas distiller to create some extremely unique & delicious whiskeys utilizing Scotch-inspired wine casks finishing techniques on American bourbon & rye. This is one of the many outside-the-box spirits that we create, we'd love to welcome you into the distillery next time you wander our way. Safe travels & cheers!
Good video, sir. I'm a Tulsa local myself, but I wanted to let you know that if you stop back through the area, you really ought to stop by a couple stores in Bartlesville, just an hour north. I think Bartlesville has the best selection in ALL of Oklahoma, and I think its because of the Phillips 66 Headquarters located in town. I'm more of a scotch drinker myself but I was so surprised by the selection and unique bottles of scotch and bourbon that I asked the ladies behind the counter about it. They said a lot of the stuff they have on shelves were from special orders from locals and they bought extra bottles for their shelves.
New member here. Been streaming your videos for about a month now and learning a few things here and there. Got about 60 bottles at home here in Breaux Bridge, LA. In my cigar group, I am considered the Bourbon Guy, but there is a lot I don't know. I'm actually more into rye than bourbon. Thanks for the videos and keep up the great work.
That kid looks and sounds just like Pharell Williams. Brewzle is the pied piper of bourbon. Its great there are people of all ages who are into bourbon.
A Parkhill Family Tradition Since 1963 Parkhill's Warehouse Liquors and Wine was started over 50 years ago by Fred Parkhill. Since then Parkhill's Warehouse has grown to become Tulsa's premier liquor store. Our focus is on giving each customer what they are looking for at the best prices.
I worked at Rocktown. Been open for 13 years going on 14 now. But to answer your speculation, yes they did and still use “small” barrels but they also use 53s too. It’s kind of a blend of both. Just depends on what the barrel supplier has. The barrel sizes have grown throughout the years, from 5 gal to 15 gal and now to 15 and 53s. They also have the Bardstown collection that was contract distilled at BBC that’s only 53s. They have some awesome products and I loved what they make, that’s one reason I went to work there. With that being said, the best thing I ever tasted were a few of the single barrel ryes. Out of this world good and in my top 5 favorite ryes of all time.
Hey T.J., I'm the vice president of a local car club here in Marietta, Ga. and I'm a bourbon collector. I have around 2oo bottles and watch your videos for advice. I have a 65' Mustang coupe resto mod and a 73' Trans Am, 455, 4 speed.
TJ, awesome video! Your interaction with other whiskey enthusiasts, liquor store workers/managers is fantastic! Your festival should be a huge success, wish I could be there 🥃🥃
If you drove down I44 you missed the cheapest pours you’re ever gonna see. 7 bucks will get you 3 finger pour of Weller 107, Weller 12, Stagg JR or any of the Kentucky Owls. Small casino keeps a crazy selection.
Just wanted to say thanks for the great videos you put out. Without your videos, I would have never ventured outside of the big named distilleries. Thanks to your videos I get more excited about trying the smaller, less known labels these days. Frey Ranch, Ben Holladay, Blue Note, etc.
Re: Red Saw - Honeoye Falls Distillery closed about 4 years ago, so those bottle have been kicking around for awhile. Red Saw was ok, but too young. Not a $35 whiskey. Their best whiskey was an Empire Rye which I really liked. Empire Rye is a designation for NY State for Rye Whiskey made with at least 75% NY Grown Rye. Their Flower City Gin was also one of my favorites and a real bargain. Used to make freezer door martini's with it.
I tried a Jeppson's Single Barrel last week....it's MGP and exactly the same as Old Soul. The guy who helped pick that SiB told us they have lots of barrels and will be releasing older ones over the next few years.
Coming from Arkansas and being within a hour of the distillery. They are using a combination of small and large barrels. Granted not much can be done with a single barrel cask strength bottle. I also have to say that out of everything they are currently making, their more out their stuff like the rice and barley whiskey are decently better. The Golden Promise and Sour Mash are their best.
Glad you bought the Springbank 10 (really cool Campbeltown distillery). The 10, 15, and 12 Cask Strength along with the Longrow Peated and Longrow Reds are amazing.

Picked up the New Riff 8 Year Bourbon last night and tried a pour. Really good. I have a New Riff Single Barrel store pick and the 8 year was much more tasty to me.
I’ve seen it in videos like this on the shelf, but not found one. I got my local store to order in the 8 y bourbon, and picked up a bottle when they came in. Must be 8 in a case cause he got 8. I’m probably gonna go grab a 2nd bottle to have as backup cause I think when the word gets out they’re gonna fly

Gold label is selling at $170 at a place in Houston. Getting rid of inventory of stuff not selling probably. Even at $170 not really worth it for dickel juice mixed in with others
Someone else recommended the baller. The most unlike a single malt as you can get. However not a subtle finish. But the distiller has been doing it for a long time. Delicious glass
I really can't wait to see you hit Maine for a hunt, but man will that put some miles on whatever your driving we don't have a lot of good or decent stores maybe a handful across the state I can say are worth it.
